Jessie J posted a positive update after undergoing surgery. Jessie announced recently that she had been diagnosed with "early breast cancer" and would be undergoing surgery, but in a recent post, she revealed her "cancer is all gone" as she focused on resting and recovering from the surgery. In her Instagram Stories, she said: "Cancer has all gone. My nipple is where it used to be. I can watch love island with no guilt. I am getting to rest and talk to friends more than ever My Mum lives with us (My) Sky just being Sky. "Chanan making me feel safe and the massages are 10/10 Connecting with other people who are going through a similar time and being able to support each other. Lots of other things..." She went on to share her honest thoughts on her diagnosis and recent surgery, revealing she doesn't "like sitting down". "Cons (These are very honest/some are silly): Not being able to be the Mum I'm used to being and not picking sky up or the person I'm used to being tbh. I don't sit down ever. lol," she added. "The fear of not knowing if the cancer is all gone - the mental with this is [foggy face emoji]. The pain and discomfort is ok and expected but a dickhead when I'm trying to sleep. Sneezing is a myth - that hurts. Not pooing from the anaesthetic and the painkillers. I just wanna poooooo." Jessie continued to talk about being "backed up" in her next Instagram Stories, writing: "Since my surgery I have only been on paracetamol and ibuprofen because my blood pressure is too low for anything stronger and even they have got me backed up like N old chimney. "I have had laxatives, a good fresh diet, prunes, juices, and your girl is 20% leg and 80% [poo emoji]. Any suggestions welcomed." Jessie performed at the Summertime Ball a couple of weekends back, where she told the 80,000 strong audience that this would be the last performance before her surgery. She said: "Today, this show is my last show before I go to beat breast cancer! So it's so special to me you have no idea. I feel so special to be from the UK, to be an honest person and say how you feel. "This is my last show before go treatment and all the things It's the most special thing and I'm so grateful for this life, for you guys, for my career, to my, my son. My partner, my parents. My family, my band, my crew." She added: "We are so lucky, we have so much to live for, so much joy, so much, so many things to do." Jessie made the announcement about her diagnosis in a video shared with fans online. She told them: "I was diagnosed with early breast cancer. Cancer sucks in any form, but I'm holding on to the word 'early'."
