Nour Returns With Coming-of-Age 80s Pop Single ‘Zay Mana'

Having first risen to prominence in the alternative music scene with her signature take on synthpop, Egyptian artist Nour takes a new approach on her latest offering. Aug 15, 2025 Egyptian artist Nour returns with 'Zay Mana', the first single from her forthcoming debut album. Having first risen to prominence in the alternative music scene with her signature take on synthpop, the singer-songwriter takes a new approach on her latest offering. The track's production blends 80s pop sparkle and Nile Rodgers-style funk guitar riffs with undertones of ABBA-inspired melodic textures, all grounded in punchy modern pop. Despite the different sonic terrain, Nour's signature contemplative and personal songwriting is still present, demonstrating Nour at her most confident. She reflects on her coming-of-age journey, navigating the balance between growth and authenticity. The artwork for 'Zay Mana' is a baby picture of Nour, mirroring the song's themes and serving as a reminder that despite the fame, at her core, she is still the same person she's always been.
