'I was mistaken for my 17-year-old's sister twice'– 'Magic' skincare oil drops to £10

Make the most of Boots' £10 Tuesday deal and snap up this skincare oil that normally costs £27.95
We do love a beauty bargain, and this one's a proper treat for both your skin and your bank balance. Usually £27.95, the No7 Youthful Replenishing Facial Oil has been dropped to £10 as part of Boots' weekly £10 Tuesday deal. That's less than half price for a glow-boosting skincare staple that beauty fans swear by. In fact, some shoppers say it rivals oils twice the price—and they're ditching their spendy serums in favour of this nourishing little gem.
So, what's all the fuss about? The No7 Youthful Replenishing Facial Oil is a proper hydration hero, perfect for anyone battling dryness, dullness or pesky fine lines. It's packed with a clever active blend that mimics the skin's natural oils, meaning it absorbs quickly and gets straight to work restoring lost moisture. At the heart of the formula is jojoba oil, nature's moisture-locking gem, which not only nourishes but also helps prevent future dryness. Add in a cocktail of other skin-softening oils and you've got a seriously comforting treat for thirsty skin.
Lightweight and non-greasy, it melts beautifully into the skin, leaving it soft, supple and noticeably more radiant, even after the first use. With continued use over four weeks, users report a visible reduction in fine lines and wrinkles, plus a boost in glow. It's hypo-allergenic too, making it a great pick for sensitive skin types who want a soothing, effective boost without any irritation. You can use it morning and night—just massage in a few drops after cleansing and follow with your usual moisturiser.
But don't just take No7's word for it– Boots shoppers are also awarding it mostly 5 stars for its effective results...
One happy buyer pens: "My daughters bought this as part of my Mother's Day gift, so I've been using it for two months or so. I really like how unobtrusive the scent is and how it's not very greasy. I can put my night moisturiser on over it. My skin is smooth and has a glow. I was mistaken for my 17-year-old daughter's sister twice in two places in the last week. As a 45-year-old, I'll take that."
Another adds: "How can there seriously not be a review on this oil? I have been using it for over a year, and I am amazed it is the best facial oil I have EVER used. After the first use the next morning, you will see a dramatic difference in your skin. Try it, what do you have to lose!"
"Got this facial oil in the gift box. Immediately loved the feel of hydration on my dry skin. Plumped, flexible, glowing skin. Soaks right in, then I moisturise and make up– youth in bottle! A new go-to for me. I purchased 2 on Black Friday with £10 off each. I will buy again," pens a third.
A fourth adds a slightly different viewpoint: "Lovely face oil- feels nice on skin. Bottle feels cheap but I am comparing it to premium brands. That said, I prefer this over some of the more expensive brands."
If you're shopping around for other facial oil options, Liz Earle's Superskin Concentrate also has excellent reviews and is on sale at Sephora. Previously £48, it's now shoppable for £33.60, and reviewers love it for the glow it gives their skin – and for the 'incredible' smell.

Yorkshire skincare brand shoppers 'wish' existed 'when my breakouts were bad as a teen'

One of Britain's fastest-growing beauty brands has a number of products to leave skin feeling smooth and glowy. Skincare is a top priority for many and almost everyone prioritising their skin health as part of a dedicated beauty regime. Finding the correct products that won't lead to irritation and problems can be difficult and for many it can be a frustrating time. Now however, a beauty revolution has been born in the heart of Yorkshire - perhaps not where everyone would expect. 47 Skin, which has been named one of the UK's fastest-growing privately held businesses by The Sunday Times 100 List, for the second year in a row, now has a number of products which include their unique ingredient - Silver Chitoderm. In 2024 the brand ranked 52nd on the list, and landed at 55th in 2025 - making it a full-circle moment for them as in 2003, founder Nic's father made the very same list. Silver Chitoderm is an ingredient unique to 47 Skin and together the silver and the chitoderm bond create an invisible barrier, killing 99.9% of the bacteria that causes breakouts, the brand explains. The brand's founder Nic explains that he had been suffering from blemishes for over ten years, before a parcel arrived out of the blue from his Grandma. 47 Skin is one of Britain's fastest-growing beauty brands £29 £29 47 Skin Buy Here Product Description He explains: "I'd tried what felt like every single product and treatment under the sun and spent thousands of pounds. Nothing worked. I even resorted to medication which led to a short period of depression. But in January 2017, Grandma sent me a pot of cream through the post with a handwritten note urging me to try it. I was sceptical, but to my complete surprise it cleared my spots and blemishes in just four days.""I was so amazed with the results that I tracked down and partnered with the scientist behind the formulation. Now our mission is to spread the word through our range of incredible products and skin-positive community. At 47 Skin, we understand exactly how spots, blemishes and skin concerns can make you feel from the inside out." Shoppers can try a range of their products such as the Anti-Blemish & Scar Repair Everyday Cleanser for £29, which is used to help promote clearer skin, and leaves skin feeling silky soft and hydrated. Another option is the Anti-Blemish & Scar Repair Silver Mask for £24 which is designed to soothe, brighten and reduce redness and inflammation. There's also a best seller, the Anti-Blemish & Scar Repair Serum for £29, which naturally soothes and protects skin and leaves it feeling soft and hydrated and another product is their Anti-Blemish & Scar Repair Daily Moisturiser for £34 which is a lightweight, oil-free daily moisturiser. However, if this brand isn't for everyone, they could try others such as The Ordinary Essentials Bundle for £28.20 from Boots. This comes with a natural moisturising factors and hyaluronic acid daily moisturiser, a hyaluronic acid 2% and B5 hydrating serum, a squalane cleanser for all skin types and niacinamide 10% + zinc 1% oil control serum. Another option could be the Medik8 Blemish Sos 15ml from LookFantastic for £25 which is a fast-acting gel that dries invisibly and leaves no residue. Shoppers have rated 47 Skin quite highly however as one person, Anna, said in June 2025: 'I love 47 skin and would recommend anyone with blemish prone skin to use it. I wish when my breakouts were bad as a teenager that 47 skin existed honestly." Another named Gioia said: "It's the clearest my skin has looked in over 10 years." Some others did share mixed reviews on Trustpilot however with one person saying: "It's made no difference at all to my skin after a month of using it." "I really tried everything possible.. I tried a few different brands which didn't make much difference, then my friend recommended 47Skin and I absolutely love it! The quality is so good and I notice such a difference in my skin! I used to be so self conscious about going make-up free in summer/at the beach and now I feel so much more confident - definitely recommend!" said Zoe.

