Kuwait Olympic Committee celebrates ‘Blue Gymnastics'
Sheikh Mubarak Faisal Al-Nawaf Al-Sabah, Vice President of the Kuwait Olympic Committee, praised the 'great results achieved by the Kuwaiti team in this international forum', stressing the committee's support for national teams and federations.
Sheikh Mubarak Al-Faisal thanked the parents of the male and female players for their support, wishing more success for the heroes and heroines of the team in order to make more achievements and raise the name of Kuwait in all international forums.
President of the Kuwait Gymnastics Federation, Fahad Al-Soula, thanked the President and members of the Kuwait Olympic Committee for their support of the Federation and its members, and thanked Sheikh Mubarak Al-Faisal for the good reception and welcome. He stressed that the Federation continues to develop the game and prepare and build national teams capable of competing and making achievements in the name of Kuwait in the sport of gymnastics with its technical and rhythmic sections, praising in this regard the support of parents of male and female players and their constant cooperation with the work of the Federation.
Hessa Al-Sanea, member of the Board of Directors of the Federation and head of the Women's Committee, expressed her deep thanks and appreciation to the Olympic Committee for its interest in the heroes and heroines of the team and the wonderful achievement in the West Asian Championship, stressing that this achievement was not achieved easily but after great preparation and double efforts from the players, and great support and encouragement from their parents.
Assistant Secretary of the Federation, Thaar Al-Shammari, appreciated the keenness of the Olympic Committee represented by Vice President Sheikh Mubarak Al-Faisal to receive and celebrate the team's delegation, stressing that this gesture encourages the players to exert more effort and give to continue making achievements in the name of Kuwait.

Ahmad Hayel joins Al-Arabi camp in Abu Dhabi
ABU DHABI, July 26: Al-Arabi has officially kicked off its overseas training camp in Abu Dhabi, UAE, ahead of a crucial phase in its season preparations. Kuwait takes on UAE as the Arab Basketball Championship begins in Bahrain
MANAMA, July 24: Kuwait will tip off its campaign in the 26th Arab Basketball Championship this evening with a match against the UAE national team at 6:00 pm, as part of the first round of the tournament currently being hosted in Bahrain until August 2. The opening day will also feature two other matches: Tunisia vs Algeria at 4:00 pm, and host Bahrain plays Qatar at 8:00 pm. A total of seven teams are competing for the title: UAE, Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria, Bahrain, Qatar, and Kuwait. The competition will follow a single round-robin format, with all teams facing each other once. The team with the highest points at the end will be crowned champion. All matches are being held at Khalifa Sports City Hall. As part of its preparation, the Kuwaiti team held an external training camp in Turkey, where it played three friendlies against Algeria, Saudi Arabia, and Azerbaijan. The team is led by Serbian head coach Oliver Kostić and assistant coach Khaled Al-Qallaf. Coach Kostić described the tournament as a valuable opportunity for the squad's young players, many of whom are experiencing their first major international competition. 'We played several friendly matches in the Istanbul camp, which helped create harmony among the players,' Kostić said upon arriving in Bahrain.
