Love Is Blind fans blast Scots star Katisha 'immature' amid love triangle
Fans have taken to social media as Love Is Blind returned to Netflix on Wednesday. It wasn't long before drama ensued, and love triangles began to form.
Viewers are eagerly awaiting the release of the second batch of episodes of the new series, which is set to land on the streaming giant later this month, August 20. Scottish participant Katisha Atkinson, 31, found herself at a crossroads on the show at the end of part one.
The 31-year-old, from Dumfries, admitted she was left feeling "confused and overwhelmed" after forming connections with two men in the pods. She ultimately chose to go for her "usual type" in health coach Javen, 28, despite her gut initially saying otherwise.
Demola, a financial analyst from Romford, had worn his heart on his sleeve as he wooed the Scots nanny, confessing he was "falling in love" with her as he prepared to propose, but Katisha shut him down at the last minute in a 180 decision.
Katisha admitted: "He's just so sweet and lovely but I never recognised me being put first and I'm quite inexperienced in love, I don't know how to receive it."
Although Katisha told Demola, 31, she could "see herself" falling in love with him, she pulled back on her decision at the last minute and chose Javen, who had been more reserved in his feelings.
Fans heartbroken for Demola took to social media as they slammed Scotland's newest reality star's decision and blasted her as being "immature" noting she has to work on her self-love.
"Katisha is immature, acknowledging that Javen is like the other guys she dated and that it hasn't worked but then choosing him over Demi #LoveIsBlindUk," one fan wrote on Twitter.
Someone else chimed in: "Katisha is beautiful and a nice girl but she needs to work on that self worth. No way she should be trying to marry Javen who hasn't given her anything mentally or emotionally #LoveisblindUK."
This was echoed by another viewer, who quipped: "Katisha, girly… we need to heal a bit more if a love that should give you inner peace makes you run the opposite way. Demola deserved better."
Someone else wrote: "Katisha fell for the game player.. her usual type. Girl, he just stepped up because he wanted to 'win'. So disingenuous! #LoveIsBlindUK."
"Katisha self sabotaged so hard by not choosing Demola, I can tell this is her pattern. too scared to pick the one that loved her more what a waste #loveisblindUK," another added.
One viewer fumed: "Omg i cannot believe Katisha's decision, she said she wanted Demola as he was loving and thoughtful. She went and told both of them who she was gonna choose. Then because Javen brought her flowers she went for him just like that. Same day and everything. B***H! #LoveIsBlindUK."
Love is Blind Series 2 is available to watch now on Netflix. The remaining episodes will air on the streaming platform later this month, August 20.
