Although the video is yet to be officially released, singer Sam shared a brief clip of it on his Instagram page.
In a black and white shot, Owen can be seen surveying the landscape, with a blanket wrapped around his shoulders.
Sam captioned his post: "I get a little bit closer", seemingly referencing the song's title.
Adolescence director Philip Barantini, also worked on this video, and will be well aware of Owen's talent, following his star turn as Jamie Miller in the show.
The series was co-created by Stephen Graham, who also plays Jamie's dad Eddie.
The harrowing drama, is one of Netflix's most successful British dramas and has clocked up 114.5M views on the streaming platform.
Hollywood star Brad Pitt's production company - Plan B Entertainment - is said to be in talks about a potential second season of Adolescence following its huge success.
According to Deadline, Plan B co-presidents Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner are liaising with director Barantini.
It's thought they are speaking about how they can "widen the aperture, stay true to its DNA [and] not be repetitive".
The four-part limited series, co-starring Top Boy 's Ashley Walters, became a surprise hit for the streaming giant when it launched last month.

Dede Gardner said: 'Phil's style of doing the episodes in one take is not a gimmick. It's very much in conversation with the subject matter.
"In early conversations with Stephen and Jack, they were talking about how it's too easy to look away. You can look away from the school, you can look away from the police station, you can look away from the counselling, you can look away from the family.
"In that kind of prismatic way of viewing, you can duck the issue. So our theory was, what would happen if you couldn't look away? And will that make the subject embed in you in a different way? That was a thrilling thing.'
While Kleiner said Fight Club star Brad was "blown away" by the original script, and was very much "part of the energy, drive, and impetus to get the thing off the ground".
Brad also starred in Guy Ritchie's 2000 feature Snatch alongside Stephen Graham and Kleiner added: 'Brad is a massive fan of Stephen."
Adolescence explores the story of the fictional Miller family, whose lives are turned upside down when their 13-year-old-son Jamie is arrested on suspicion of murder having been radicalised online.

Lorde ‘pretty keen' to ‘pull some strings' and make Glastonbury appearance

This draws speculation as to whether the singer from New Zealand, who does not feature on the official line-up, will play during one of the slots marked TBA. The full scheduling for this year was announced earlier in the week and includes sets from Irish rap trio Kneecap and singer Charli XCX, as well as headline performances from British pop band The 1975, Neil Young and his band the Chrome Hearts, and US pop singer Olivia Rodrigo. Asked if she would be playing at the festival, Lorde told Jo Whiley's BBC Radio 2 show: 'You know, I'm pretty keen, honestly. 'I feel like, because the album's going to be coming out, I am quite tempted by what's going on, because I've got lots of friends playing as well. We'll see if I can pull some strings and get there.' The 28-year-old is friends with a number of singers including Brat star Charli XCX, who is playing the Other Stage on the Saturday night. Earlier in the year, the British singer played at US festival Coachella where Lorde made an appearance to perform their collaborative version of Girl, So Confusing. The singer, whose real name is Ella Yelich-O'Connor, has played at Glastonbury before and performed on the Other Stage in 2017 and the Pyramid Stage in 2022. Asked what it was like to walk onto the Pyramid Stage, she said: 'Absolutely unbelievable, enormous. I was shooketh at the scale. So many cameras … oh goodness. So beautiful, so amazing. 'In 2017 we played the Other Stage, which was so amazing, that was kind of sunset and very moody and just the best. It's the best festival in the world.' The singer shot to fame with her chart-topping single Royals in 2013, which was included in her album Pure Heroine. She has since released the albums Melodrama (2017) and Solar Power (2021), with her fourth studio album, Virgin, to be released on June 27. Glastonbury is running from June 25 to June 29 with performances from the likes of US rapper Doechii, UK singer Raye and veteran rocker Sir Rod Stewart, who will be playing during the coveted legends slot.

