Wednesday fans 'rumble' real villain in part two and it's not who you think
*Warning: Contains spoilers for Wednesday season 2*
Wednesday devotees are convinced they've cracked a massive "red herring" and are utterly convinced they've sussed out the 'real villain'.
Following an agonising wait, Wednesday season 2 finally hit our screens this month, though in typical Netflix style, viewers will need to hang on a bit longer for part two following a jaw-dropping cliff-hanger. At the end of the opening instalment, audiences witnessed Tyler Galpin (Hunter Doohan) morphing into the Hyde before brutally slaying his master Laurel Gates AKA Miss Thornhill (Christina Ricci).
He subsequently lunged at Wednesday (Jenna Ortega), with viewers then seeing her hurled savagely through the window onto the pavement beneath, reports the Express. However, with Tyler now free, devotees are adamant they've identified the genuine antagonist - and it's not the Hyde.
Flocking to Reddit, fans are buzzing about Isadora Capri (Billie Piper). One devotee remarked: "She's too eager to cultivate a connection with Weds and I don't buy her reason for being at the Asylum."
Another theorised she might actually be Morticia's sibling, whilst one person reckoned she'll prove to be a "villain of some sort". A third fan penned: "She's definitely controlling things with her music."
A fourth supporter speculated: "I think that Isadora Capri might be Tyler's master all along. Thornhill was just a pawn to a bigger setup. Tyler's mom was unlocked as a Hyde through music at the opera, right?
"And Isadora is a musician where she can manipulate her surroundings with music and Shockwaves. She unlocked Tyler's and let thornhill play with him and exact her revenge while she put together a bigger game."
The second part of the trailer has certainly left fans on tenterhooks, with every scene being analysed as viewers try to decipher what will unfold. However, they'll have to hold their breath until 3 September.
On Reddit, one fan speculated about Isadora: "Her conversation in the first episode with Wednesday, and how she spoke about Prokofiev, a famous musician who was also a chess master, indirectly hints at her planning and moving the pieces."
Yet, some believe that Isadora, along with Tyler, might just be a "red herring", and the real villain is still lurking in the shadows.
But fans will have to wait a few more weeks to find out.

Jamie Foxx has rare night out with on–off girlfriend Alyce Huckstepp... months after they split
Jamie Foxx was seen enjoying a rare night out with his on-and-off girlfriend Alyce Huckstepp, as well as his teenage daughter Anelise, in Los Angeles on Saturday. The 57-year-old actor — who recently joined his children at the lavish Summer Gala in St. Tropez — flashed a cheerful smile as he headed to dinner with the group. The Django Unchained star was stylishly casual in a black-and-white patterned shirt, as well as ripped black trousers. He paired the look with a pair of white sneakers and added a bizarrely tall cream-colored domed hat with a wide brim. Jamie completed the look for the evening with flashy silver necklaces as well as fashionable shades. At one point, the Hollywood actor could be seen holding hands with Alyce, whom he reportedly split from earlier this year in January. At one point, the Hollywood actor could be seen holdings hands with Alyce - whom he reportedly split from earlier this year in January She sported a glittering silver bralette top from Dolce & Gabbana and layered a sheer black cropped shirt on top. Alyce completed her ensemble by donning a pair of fitted black pants with heels and carried a small purse in her left hand. Her locks were pulled away from her face and styled into a high ponytail for a finishing touch. Jamie's youngest daughter Anelise also accompanied her famous dad for the night out, and she was joined by a few of her close pals. The comedian shares the 16-year-old with ex Kristin Grannis, while he shares his oldest daughter Corinne, 31, with Connie Kline. Jamie has been publicly linked to Alyce since 2023, but in January it was reported that they had gone their separate ways. A source told People at the time that the pair had called it quits after dating for a year and a half. The breakup reportedly happened after Jamie came under fire for a comic song in his Netflix special What Had Happened Was in which he sang that he had been 'cured' of white women. While it is not known when the pair sparked up a romance, Alyce had notably attended the premiere of his film Day Shift in 2022 (seen above right) - one year before they went public with their relationship 'Sisters, I'm here to tell you, I've been cured,' the Ray star sang from behind a piano. 'I've been cured of everything, no more white girls. I'm serious, no more white girls. No more white girls. No more. No more white girls.' As audience members applauded and leapt out their seats, Jamie continued: 'I'm back on the Black side of town! 