Save over £200 on LED face mask that gave shoppers 'their confidence back'

Get salon-worthy facial treatments from home with this LED face mask. One of the most essential tools a beauty fan can have these days is an LED face mask. Offering salon-worthy treatments from home, they can target multiple skincare concerns. The only downside is that they can be a bit on the pricier side, which is why we are always on the lookout for any standout deals worth taking advantage of to help save some precious pennies. Luckily, Debenhams is running a massive sale at the moment, and it has knocked the cost of this Nikki Temple ClearSkin Glow II LED Face Mask by a staggering 68 per cent. Praised in reviews by skincare enthusiasts who say it "gave them their confidence back", it has been slashed from £299.99 to just £96.95, saving shoppers over an impressive £203.04 off the RRP. Said to provide results within just "10 to 20 minutes a day", this adjustable face mask is said to offer a "lightweight" fit, providing seven different LED therapy lights to target concerns that range from anti-ageing to hyperpigmentation. The full list of LED light colours and their functions include: Blue - gets ride of acne by fighting bacteria Red - boosts collagen, firming skin and reducing wrinkles Green - fade pigmentation, evens skin tone and lightens dark spots Yellow and white - revives radiance Cyan and purple - soothes irritation To enhance the benefits, the LED mask is said to pair beautifully with skincare ingredients hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, retinol and niacinamide. Amazon has also become a go-to for deals on the skincare tool, with the LED Light Therapy Facial Mask Beauty Device offering something a touch cheaper at just £71.39. Meanwhile, there are some customers who aren't keen on the full face mask design, which is why the BEAUTYPRO LED Wand 5 in 1 Anti-Ageing Device, priced at £79 at Boots, offers a more convenient shape. As for those keen to bag the Nikki Temple LED Mask, it has a near perfect rating from beauty buffs who say that, after using it, wrinkles are now "less visible" and their skin is "smoother." One enthusiastic shopper said: "Simple to use, gave me my confidence back. I've suffered from breakouts ever since my first pregnancy and until I got this ClearSkin mask a couple of months ago, I didn't think I'd ever get back my smooth, blemish-free cheeks again. "The changes were a bit slow in the first few weeks and I wasn't as consistent, but in the last 4 weeks when I've gone to 4 times a week, it has cleared practically all my spots and I'm feeling more like my old self again. I cannot rate this highly enough, if there were 10 stars I would give it." Beauty deal of the week YSL Black Opium remains an iconic perfume - and we know where to bag the newest edition for its cheapest price. The YSL BLack Opium Le Parfum offers a more vanilla-heavy fragrance that has been hailed as "intoxicating" in reviews, with a 50ml now half-price at Boots after being dropped from £115 to £57.50. Massive saving aside, it's the cheapest it can be bought for at the moment, as rival retailers Superdrug, Lookfantastic and The Perfume Shop still stock it at full-price. This interpretation of the iconic perfume was only launched in 2022, with its original floral gourmand fragrance still offering its famed notes that include pear accord, green mandarin, orange flower petals, jasmine sambac and cinnamon. However, the iconic coffee accord has been twisted with four different, yet still complimentary, notes of vanilla, which is said to be its most important ingredient, to create an "unexpected smoothness, with uncompromising intensity." Meanwhile, the unique glossy bottle that has been crafted from a precious black stone, with its dazzling glitter emblem at the heart, eludes to the luxuriousness of the fragrance contained within. As for the YSL Black Opium Le Parfum, Boots shoppers wanting to take advantage of the half-price discount will be glad to hear it has amassed a 4.7 rating from thousands of customers who say it "lasts all day" and "literally turns heads" when it is worn. One five-star review read: "I love the fragrance. I used a lot the first time, not realising how intense it was. It lasts all day and continues to smell great. I literally turn heads when I wear it." Don't miss Boots' half-price discount on the YSL Black Opium Le Parfum (50ml) that is now £57.50, down from £115. A second skincare fan wrote: "I thought for months which mask to buy and finally decided on the ClearSkin Glow II. My skin is so much smoother and clearer and my wrinkles are much less visible. If you're still wondering which one to get, just get this one. You'll love it." It is worth mentioning that, so far, the product itself does not have any negative reviews, although one customer was unsatisfied with their sale, writing: "I purchased this product and later checked the reviews, which seem fake. The seller appears untrustworthy and is offering the same product without any improvements." Although, someone else pleased with the results added: "Saw a visible glow after 6 sessions. Didn't expect results this fast. I've taken it with me on holiday as I don't want to miss a treatment, it's so good." Someone else impressed with the results added: "I saw the reviews and decided I was going to treat myself to a Clearskin Glow II mask and I'm glad I did. It's done wonders for my spots and I'm feeling much more confident with less foundation on." The Nikki Temple ClearSkin Glow II LED Face Mask can be bought for £96.95, down from £299.99, in the Debenhams sale.
