Amanda Holden's hit Netflix show, Cheat: Unfinished Business, has been axed after one series despite having big ratings.

The show, which was filmed in Majorca, Spain, starring Amanda, 54, and Paul C. Brunson, saw eight former couples who had split due to infidelity head to a luxury retreat to work out their differences.

However, it has been reported that the show has been axed after one series and won't be returning for a second instalment despite "being one of the most streamed shows on the platform".

A source told The Sun: "Despite Cheat being popular with audiences Netflix has decided to pursue new show formats. Bosses love Amanda and are in talks with her on three different show ideas, so it's likely fans will see a lot more of her on the platform in the future.

Meanwhile a Netflix spokesman confirmed to the publication: "Cheat: Unfinished Business won't be returning."

It comes as Amanda said presenting a dating show changed her own relationship with her husband as she admitted to making notes during filming.

Speaking about the experience as she promoted the show, she admitted that she had listened to what Paul had been saying to other couples, took notes, and applied those to her relationship.
Discussing the show and Paul's input with Closer UK she said: "He gives out amazing advice that I literally made notes on throughout filming. I was really nice to my husband Chris across the summer when we were making the show!"
Amanda previously opened up about her marriage on her radio show Heart FM, saying: "I've been married for over 20 years. Well, I met him in 2003, I can't work it out.

"Anyway, a long time, and our lives have been very separate for a long time because we're both very busy. Obviously, we're very happily married, but we do lots of things separately.

Strictly Come Dancing 'cocaine scandal' being investigated by police in new update

The Metropolitan Police has confirmed they are investigating drug related offences following an inquiry into hit BBC show Strictly Come Dancing before the series launch Police have said they are investigating drug allegations on Strictly Come Dancing. This weekend, it was reported that the BBC called in the cops after lawyers began an inquiry into the hit dance competition. It followed an inquiry into the show amid claims two of its stars had used cocaine. Strictly has been marred by controversies over the past few years, with the latest coming just weeks before its return to screens. Earlier this month, the BBC enlisted the services of top legal firm Pinsent Masons to investigate recent drug accusations. Former participants, professional dancers and crew members have been invited to speak with solicitors to voice any issues they might have had. Now, the Metropolitan Police have issued a statement to the Mirror as they said: "On Tuesday 12 August, the Metropolitan Police received an allegation about drug-related offences. "Police are assessing the information, and further enquiries are taking place to establish whether there is evidence of a criminal offence being committed. We won't be commenting further at this time.' A source said: 'It's a significant new development in the BBC's recent string of crises that they have now got the police involved in investigating allegations surrounding Strictly. "This is a very dramatic turn of events. Despite all the show and its team have been through over recent months, it's hugely controversial that you've now got Scotland Yard detectives probing Strictly. They added to The Sun: 'This is their biggest prime-time family entertainment show, so it's not a good look for the BBC.' It is believed this is the first time the BBC has been in contact with the police over allegations linked to the show. When approached by the Mirror yesterday, the BBC said they wouldn't comment on any police investigation. A BBC spokesperson said earlier this month: 'We have clear protocols and policies in place for dealing with any serious complaint raised with us. We would always encourage people to speak to us if they have concerns. It would not be appropriate for us to comment further.' Earlier this month, the BBC reportedly enlisted the services of a top legal firm to investigate accusations of cocaine use by two stars, with reports suggesting their substance abuse was an open secret on the show. According to The Sun, one of the allegations involves a Strictly star who allegedly commented on another individual's dilated pupils, hinting at drug intoxication. They said: "Have you seen their pupils... they're off their face". Since then, it was reported that bosses have offered those stars the chance of rehab. It was also claimed there could be random drug tests added to the upcoming tours, which are known to include after-parties. The Mirror has contacted the BBC for comment.

Kristen Bell says husband Dax Shepard was 'screaming' over her steamy on-screen kiss with Adam Brody

Kristen Bell said her husband, Dax Shepard, couldn't get enough of her on-screen kiss with Adam Brody — and even celebrated it with his friends. While speaking at the inaugural Televerse event in Los Angeles on Friday, the actress, 45, revealed that her spouse, 50, was on an off-roading trip when Netflix dropped season one of her hit series Nobody Wants This. Even miles away, he still found a way to show his support by sending her a voice memo. Over background music from the scene — and 'screaming' of 'Oh my god!' — Bell said she got to hear Shepard and his buddies cheering as her character, Joanne, finally locked lips with Noah (Brody). Looking back on it, the mom-of-two said his excitement 'says a lot' about how invested he was in the fictional couple's romance. In the scene, Noah and Joanne are talking on the street when he tells her to put down her ice cream and bag so he can kiss her. Both Brody and Bell revealed that the script described it as 'the world's greatest kiss,' which only raised the stakes and their nerves. Bell joked that the scene came with 'max pressure' and that she and Brody were determined to do it justice. 'In the [first kiss] moment, it is meant to give the audience the passion of these two people and their comfort together, because comfort can be incredibly passionate,' Bell explained. 'It's a deep, beautiful emotion, and we don't associate it with kissing very much.' After each take, she recalls running over to Foster and asking: 'Was it cute? Was it hot? Did you like it?' When asked why she scripted it as 'the world's greatest kiss' without any further instructions, Foster admitted that she gets self conscious writing 'sexy moments' and using 'romance novel lingo.' 'I don't know how to say, he sweeps his hands in her hair and she locks eyes... that just weirds me out!' she confessed. 'I think that was more laziness on my part. But there was definitely some strategy behind the kiss.' She went on to say that the kiss was designed to anchor the story. 'I think that sometimes as women, there's sort of a universal language that we all know with each other. We have a responsibility when we're creating something that we are telling the narrative of romance to young women,' she told the audience. 'And a lot of it is, have you know their habits that you sort of don't want to emulate, and the idea of showing women a healthy relationship.' She continued: 'Sometimes as a woman, we want men to talk to us like we're a little delicate and strong, and to support us.' As the series prepares to return for season two, she explained that Joanne and Noah's relationship will move into more mature territory, facing questions about family and cohabitation. 'Joanne and Noah are now at a place in their relationship for season two where they're asking each other different questions,' Foster shared. 'Everyone's been in the first couple months of a relationship, and everyone's past the threshold where you ask if you and your partner are going to dinner with each other's families or if you are going to cohabitate with one another. There's all of these teeny, tiny things that link you closer to someone else.' Jackie Tohn, who plays Esther — married to Noah's older brother Sasha (Timothy Simons) — also teased that her character is realizing she wants to embrace joy like Joanne and Noah instead of creating 'self-imposed bad times.' The show, created by Foster, follows Joanne, an agnostic podcast host, and Noah, an unconventional rabbi, as they navigate love and faith. Their first kiss, which went viral, resonated with viewers for blending passion and comfort — a balance Bell and Foster both say is at the heart of the series. Nobody Wants This returns for season two on October 23, 2025.

And it was alleged one Strictly personality had said about one of the stars they were 'off their face … have you seen the pupils in their eyes'. This morning we revealed cops were now involved but did not state the nature and detail of the allegations they were investigating. The corporation had already launched an inquiry into its flagship Saturday night family show amid claims two of its stars had used cocaine. It is understood that detectives from the Met Police are examining other allegations relating to the telly ballroom hit, which has been rocked by a string of controversies. Our latest shock revelation comes as the BBC prepares to launch Strictly's 23rd series next month - after officially announcing the line-up of celebrities including reality TV star Dani Dyer.