'No more white girls. No more potato salad and raisins. No more white girls. No more spray tan, no more big t***ies no a**, no more white girls.' Several viewers were outraged by the song, which they claimed was racist, though there's no indication that it represents Foxx's true feelings or that it was anything more than a comedy sketch. While it is not known when Foxx and Alyce sparked up a romance, she notably attended the premiere of his film Day Shift in 2022 — one year before they went public with their relationship. Jamie and Alyce were first seen together in August 2023 as they grabbed dinner at Nobu in Malibu. Later that same year, the pair whisked themselves away for a relaxing trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The on-and-off couple were spotted on various other occasions, such as in 2024, when they enjoyed a beach getaway together. And in January of this year, the pair reportedly went their separate ways. However a few months later in April, Jamie and Alyce were seen reuniting at Nobu in Malibu. After grabbing dinner, the pair were spotted standing outside of the celebrity hotspot as they waited at the valet. The actor showed something on his phone to the blonde beauty which prompted her to laugh, but the two ended up leaving in separate cars. While both Jamie and Alyce have yet to publicly comment on the status of their relationship, the comedian has been keeping busy. Late in July, the actor was accompanied by his daughters Corinne and Anelise at the Summer Gala event in St. Tropez, France. The star kept it casual in a white button-up and matching white linen suit. Jamie held a big smile on his face as he paused for a brief photo session on the red carpet with his children. The actor reflected on his health scare in April 2023 when he suffered a brain bleed and stroke while filming the Netflix movie Back In Action; seen in June in LA The comedian was seen speaking on stage during the star-studded festivities and at one point mingled with other stars such Christian Louboutin, Leonardo DiCaprio and his girlfriend Vittoria Ceretti. One month earlier, Jamie became emotional at the 2025 BET Awards in June as he accepted the Ultimate Icon Award. The actor reflected on his health scare in April 2023 when he suffered a brain bleed and stroke while filming the Netflix movie Back In Action. 'I gotta be honest — when I saw the "in memoriam" [portion of the awards show], I was like, man, that could have been me,' the actor admitted to the audience. 'But I don't know why I went through what I went through, but I know my second chance I'm not going turn down. I'm not going to turn down.' He also gave a special shout out to his sister Deidra as well as his eldest daughter Corinne. 'I cannot say enough about you. You've always taken the backseat to everything. But when you needed to drive it, you drove. And you made sure I was here. And I ain't going to turn down.' Jamie also shared a message to Anelise and gushed, 'My baby with the big hair. She hides under that hair because she's got something special.

Dame Helen Mirren: I am such a feminist, but James Bond has to be a guy
The Oscar-winning actress told Saga Magazine: 'I'm such a feminist, but James Bond has to be a guy. You can't have a woman. It just doesn't work. 'James Bond has to be James Bond, otherwise it becomes something else.' Dame Helen Mirren stars in the new Thursday Murder Club film (Jordan Pettitt/PA) Dame Helen, 80, stars alongside former 007 actor Pierce Brosnan in the new Thursday Murder Club film, a cosy crime drama adapted from the best-selling book by game show host Richard Osman. Brosnan, 72, agreed with the actress about the next portrayal of Bond and told the magazine: 'Oh, I think it has to be a man.' He added: 'I wish (Amazon) them well. I'm so excited to see the next man come on the stage and to see a whole new exuberance and life for this character. 'I adore the world of James Bond. It's been very good to me. It's the gift that keeps giving. 'And I'm just a member of the audience now, sitting back, saying: 'Show us what you're going to do'.' Dame Helen previously told the Standard that 'the whole concept of James Bond is drenched and born out of profound sexism' and added: 'Women have always been a major and incredibly important part of the Secret Service, they always have been.' In the forthcoming Thursday Murder Club film, the veteran actress plays a retired spy, who is also the founder and leader of the club. Speaking about her character Elizabeth, she told Saga: 'So many women have worked in that world. She's a manifestation of a reality, that's for sure.' Pierce Brosnan and Dame Helen Mirren on the cover of Saga Magazine (Saga Magazine/Giles Keyte/Netflix/PA) Asked if she is a better portrayal of a spy than Bond, Dame Helen said: 'More realistic. But not so much fun as Bond!' She added: 'The great thing about a movie