‘Wednesday' season 2 soundtrack: the tracklisting for Netflix's smash-hit horror-comedy

Time Out2 days ago
Wednesday season 2 is here – the first half, at any rate – with more deliciously dark and spooky shenanigans in the accursed Vermont town of Jericho.
Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega) is back at Nevermore Academy for more lessons of the deeply alarming kind. This time, it's werewolf roomie Enid (Emma Myers) under threat from a mysterious force. There's dark deeds and even darker magic – and that's just the official school syllabus.
The task of soundtracking these dark and dismal goings-on fell to music supervisors Jen Malone and Nicole Weisberg – and the pair have gone big with some knowing, surprising and tonally spot-on new musical choices. 'We took the energy of what we did for Season 1 and opened another door,' says Weisberg. 'So now season 2 feels more expansive musically.'
Look out for tracks from pre-emo alt rockers Sixpence None the Richer, goth rock legends Sisters of Mercy, K-pop girl group Mamamoo, and even classical OGs Mozart, Wagner and Prokofiev. There's also a classic movie cue from Bernard Herrmann's Vertigo score and a couple of zombie-themed bangers to make Pugsley Addams's pet shuffler Slurp feel right at home.
Here's the tracklisting in full for episodes 1-4:

Twice ‘This is For' World Tour

Well-loved K-pop group Twice have just embarked on their sixth world tour starting in July, and they've put both Hong Kong and Macau on their concert schedule. They've just released their This is For album and performed at Lollapalooza Chicago earlier this month, and will soon make their way to our shores. The nine-member girl group will perform at The Venetian Arena in Macau on September 27 and 28, then return to take over the Kai Tak Stadium on December 6. We've heard that they'll be setting up 360-degree stages to remove the traditional barrier between artists and audiences, allowing for a more immersive concert experience. Tickets for Twice's Macau show run from $799 to $2,499, with the VIP package offering access to the pre-show soundcheck, a VIP laminate and lanyard, a postcard set, and an exclusive merch lane. The Live Nation pre-sale starts on August 14 while general sales open on August 15. Keep an eye out for Hong Kong ticketing details further down the line.

Walmart announces major store shakeup set to transform how customers shop

Walmart is taking its show on the road — literally — with a fleet of new mobile stores. The mobile pop-up stores on wheels will be rolling into parks, festivals, and concerts across America and are designed to appeal to Gen Z. Dubbed 'your FYP on wheels,' the pop-up trucks feature Gen Z-friendly themes like Rodeo Dream, K-Pop Era, and Nature Break. It is a nod to TikTok's 'For You Page' (FYP), the first screen users see when they open the app, filled with algorithm-curated videos tailored to their tastes. Inside, shoppers will find giveaways, merch, photo ops, and immersive experiences designed to go viral — while promoting Walmart's brand as younger, cooler, and social media–savvy. The trucks will crisscross the country now through November, popping up at festivals, marathons, parks, and major events in cities including Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston, and New York. Scroll down to see the full list. 'Walmart is hitting the road with a fleet of head-turning delivery trucks, packed with experiences to level up what you love,' the chain said in. 'Whatever you're into — we get it, we have it, and we can deliver it. Who knew?' they added. Walmart, the biggest retailer in the US, has been pushing hard into the e-commerce space, even directly competing with Amazon during its Prime Day sales event this year. Thanks to its aggressive push — including running its event for almost a week and extending its discounts in-store — Walmart outperformed Amazon across several key metrics. Spending on soared 24 percent compared to 2024, Bloomberg data showed — six times faster than Prime Day's year‑over‑year growth. Web traffic told a similar story, with Walmart surging 14 percent while Amazon stayed flat, according to Similarweb. However, some of Walmart's digitization efforts have been met with pushback from the brand's loyal customers. Electronic shelf labels — tiny digital price tags that can change in real time — have become particularly unpopular. The technology is designed to save staff time, reduce paper waste, and allow for easier inventory updates but customers fear sneaky price hikes and vanishing deals. Sam's Club, Walmart's membership discount stores, rolled out AI-powered 'Scan & Go' tech earlier this year. The trucks will stop at major music events, marathon festivals and parks across the country The scanners allow shoppers skip the line and walk straight out the door once they're done shopping. The move is controversial because it uses a network of cameras and sensors to track shoppers and their carts. In addition, the checkout-free experience requires all customers to use a smartphone and download the store's app. This could pose a challenge to older shoppers who may struggle with technology.
