Christina Aguilera shocks fans with skinny frame and 'unrecognizable' appearance amid Ozempic rumors

Daily Mail30-04-2025

Christina Aguilera has shocked her longtime fans after appearing completely unrecognizable in a new photoshoot.
The 44-year-old, who has been rumored to have used Ozempic, covered Carcy magazine with a new look following her drastic weight loss.
In one image, the Beautiful singer sat cross legged in a chair while wearing a flimsy gold mini-dress.
Her blonde hair was tousled and she had smoky eye makeup on.
While the shoot drew a lot of praise, many initially failed to recognize that Christina was the subject.
'Why does she have a different face every time we see her?' asked one.
'HOW IS SHE BENJAMIN BUTTONING? I've always been such a huge Christina fan and it's been so nice to see her look so happy, healthy and THRIVING lately and this shoot is SO GORGEOUS,' gushed another.
'I thought that was Nicola Peltz for a second,' added another.
A fourth speculated, 'Ozempic not only made her lose weight but changed her face too.'
Another wrote, 'Her ability to look younger every time I see her should be studied. She's literally aging backwards and looks so stunning.'
Although she has not directly responded to Ozempic rumors, Christina recently remarked that she no longer feels the need to 'give a f**k' about the public scrutiny on her body.
Speaking about her early years in the music industry, Christina told Glamour magazine that music bosses were unhappy when she gained weight in her 20s - and said they preferred her as a 'skinny teenager.'
'When you're a teenager, you have a very different body than when you're in your 20s,' Christina said in the cover interview. 'I started to fill out, and then that was unacceptable because it was like, "Oh, she's getting thicker."
'Then I had industry people say: "They liked your body and how you were as a skinny teenager."'

The star's weight has fluctuated over the years, with her recently sparking rumours of Ozempic use after debuting a 50lb weight loss.
She previously said she 'hated being super skinny' and had started embracing and 'loving my new curves,' according to Health.
Christina's career started out when she competed on Star Search, before being selected for The All-New Mickey Mouse Club.
After hanging up her mouse ears in 1996, Christina recorded the theme tune for Disney movie Mulan which helped propel her to fame with her self-titled debut album the following year.
The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart, with help from her hit singles Genie in a Bottle and What a Girl Wants.
But the pressure to portray a clean cut look all the time was leaving her burnt out, and determined to reclaim her sexuality and break norms she later carved out a decidedly raunchier brand of pop than her peers.
Christina raised eyebrows with X-rated performances in music videos for songs like Dirrty.
She released more hit albums including Stripped and Back to Basics, and made her acting debut in the 2010 musical Burlesque.
After her pop career hit a snag, the songstress served as a coach on NBC's The Voice on and off for six seasons, before departing the series for good in 2016.
Last year it was revealed that Christina was moving on from the only record label she's ever signed to, RCA Records, after 26 years.
Now Christina has signed 5020 Records, a Latin-infused label based out of Miami, according to Variety.
The Bionic beauty shut down her critics in a fiery Instagram post on New Year's Eve.
Captioning a video montage that began with various social media comments people have left on her posts — including speculation about her recent weight loss — she wrote, 'This year, doing something a little different.
'This is a reminder to everyone that you are your OWN STORYTELLER in your OWN LIFE. No one else can dictate who you are.'
And she added defiantly, 'No one deserves an explanation. I am evolved enough to know that nothing comes easy and no one is perfect. Everyone will judge you. No matter WHAT you do. And/or what you don't do.'
The mother-of-two continued, 'Acceptance comes with accepting yourself first. And the difficult journey it takes sometimes to get there.
'I celebrate everyone taking the time to put one step in front of the next every day in order to build the next version of themselves for the better. Allowing yourself grace, patience and respect.'

Orlando Bloom teases the possibility of 'getting the band back together' for a new Pirates of the Caribbean movie

It's been eight years since the last Pirates of the Caribbean movie - 2017's Dead Men Tell No Tales - and Orlando Bloom is ready to return to the franchise. Bloom shot to fame as Legolas in The Lord of the Rings franchise, and quickly parlayed that into playing Will Turner in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. There has been talk of a sixth film ever since Dead Me Tell No Tales debuted, with a report in April claiming the next film would be a reboot, possibly without Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow. While nothing has been confirmed about a sixth film by Disney yet, producer Jerry Bruckheimer hinted last year that there were two separate Pirates movies being developed, one with Depp and one without. Bloom recently appeared on This Morning, promoting his new film Deep Cover with Bryce Dallas Howard and Nick Mohammed, where he was asked about the future of the franchise. While he admitted that he didn't know anything about a future sequel, he definitely seemed interested in returning. 'Well, I don't know, I can't say anything at the moment because I really don't know, but there's definitely...' and when asked if it was about 'availability,' he said it was, 'nothing like that.' 'I think they're trying to work out what it would all look like, I personally think it'd be great to get the band back together,' Bloom admitted. 'That would be great, but there are always different ideas, and so we'll see where it lands,' Bloom revealed. The franchise clearly still holds a beloved place in Bloom's heart, since he responded to his co-star Keira Knightley's recent comments about the films. She told The Times back in November that the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise was, 'making and breaking' her simultaneously. 'I was seen as s*** because of them, and yet because they did so well, I was given the opportunity to do the films that I ended up getting Oscar nominations for,' Knightley said. She added that they were, 'the most successful films I'll ever be a part of, and they were the reason that I was taken down publicly. So they're a very confused place in my head.' Bloom responded in Entertainment Weekly, stating, ''It was such a huge moment in time that is almost like… it feels almost like another lifetime now.' 'I definitely understand where Keira was coming from, and she does wonderful things,' the actor said, 'I have a lot of positive takeaways.' The Pirates of the Caribbean franchise - spawned from the hit Disney theme parks ride of the same name - has grossed over $4.5 billion worldwide. It was also the first ever movie franchise to spawn two separate $1 billion films - Dead Man's Chest ($1.1 billion) and On Stranger Tides ($1.046 billion). While Depp has disappeared from the spotlight for the past few years after his legal battles with Amber Heard, it would be interesting to see if he would in fact return as Captain Jack Sparrow for a new Pirates movie.
