Product Description
The kit makes it easy to follow Medik8's CSA philosophy, applying vitamin c every morning followed by sunscreen, vitamin a every night for youthful-looking skin and using a radiant cleanser for smoothing and brightening results.
Medik8 claim the kit addresses 90% of anti-ageing skincare concerns and it's a great way to streamline a skincare routine.
Proving just how hardworking the Medik8 kit is, 42 reviewers have rated it an overall score of five out of five. One person said that after 'two weeks' of use, their skin looked 'well-groomed' and more 'elastic'.
A second customer wrote: "I started using the Medik8 around 3 weeks ago. Have already seen a vast improvement in my skin. Wrinkles are fading and my acne has calmed down."
And a third person was particularly enamoured with the serum, sharing: "These are all great products - they work, and they feel luxurious to use. I particularly love the vitamin C serum - it feels like a treat and smells gorgeous. The C-Tetra Serum works to visibly brighten uneven skin tone and reduce the look of fine lines and wrinkles, while remaining gentle on sensitive skin.
Elizabeth Arden is another highly rated anti-ageing skincare brand and Boots have slashed the price of their Retinol Renewal Gift Set by £25.67. Typically retailing for £77, it is now on sale for £51.33 and includes a hydrating Retinol + HPR Ceramide Water Cream, a Retinol Ceramide Line Erasing Eye Cream and the iconic Retinol + HPR Ceramide Capsules.
Saying they have seen 'fantastic results' from the Medik8 kit, someone else has explained: "Face wash leaves the skin very smooth and not tight. Vit C is absorbed into the skin beautifully, and my skin looks brighter. SPF moisturiser sinks in well, not drying or chalky. Retinol sinks in well, no pilling with oil or night cream on top, no irritation. A great kit. Results are fantastic my skin is brighter, colour more even, smoother, softer and firmer."
But this wasn't the case for three star reviewer, that left a comment saying: "Overall ok with products but not seen any improvement to date. The cleanser is very drying and it says use morning and night which is way too much! Was then advised to use once a week which should have been clearer from the outset. I don't have sensitive skin either. Instructions not clear."
Paula's Choice Anti-Ageing Foaming Cleanser is £27 and shoppers call it their 'favourite' as it 'completely removes my make up without leaving my skin tight and dry.' They also say it 'reduces the appearance of my fine lines, plumps out my skin and leaves me with an ageless look' .
A shopper aged 60+ explained how they haven't delayed in purchasing now the Medik8 Retinol Kit is £80, writing: "I love all Medik8 products so grabbed this kit when it was on offer. Great value and all the products are top quality."

Boots' latest Clinique deal will save you over £112 on your favourite viral beauty products
Clinique is one of those high end brands we all love but sometimes can't justify purchasing unless they have a sale on. There are several Clinique beauty faves which are many customers everyday go-to products and all of which are available in one gift set from Boots for £48, saving you a massive £112. Boots have called the Clinique Hydrate, Protect and Glow Beauty Gift, "Your simple routine for a glowing, fresh-faced look." The four piece set includes all of the brands viral products. You can find more of our bargain deals and shopping recommendations here. This includes a full-size Moisture Surge 100H Auto-Replenishing Hydrator (30ml), a full-size Superdefense City Block SPF 50 Daily Energy + Face Protector (40ml), a full-size High Impact Mascara in Black (7g) and an Almost Lipstick in Black Honey (1.2g). You receive three full size products in the beauty kit and can be incorporated in to your daily beauty routine, or perhaps a staple to keep in your handbag. Alternatively, Sephora offer a similar Clinique gift set which includes the Moisture Surge moisturiser and a About Eyes Serum De-Puffing Massage for a reasonable £28. Another option includes the Clinique Hydrate & Illuminate Beauty Gift Set, which is worth £81.50, but is just £33.75 on Look Fantastic. It includes a full-sized Moisture Surge™ 100H Auto-Replenishing Hydrator, a full-sized Even Better™ Light Reflecting Primer and a full-Sized Almost Lipstick in 'Pink Honey. Back to Boots' , there aren't many reviews of the product yet as it's still a relatively new option. Although, one reviewer did say: "Really lovely collection of useful handbag sized products. No useless items that never get used." Reviews for Clinique's Moisture Surge include: "I have used Clinique Moisture Surge for several years it's great for your skin especially at this time of year it keeps it well hydrated. I use quite a few Clinique products and would not use anything else always happy with them." However, one reviewer doesn't like the feeling of the moisturiser under make-up. They said: "I like this moisturiser a lot but when it's under makeup it sits really badly - I noticed my makeup would peel off and my foundation would look awful. If you're not planning to use under makeup its fine, but quite expensive." Customers have also raved about the Clinique Black Honey lipstick, saying that it's "so easy to swipe on, moisturising, sheer wash of colour which can be built up but still never looks too much." One customer described the Clinique High Impact Mascara as the "best mascara I have ever used," and another said the Clinique Superdefense City Block SPF50 Daily Energy + Face Protector"gives a nice finish and glow to my skin while protecting it."