like this is that it reminds everyone, as an older person I have a brain, I have agency, energy, commitment, passion and intellect. It doesn't all stop when you're 40.' Brosnan said the movie, directed by Harry Potter director Chris Columbus, would also appeal to anyone who likes the film series about wizardry and added: 'This is like a Harry Potter retirement home.' The film, which lands on Netflix on August 28, follows a crime-busting group of retirees, played by Oscar-winning actress Dame Helen, Mamma Mia! star Brosnan, Calendar Girls actress Celia Imrie and Gandhi star Sir Ben Kingsley. Former James Bond Pierce Brosnan joins co-star Helen Mirren's calls to ensure new 007 is a man following fears the iconic franchise was being taken over by 'woke' Hollywood
Former James Bond star Pierce Brosnan has joined Helen Mirren 's calls for the new 007 to be male, following Amazon's £770M takeover of the iconic franchise. The actor, 72, who starred as the secret agent between in four films 1995 to 2002, said he was excited to see the 'next man' that will replace Daniel Craig. Meanwhile Helen, 80, who appears alongside him in the new Netflix mystery The Thursday Murder Club, said Bond could never be a woman. She told SAGA: 'I'm such a feminist, but James Bond has to be a guy. You can't have a woman. It just doesn't work. James Bond has to be James Bond, otherwise it becomes something else.' While Pierce said: 'I'm so excited to see the next man come on the stage and to see a whole new exuberance and life for this character. I adore the world of James Bond '. 'It's been very good to me. It's the gift that keeps giving. And I'm just a member of the audience now, sitting back, saying: 'Show us what you're going to do'. Oscar winning Helen previously slammed the James Bond franchise, despite her deep admiration for the actors who have played the character. She told The Standard earlier this year:'I have to say I was never a great ward [of Bond], I'm a huge fan of Pierce Brosnan '. 'He also happens to be one of the nicest people you'll ever have the pleasure to work with,' she continued. 'And indeed Daniel Craig, who I've met and know a little bit. Again, a very lovely gracious person.' But while she holds Pierce and Daniel in high regard, Helen has little affection for the Bond franchise itself. 'The whole series of James Bond was actually not my thing, It really wasn't. I never liked James Bond. I never liked the way women were in James Bond.' She also said she was 'opposed' to a female 007: 'The whole concept of James Bond is drenched and born out of profound sexism.' Helen went on to insist espionage stories centered on real-life women deserve the spotlight. 'Women have always been a major and incredibly important part of the Secret Service, they always have been,' she explained. 'And very brave. If you hear about what women did in the French Resistance, they're amazingly, unbelievably courageous. 'So I would tell real stories about extraordinary women who've worked in that world.' It comes following The Mail On Sunday's reporting that 007 will remain a man and will still be British or from the Commonwealth. Fans of 007 feared Amazon Studios – owned by billionaire Jeff Bezos – would corrupt the British super spy after buying the Bond franchise and rights for £770 million from Bond stewards Barbara Broccoli and Michael G Wilson. But a source said: 'There have been so many erroneous rumours about the future of Bond. Amazon is committed to keeping the spirit of Bond alive and that means he has to be British or from the Commonwealth – and he has to be male.' Ms Broccoli and Mr Wilson have fiercely protected the image of the British hero since taking over Eon Productions, the UK company behind previous Bond films, in 1995. Ms Broccoli is said to have insisted on Bond remaining British before agreeing to sell. Eon was founded by her father and Mr Wilson's stepfather, Albert 'Cubby' Broccoli, who bought the film rights to the martini-sipping, womanising spy from Bond creator Ian Fleming in 1961. There have since been 25 Bond films, starting with 1962's Dr No. But last month Ms Broccoli, 64, and Mr Wilson, 83, announced they had sold all creative rights to Amazon, headed by bald-headed Mr Bezos, who some fans compare to a Bond villain. Fans complained Amazon's plans to develop spin-off shows including one focusing on the early days of 007's secretary Miss Moneypenny would ruin the franchise. And they feared Amazon would try to 'wokeify' Bond. But last night an Amazon insider said: 'Jeff is a massive Bond fan and while he's excited to see how Amazon can take the franchise forward there are certain things which are sacrosanct. That's why the memo went out this week, to reassure everyone. 'But certain things are up for discussion, like whether the next Bond should be played by a man of colour.' The last Bond film was 2021's No Time To Die, starring Daniel Craig and Lea Seydoux.
