To no surprise, Michigan State football has opened as a long shot to win the Big Ten in 2025.
Odds for who will win the Big Ten Championship Game in 2025 have been released by FanDuel, and Michigan State is one of the bigger long shots. The Spartans are listed with +12000 odds to be holding up the Big Ten Championship trophy in early December.
Compared to the other Big Ten teams, Michigan State has the 12th best odds to win the league. The Spartans are right behind Minnesota at +11000 and right ahead of Wisconsin at +13000. At the top of the league is Ohio State (shocker) with +185 odds and then Penn State and Oregon at +270 odds.
Michigan State enters next season looking to snap a three-year bowl-less streak -- which is the longest in the Big Ten. The Spartans open the season against Western Michigan on August 29. Kickoff for that matchup is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET.

Steelers receive potentially troublesome update on Aaron Rodgers signing
Aaron Rodgers can hint at a Steelers signing all he wants — but one insider claims he hasn't guaranteed a commitment to Pittsburgh, even by mandatory minicamp. On a recent episode of The Rich Eisen Show, insider Tom Pelissero had this to say about Rodgers potentially skipping out on the Steelers: Advertisement 'I have been told that he has not affirmatively told the Steelers that he's coming. Certainly, all indications — if you just look at it logically — are that he's coming, based on his comments about, 'Hey, there's a team that plays in Chicago I might play for; I'm not playing in New Orleans,'" Pelissero remarked. "He took one visit [with the Steelers]. He's been throwing with DK Metcalf. He talks all the time with Mike Tomlin. I know he's talked with Arthur Smith. So, there are all these signs that he's coming, but he has not affirmatively said, 'Hey, June 9 — book me a ticket, I'm coming in and I'm going to join this team.'' The fact that Rodgers hasn't given any affirmations — even behind closed doors — is troubling, as the four-time MVP has inadvertently held the Steelers hostage at quarterback this offseason with this never-ending waiting game. Ex-Steelers QB Kenny Pickett named 'worst player' at Browns OTAs
Ex-Steelers QB Kenny Pickett named 'worst player' at Browns OTAs Former Steelers QB Kenny Pickett is struggling at Browns OTAs. Some have argued that the Browns' four-man QB room is the joke of the NFL — and if that's true, Pickett may be the punchline, as ESPN Cleveland host Aaron Goldhammer provides some disheartening news on the former Steelers QB. According to Goldhammer, Pickett was behind veteran Joe Flacco and rookie QBs Shedeur Sanders and Dillon Gabriel at Day 3 of Browns OTAs. Here is what the ESPN Cleveland host had to say on Pickett's less-than-spectacular performance: "Best quarterback at OTAs yesterday, from what I heard — and I talked to 20 people that were there — consensus best quarterback: Joe Flacco. Consensus second-best quarterback: Shedeur Sanders. Consensus third: Dillon Gabriel. Consensus worst player at OTAs: Kenny Pickett." Pickett previously claimed that he was thankful for his time with the Eagles — as he supposedly learned what success was supposed to look like. Well, he may need some of that Philly magic again, as he's currently losing the QB competition in Cleveland to a 40-year-old veteran QB and two rookies.
