WWE SummerSlam 2025 is the 38th annual event, which is not only a normal wrestling card, but also a two-night run of their top stars. We expect the show's official Kickoff pre‑show to begin on Saturday, August 2, and Sunday, August 3, shortly after midnight, giving fans one last chance to listen to the Superstars before the whole thing goes down on Friday night, August 1.
Held for the first time as a two-night attraction, the weekend spectacle is set to happen at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
What day and time will the Kickoff Show take place
The Kickoff Show is the preshow on a traditional WWE level that takes place on the promotion's official YouTube channel, which allows final promos, interviews, and analysis to hit the fans before the main card blows open. It is expected to stream live on the evening of Friday, August 1 (at around 10 pm BST), which would be Friday evening across most of the U.S.
time zones. WWE has not officially announced the exact times for the entire world, but the Kickoff is usually held about one hour before the main card, acting as the appetizer for the weekend event.

SummerSlam 2025 is set to take place at the MetLife Stadium, which is the home of the NFL's New York Giants and Jets, located in East Rutherford, New Jersey. This state-of-the-art stadium can host an average of approximately 82,500 fans a night.
The Kickoff Show will be free on WWE's digital platforms, while the main two-night premium live event will stream live exclusively on Peacock for viewers in the United States.
And Netflix will telecast the same in more than 30 countries. It is a big transition year in WWE broadcasting for the company as they are growing their streaming audiences worldwide.
The two-night SummerSlam for 2025 is a landmark idea in terms of WWE event planning. It's more or less following the double-header format to allow the WWE to explore the big matches, title shots, and, of course, fan favorites. It all kicks off with the Kickoff Show on Friday, August 1, amping up the action ahead of Night 1 on Saturday and Night 2 on Sunday. Titans hit the road for joint practices and preseason games against Bucs and Falcons
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The Tennessee Titans practiced in Music City on Wednesday morning and then headed out for their longest preseason road trip since the franchise left Texas in 1997. HT Image Second-year coach Brian Callahan scheduled not one, but two sets of joint practices around back-to-back road games starting Thursday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He sees nine nights away from Nashville as a way to create more of an old training camp vibe for a young team. 'That's sort of the intent of the whole trip,' Callahan said. 'Spend some time, get a chance to grow together, and then get to go play against some other teams.' Callahan also wants to hear the reviews from the Buccaneers, then the Atlanta Falcons on what they think of how the Titans compete. He sees this as a chance for a starting point of what the Titans can be this year. 'And get a change to do some things as a team on the road, some events together, things like that,' Callahan said. 'It's something I'm really looking forward to. Can't wait.' The Titans, who went 3-14 in Callahan's debut season, will be away from Nashville for nine straight nights. They won't practice again in Nashville until Aug. 19 before wrapping up the preseason by hosting Minnesota on Aug. 22. After opening this preseason Saturday night against Tampa Bay, the Titans go to Atlanta for two joint practices and a game Aug. 15. Left tackle Dan Moore has had only one joint practice with Pittsburgh, and that was last year. This will be a bit of a new experience, though Moore is familiar to going away to camp with the Steelers a regular at Latrobe, Pennsylvania. 'Obviously, we're on a business trip, but we'll have some free time, some downtime," Moore said. "We'll be in the hotel. Guys can hang out, do stuff together and go places, go eat, whatever. And I think that's a good time for us to just bond as team and build chemistry.' Bonding can only help a franchise that has added 37 free agents, nine drafted rookies and five more players added off waivers through Sunday — a total of 51 players in training camp. Safety Quandre Diggs isn't new after playing eight games for Tennessee last season before going on injured reserve. He signed Tuesday, and the Titans are easing him back into the mix. He recognizes a lot of faces on the roster, including his cousin, rookie quarterback Cam Ward. 'It's different when you walk in the locker room and you see your family, like real family," the three-time Pro Bowl safety said of Ward. "And so it was cool.' Titans defensive coordinator Dennard Wilson has been trying to throw every look possible at Ward to help prep the No. 1 draft pick overall for the season opener Sept. 7 at Denver. Now the Titans will get a glimpse of how other NFL defenses might challenge the rookie. 'He's a grown man to me,' wide receiver Calvin Ridley said of Ward. Giants' defensive line is determined to live up to the hype and high expectations