'Effective and easy to use' LED mask has been slashed to under £57 in summer sale
Magnitone's LED mask has three colour settings and has been hailed 'effective and easy to use' by shoppers – and it's now on sale with 25% off, making it less than £57 If there's one skincare item that's become as commonplace in our routines as a good cleanser or moisturiser, it's an LED face mask. Once saved for pricey professional facials, there are now plenty of affordable at-home options to buy, with each one promising glowy, plumped and youthful skin with minimal effort from the comfort of your own home. Although there are definitely pricier options available, if you're looking for something that's affordable, easy to use and gets the job done, the Magnitone Get Lit Tri Colour Led Face Mask has been a firm favourite amongst LookFantastic shoppers. Plus, it's currently on sale with 25% off, slashing the price from £75 to £56.25. The Magnitone LED mask has three different LED light settings, with red, yellow and blue lights to choose from. These three target a range of different skin concerns, leaving your skin glowing, plumped and supple. The red light supports the skin's visible firmness and can reduce the appearance of fine lines. The yellow light reduces the look of redness and inflammation. The blue light targets oil producing follicles, making them less active and decongesting the skin to minimise visible post-blemish marks. If you want a greater choice of colours, the Silk'n Facial LED Mask 100 LEDS also has a major saving at LookFantastic now, with the price reduced from £160 to £99.99, saving you £60. As well as red, yellow and blue lights, it also has a purple setting which combines the effects of blue and red light as well as firming up your skin. You can also set it to automatic mode which uses all of the colours for a complete treatment, whilst manual mode selects one specific colour, allowing you to choose a targeted programme for your specific skin needs. The mask has a silicone design that sits closely on your face. If you're most worried about fine lines and anti-ageing, the LED Red Light Therapy Face Mask: Series 2 is a celebrity favourite amongst stars like Kim Kardashian and Victoria Beckham. Priced at £399, it's considerably pricier than the Magnitone one, but with such a famous fan base it's easy to see why it's a top choice for many. However if you're not a fan of the heavier silicone designs which sit close to your face, the Magnitone Get Lit Tri Colour Led Face Mask is ideal as it fits over your face like a pair of glasses would, sitting on your ears to hold it in place. The mask then sits in front of your face which is perfect if you find close fitting ones a little uncomfortable or claustrophobic. This also makes it easy to go about your day whilst you're waiting for your LED treatment to be done, whether you're lying back and relaxing or getting on with some household jobs. It only takes 15 minutes for your treatment to be complete, and the mask automatically shuts off once it's done so you don't need to worry about overdoing it. One shopper called it 'Effective and easy to use' before adding: 'I noticed a difference right after I used the 'Radiance' light colour. Hopefully the red will work long term. Love that it is portable and mess free.' Another wrote: 'I actually bought this version because I wanted one that I could use whilst pottering around the house! I already owned a version that was a lot more expensive but you cant really walk around whilst using it! This one has 3 colour options - it's very light weight compared to others I own. Think it's a good option if you want to try this sort of treatment without a big price tag! Happy I bought it!' Not everyone was as thrilled with the Magnitone Get Lit Tri Colour Led Face Mask, however, with one saying: 'Not very comfortable around the nose, leaves marks. I have a small face but it doesn't feel that my cheeks get enough of light. Didn't seem any difference for my wrinkles but blemishes heal quicker when using the red setting of the mask. Overall I like to put on the mask and just take time for myself.' Whilst someone else grumbled: 'Didn't see results I think it is not strong enough and doesn't touch the face.' However plenty of others loved it, writing: 'I love this face mask. I've had it for over a year now and whilst I don't use it consistently all the time, when I do I really do notice a difference. I tend to use the yellow and red light settings as I want to improve on my fine lines and wrinkles (red light) and add more luminosity to my ageing skin (yellow light). Well done magnitone. Such an affordable LED mask option.'

Shoppers rave about Medik8's daily facial cream hailed 'best moisturiser ever'
Medik8 ranks amongst the leading skincare brands on the market, catering to all skin types and needs. The Total Moisture Daily Facial Cream sits amongst its bestsellers, making it a perfect choice for a summer skincare routine. You can find more of our beauty recommendations here. At £48, this deeply hydrating formula offers moisture for up to 100 hours whilst feeling lightweight on the skin. You can buy it from the Medik8 website, however customers can also buy it from Space NK and Cult Beauty. The cream suits both morning and evening use, delivering a refreshed, smooth and glowing complexion. If you're mad about skin care, you can find beauty writer, Lucy Addicott's SPF recommendation here. Medik8's face cream also bolsters the skin barrier and microbiome, which are vital elements of healthy skin. They suggest, that for enhanced effects, combine it with the £59 C-Tetra Luxe from Medik8. The moisturiser holds a 4.9 rating from 1,594 reviews. One thrilled shopper said: "My skin has been transformed, it really works on the deeper layers. My skin looks and feels softer, more supple and so plump.", reports the Mirror. Another wrote: "My skin has never been so hydrated and I've had so many compliments on my complexion. I highly recommend this one for everyday!". A third buyer observed: "I can confidently say it's one of the best moisturisers I've ever tried, the texture is rich yet lightweight, absorbing beautifully into the skin without feeling greasy or heavy. It provides intense hydration while leaving my skin feeling soft, smooth, and perfectly balanced." There has been very little criticism of the product, but some were left disappointed by the results: "A few days after of use day and night I didn't feel my skin more hydrated and actually felt the product wasn't really absorbing and was rather just sitting on top of it. It is also quite sticky in my opinion." As an alternative, you might consider the Clinique Moisture Surge 100H Auto-Replenishing Hydrator, available for £42 at Boots. Loaded with a blend of vitamins C and E, it works to fight daily moisture-draining factors. The product boasts a 4.7 rating from 789 reviews. "My skin has never felt so soft and hydrated, and the softness lasts all day," remarked one buyer. For a more wallet-friendly choice, there's the Vichy Mineral 89 100H Rich Cream. Currently £19.60 at LookFantastic, it pledges to provide up to 100 hours of skin-nourishing hydration whilst visibly plumping, smoothing and brightening. More than 120 reviewers have given it an average rating of 4.6: "It has a rich creamy texture but is absorbed really quickly when applied so does not leave your skin feeling sticky. It irons out the fine lines around my eyes and leaves my face feeling constantly hydrated."
