BBC Radio 2 return for Zoe Ball just five months after shock exit
Zoe Ball is making a return to BBC Radio 2 - just five months after she quit her flagship Breakfast Show.
During her final show, Robbie Williams teased it was "not the end" for Zoe, although she was quick to deny his statement.
But it seems the Let Me Entertain you hitmaker was right, as Zoe will be back on the airwaves today (Saturday, May 3).
According to BBC bosses, Zoe's 1pm show will be packed with "the best songs and chat for a Saturday".
Zoe has also told listeners to expect "lots of laughs" and her favourite upbeat hits, The Express reports.

Helen Thomas, head of Radio 2, shared the news in February and said: "Zoe is one of the UK's most loved presenters, so I'm thrilled to announce that she has a new home on Radio 2 on Saturday lunchtimes, plus she'll be hosting various specials for us throughout the year."
When Zoe's exit was announced, a source said: "Zoe loved being on air, but she was never going to be a Wogan who lived and breathed the breakfast show for 27 years.
"The 4am wake-up calls and missing Woody and Nelly in the mornings took their toll quite early on. She had been thinking about leaving for a while.
"The BBC had to work hard to persuade her to stay on in her last contract negotiation a couple of years ago."
Her decision was backed by her son Woody, who took to social media to brand her previous wake up times "crazy".
The 23-year-old DJ and reality star said: "Well done, Mama, on a fabulous stint on Radio 2!
"Here's to more time at home! Excuse the whole family pic can't find enough crackers with @zoetheball. YOU ARE AMAZING. 4AM is a crazy time to get up!"
As well as predicting her return on her final BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show, Robbie Williams also left Zoe fighting back tears as he told her: "I just want to say thank you for your services so far to the entertainment world, to BBC Radio 2, to have all that have gone before you and will come after you.
"But for you in particular, the transformative thing that you do and the kindness that you exude is important, and has been important, and will be important to people's lives, so congrats to you."
Zoe was replaced by Scott Mills as host of the BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show.

Robert De Niro Reveals the Surprisingly Simple Parenting Rule He Swears By
Robert De Niro recently shared some sound parenting advice with the world. The legendary actor, 81, sat down for an interview with Entertainment Tonight as part of the Tribeca Film Festival, where he revealed the No. 1 rule he lives by when it comes to his seven children. 'The main thing is to support your kids,' he remarked in the interview posted on Wednesday, June 4. 'You have to support them, period. And they have to know that you support them. Always.' The two-time Academy Award winner has plenty of experience in the fatherhood department, as he is the dad of seven children. He most recently welcomed his daughter, Gia, into the world with his partner, Tiffany Chen, in April 2023. 'She's just pure joy,' he gushed to the outlet. 'She's two now, so as they get older and older.. but it's always wonderful. Pure joy, what can I say?' In February, De Niro appeared on BBC Radio 2's The Scott Mills Breakfast Show and gave insight into life with Gia. 'Well, I don't watch as many movies as I should. I try to watch films… I just want to keep up, but I watch current events, if you will news [and] stuff like that,' he said. 'Now I watch, with my little girl, The Wiggles and Ms. Rachel.' While the children's entertainers are now a part of De Niro's routine, he admitted, 'I didn't know of them until I started seeing them, and my daughter loves to watch them.' De Niro shares his seven children with four different women. He has a son, Raphael, 48, with his first wife, Diahnne Abbott, whom he married in 1976 and divorced in 1988. He also adopted Diahnne's daughter, Drena, 57, from her previous relationship. De Niro later had twins, Julian and Airyn, 29, with his girlfriend, Toukie Smith. He is also the father of Elliot, 27, and Helen, 13, from his second marriage to Grace Hightower, whom he was married to from 1997 to 2018. In April, Airyn came out as transgender — and was met with full support by De Niro. 'I loved and supported Aaron as my son, and now I love and support Airyn as my daughter. I don't know what the big deal is,' he told People in a statement. 'I love all my children.'

Michael Cera Says Jackie Chan Had No Clue Who He Was When They Met: 'He Thought I Was a Competition Winner'
It's probably safe to assume Jackie Chan hasn't seen Superbad, Juno, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World or Barbie — basically all of Michael Cera's most iconic roles. The Barbie actor recently told NME that Chan had no idea who he was when they met for the first time after ending up at the same press stop, BBC Radio 2, while promoting their respective movies, The Phoenician Scheme and Karate Kid: Legends. More from The Hollywood Reporter The Crawleys Are Off to the Races in First Trailer for 'Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale' 'Karate Kid: Legends' Gets Kicked Around by 'Lilo & Stitch,' 'Mission: Impossible' With Soft $21M Box Office Opening 'The Love That Remains' Review: Hlynur Pálmason Follows 'Godland' With a Snapshot of Marital Dissolution More Elemental Than Affecting 'When I met him though, he was like, 'Who is this person, what's going on?'' Cera recalled of their interaction. 'We took a picture but I think he thought I was a competition winner. He was like, 'OK let's do a picture real quick. Come on.' Not rudely. But I felt like I was invading his little personal time with his team before he goes on the radio.' However, he didn't take it personally. Cera added, 'So I was like, 'What am I doing here?' But everyone was very sweet and I got to meet Jackie.' Cera was promoting Wes Anderson's latest pic, The Phoenician Scheme, which just premiered at Cannes. The film follows wealthy businessman Zsa-zsa Korda, who appoints his only daughter, a nun, as sole heir to his estate. As Korda embarks on a new enterprise, they soon become the target of scheming tycoons, foreign terrorists and determined assassins. As for Chan, he reprised his role as Mr. Han for the new Karate Kid: Legends movie, 15 years after he starred in 2010's The Karate Kid with Jaden Smith. The film follows kung fu prodigy Li Fong, who relocates to New York City and attracts unwanted attention from a local karate champion. He then embarks on a journey to enter the ultimate karate competition with the help of Mr. Han (Ben Wang) and Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio).