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — Dexter Lawrence set out to quiet the chatter minutes after the first practice of New York Giants training camp. The veteran defensive tackle had already challenged his fellow players not to listen to the outside noise. HT Image 'They want to talk about our D-line and all this,' Lawrence said, 'but we haven't done anything yet.' Linebacker Brian Burns shared the same thought process a few days later, with a little more profanity tossed in, acknowledging what the formidable front looks like on paper. And while adding No. 3 overall pick Abdul Carter to a group already featuring Lawrence, Burns and Kayvon Thibodeaux has the potential to make this an elite pass rush, those involved are quick to insist they need to prove it first. "Everything looks good with the names that we have and the potential and this and that," Burns said. 'It's all on us. We can take this as far as we want to go.' Teammate Darius Muasau called it 'the best D-line in the NFL right now," which is lofty praise that can get tossed out there in the dog days of summer with camps in full swing and before any meaningful games are played. Even the exhibition season might not be an indication of what the unit can do. That will get tested in September with the gauntlet of opening at NFC East rivals Washington and Dallas and at home against defending AFC champion Kansas City, followed by then Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers. Coach Brian Daboll, among many others, is looking forward to seeing how Lawrence, free agent signing Roy Robertson-Harris, Thibodeaux, Burns and Carter handle hefty expectations. 'Hype doesn't get you anywhere,' Daboll said this week. 'Action does. So, whatever people think or they say, good or bad, the only thing that really matters is how we go about our business and ultimately producing when it matters.' Even tying for the worst record in the league last season at 3-14 — the 30th-ranked offense shouldered a bigger slice of that blame — only seven teams had more sacks than the Giants' 45. Lawrence set a career high with nine, Burns was next with 8 1/2 and Thibodeaux figures he should have had more than 5 1/2 with so many half-sacks part of his total. 'Probably would've been, you guys can do the math, maybe seven or eight if I were to finish those,' Thibodeaux said. 'Just making sure that I get everything I deserve this year.' Burns noticed a positive change in Thibodeaux at some point last season, which has continued into camp. Defensive coordinator Shane Bowen said Wednesday he routinely shows clips of the 2022 No. 5 pick running to the ball as an example to other players. 'K.T. has impressed me about how he handles himself in the building,' Burns said. 'He gets in early (and) he does his thing. All in all, he flipped that switch last year, so I expect big things from K.T." The organization — and bettors — expect big things from Carter, too. He's a heavy favorite at less than 3-1 on BetMGM Sportsbook to be AP Defensive Rookie of the Year after 12 sacks in 16 games in his final college season at Penn State, during which he also led the NCAA's Football Bowl Subdivision in tackles for loss. 'He's going to be put in positions to succeed, and that's just due to the guys we have on the line,' Burns said. 'Me, Dex, K.T., he's going to have 1 on 1s. He's going to have opportunities to show what he can do.' Bowen, going into his second season running New York's defense, is putting the onus on himself and his staff to find ways to get impact players on the field in the correct situations. That might mean Burns, Thibodeaux and Carter all lining up on an obvious passing down to show what they all can do. 'We've got to make sure we do a good job of finding ways to utilize them,' Bowen said. 'To have three guys that can roll and play and do different things for us, it really opens up the creativity for us." After not participating in all of team drills at practice Wednesday, top receiver Malik Nabers said he was fine and called it part of the plan devised by coaches and trainers. Asked if it was about managing his lingering toe injury, the second-year pro said it was about everything. It's unclear how much, if any, Nabers will play in the preseason opener Saturday at Buffalo. With standout left tackle Andrew Thomas still on the physically unable to perform list and rehabbing to return from surgery in October for a Lisfranc injury in his right foot, James Hudson has been filling in that spot with the first-team offense. That is, until midway through practice Wednesday. Hudson left the field with training staff and did not return.