Adolescence actor Stephen Graham underwent 'scary' emergency op on plane

The actor and father of two experienced an unsettling health dilemma mid-flight to America, which resulted in an emergency operation on the plane Stephen Graham has opened up about the "scary" emergency operation he underwent while on a plane. Appearing on Late Night with Seth Meyers, the Adolescence actor spoke of a medical emergency that took place the last time he touched down in the States. After the host asked about his previous traumatic flight, Stephen responded by saying it was "a hell of an experience". ‌ He elaborated: "Look, I'm of a certain age, you know what I mean? You're a gentleman, like myself. I don't know; once you get over like 45, you tend to go to the toilet quite a lot of times." His storytelling made the crowd laugh and had viewers wondering where this story was going exactly. ‌ Graham went on to explain how many people opt to have a catheter fitted, which is something he himself had opted for. Ultimately , it was supposed to aid him in his bathroom habits, and he explained that after "three to four months", you should be experiencing "fewer trips to the toilet". Although the Netflix star found himself in a bit of an unusual situation on a flight 10,000 feet in the air when everything had been fine, right up until that point. He tells the late-night host about drinking water on the flight as usual, going to the toilet and suddenly not being able to pee. "I'm like, Oh, this doesn't feel right," he told Myers. "I knew I had to, and then silly Stephen thought, 'Oh, well, if I go back to my seat and I just keep drinking water, at some point it will happen.'" After going back to his seat and some time passing, he went back to the toilet and was shocked by what happened next. Graham said: "long story short, all of a sudden I went, but it was just pure blood," adding that it was "very scary". He further explained that he couldn't stop the sheer amount of blood and began to have a "slight panic attack". He admitted that the entire situation had made him quite emotional, but luck was on his side, as he remembers taking a selfie with a fan before the flight, who just happened to be a doctor. ‌ "He had another friend with him, who was a surgeon," the actor explained. "So I'm there, and I explain. He's like, 'Ok,' and the surgeon, Dr Haji, says, 'We can work this out.'" The entire area he was in was sterilised, and a catheter was pulled out of an emergency box. To put it bluntly, Graham said: "I drop my kecks, I get on the couch, and he performs a catheter operation there and then." And, once it was over and done with, the adolescence star took a selfie with the doctors and crew on board to remember the moment.

Sharing an expert from an i article to Instagram, Sophie wrote on her Stories today: "Thank you @carsonsarah @theipaper. "I've been reflecting on my first week of Radio 1 and it's been such a surreal experience to connect with the nation. I love it!!!" Chief Culture Writer Sarah Carson had praised Sophie in her opinion piece, claiming - while her hiring may not be "fair - the reality star still "deserved" her place. Advertisement She wrote: "The primary function of Radio 1 in the afternoons is providing a bit of distraction, energy, and silliness as people leave work or school. "It's not supposed to be challenging, or specialist - it's low-stakes, unwind, chatty stuff that needs someone sparky on the mic between the pre-made playlists. "Habboo is likeable, a sharp wit, withering, quick to laugh, and sweet. She's smart, comfortable being open about her relationship, self-effacing, and happy to indulge a bit of nonsense (she needs to be, being married to Laing). "She feels like a friend - the kind who gives you tough love while giving your arm a gentle squeeze - and she's got charisma. That counts for a lot more than skill and experience in this landscape." Advertisement Her comments were a far cry from some listeners, who had slammed the latest hiring by bosses. On the official social media account of BBC Radio 1, fans flocked to the comments section as they claimed the station has "fallen" in standards. Vick Hope finally reveals pregnancy - and date she's going on maternity leave from BBC Radio One One disgruntled listener fumed: "How far we've fallen from Vick and Jordan…" A second exclaimed: "There is something really gross, about two such privileged and independently wealthy (the Laings)given access to prime time national radio shows over people who have trained and studied for years in media." Advertisement "Please get some good DJs back in the drive time slot. It's getting embarrassing," stated a third user. While someone else raged: "Wealthy Reality stars just being handed roles for nothing now. They're sooo unrelatable." And a fifth added: "Im a big radio 1 fan but shouldve been jerry .....jamie and sophie is a bad move be a switch off for me sorry." Many longtime fans of the station directly blamed bosses for a decline as they hired "influencers". Advertisement They slammed the decision not to look for upcoming talent or give the role to an existing cover presenter who has trained for the job "for years". Another fan noted: "Where is the dislike button? "There are so many hard working and capable presenters covering gigs on R1 atm, how undermining that they weren't given the chance to show the listeners what they're capable of!!" Someone else agreed" "Really glad I'm not the only one who was disappointed by this update. Advertisement "It really doesn't sit right with me when there's people trying so hard to get a break. It's a no from me I'm afraid." Please get some good DJs back in the drive time slot. It's getting embarrassing Radio 1 fan While another added: "I think I'll be finding a different radio station to listen to for my 'going home' slot in the week now. "Something just doesn't sit right with me, that his wife has got the job… when there must be some amazing local talent & those that have worked really hard in the industry that will have been overlooked for celebrity privilege…" One more fan stated: "Radio 1 turning into a constant influencer podcast.. what happened to actually knowing music to being a radio DJ! Many years of listening, only holding on for Greg! Time to switch!"
