A recent Florida accident involving a Porsche 911 GT3 RS has raised new concerns regarding the dangers of abusing high-performance vehicles. The accident, which was caught on video, underscores the need for heightened driver vigilance when operating powerful sports cars on public roads.
The accident happened on a public road during an attempt at a burnout. The driver, operating a red-wheeled grey Porsche 911 GT3 RS, appeared to have the car under control when the vehicle accelerated into an S-turn. Once the vehicle entered the second turn, however, the car lost traction.
The rear of the car swung out — a hallmark characteristic of 911s under aggressive driving. The driver overcorrected, sending the car off course. In spite of indications that steering input had decreased, the car continued to maintain throttle, ultimately mounting a curb and hitting a tree. Damage and Immediate Aftermath
The collision resulted in the deployment of the car's airbags. The front left suspension and wheel appeared to have taken a bad hit, with the front bumper and fender clearly damaged. The remainder of the car, including the hood, appeared relatively intact on the exterior.
There were no initial reports of severe injury to the driver. Still, there are fears about potential structural damage to the frame of the car, which may complicate repairs. Safety Considerations
The Porsche 911 GT3 RS, costing over $240,000, is associated with being a high performance and driver-involved machine. The accident highlights how quickly things can go wrong if a driver underestimates the power or dynamics of the car.

Though the airbags likely reduced the risk of severe physical injury, the crash is also a reminder that even modern safety features have their limitations when errors happen at speed.
Though performance vehicles still deliver increased speed and accuracy, such accidents underscore the importance of defensive driving. Natural ability cannot always be trusted to safely operate high power-to-weight ratio vehicles, especially outside controlled environments such as racing circuits.

Meet youngest Indian to own Rolls Royce Black Badge worth Rs...., not Isha Ambani, Akash Ambani, Anant Ambani, his father is.... Parents often gift their kids cars and bikes as per their budget. But when billionaires follow the same trend, the price of these vehicles touches crores. Similarly, Chairman of UAE-based ANAX Holding, Satish Sanpal, decided to gift a car to his son. For this, he chose a rare and one of the most expensive Rolls-Royces. Sanpal gifted a Rolls-Royce Cullinan Black Badge. Satish Sanpal is of Indian origin and lives in the UAE with his family. After getting the massively expensive gift from his dad, Lakshya Sanpal has become one of the youngest persons in the entire UAE to own a 2025 Cullinan Black Badge. The video of the white RR Cullinan was shared by Sanpal on his Instagram page and has gone viral. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Satish Sanpal (@ Lakshya recently received his new white SUV. A short video of the delivery ceremony, shared by Sanpal himself, shows him receiving the car keys. After receiving the RR, father and son duo checked it out. In the clip, Lakshya is seen sitting on the rear seat while the driver takes the expensive RR out of the dealership. The video features a higher-performance and more luxurious variant of the Rolls-Royce Cullinan Black Badge as compared to the standard Cullinan SUV. The Series II model has subtle exterior styling updates for a sportier appearance compared to its predecessor. SUV hits man, flinging him into drain in Noida; police launch probe as video goes viral

A Mahindra Thar SUV rammed into a man, sending him flying into a roadside drain in Noida's Sector 53 on Monday, the police said Tuesday, adding that they have registered a case and are trying to trace the accused. The incident, a video of which has gone viral, appeared to be the fallout of an online spat. 'On Monday, a scuffle occurred between two groups near Sector 53, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Sector 24 police station,' said Sumit Kumar Shukla, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP), Noida. 'A video also went viral in which one party rammed the other with their vehicle. When we investigated, we found that the dispute between the two parties happened over some comments on Instagram,' the ADCP stated. Both groups are familiar with each other, he said. In a purported video of the incident, a man who is bleeding through his nose can be seen walking alone on the streets when a black Thar hits him from behind and sends him flying into the empty drain. The man, identified as Saurabh, 24, said he had gone to meet a friend in Noida along with his younger brother. 'My friend had called me saying that a group of men had been misbehaving with him. When we reached there, I realised that these were the same men who had earlier filed a case against us which was quashed over lack of evidence.' 'They soon started attacking us with sticks, rods and knives. They hit me with the Thar twice,' he alleged. The Sector 24 police have registered a case for rash driving, causing hurt, and criminal intimidation. 'We have sent the injured people for a medical examination and have formed three teams to nab the accused and take the vehicle into possession,' Shukla said. The police are trying to identify the accused and arrests will be made soon, the ADCP added. Neetika Jha is a trainee reporter with The Indian Express, Delhi. Antonio Felix Da Costa counting positives as he finishes third at Shanghai E-Prix: 'It was all about bringing the podium home'

Image credit: Antonio Felix Da Costa/Instagram Antonio Felix Da Costa, who won the last Formula E race in Shanghai, made sure he didn't go home empty-handed this time. The TAG Heuer Porsche driver was pleased to finish third on the podium at the Shanghai E-Prix and also expressed happiness for winner Nick Cassidy of Jaguar TCS Racing. Da Costa wasn't the only member of his team to reach the podium—he was joined by teammate Pascal Wehrlein, who secured second place. Antonio Da Costa on finishing third in Shanghai Sharing his experience after the race, Da Costa said, 'It was very hard from inside the car. I felt like my balance wasn't quite there and I really struggled with my rears, so it wasn't enjoyable and it was very hard to keep the car on track. I was slow to be honest, but good enough for a podium – two cars from the team are on the podium so that's always positive.' Talking about his third-place finish, he added, 'I'm happy for Nick [Cassidy], he did a really good job, but we've got good points. Starting second and finishing third is not ideal – in the beginning I thought we had something, but then it was clear to me that I didn't have the pace of the two cars in front, so it was all about bringing the podium home.' Antonio now stands third in the 2025 Formula E Driver Standings with 88 points. Taking to Instagram after the race, Antonio Felix Da Costa shared a picture of himself spraying champagne from the podium. He wrote along with it, 'Today we got a podium. P3 on a very rainy day. We keep fighting. Thanks guys.' Many congratulated him in the comments section. One fan wrote in his praise, 'You drive great and make Portugal proud beyond its borders. You will win the championship. I believe in you. Go for it.' Another said, 'A weekend where I can see your smile. Thank you too.' One more added, 'Let's go.'
