‘I'm finally noticing the red flags': Ex-Sunrise host Sam Armytage's cryptic relationship post after breaking silence on post-divorce love life

Samatha Armytage has shared a cryptic post about 'finally noticing the red flags' after her high-profile split from her husband Richard Lavender.
The ex-Sunrise presenter is enjoying time off in the Cotswolds, England, between filming Channel Nine's new dating show The Golden Bachelor.
In recent Instagram photos of her travels, Armytage can be seen perched on the steps of a backyard with a red mini golf flag in the background.
She took to the caption with a very tongue-in-cheek quip, saying she had only just started to notice red flags at the age of 48.
"She's gone country... Cotswolds-style," Armyatge wrote.
"A fabulous dose of friends & fam & fresh air & dogs & tweed & THE biggest roses I've ever seen."
"Plus, at 48, I'm finally noticing the red flags (as evidenced by my face in pic four or was that the cold steps?)
"Love a bit of mini-golf in an English paddock, ummm sorry, field."
Armytage's friends and followers tactfully held their tongues on what appeared to be the latest clue about her love life and instead wrote words of praise.
"Ignoring the red flags and focusing on my peonies," said one person, referencing the flowers in the post.
"No red flags. You look stunning," another person said.
It comes as Armytage continues to share thinly-veiled clues about her dating life in the media and with her more than 250,000 Instagram followers.
'My love life is pretty quiet, not much to write home about there, but the show's love life is fantastic,' she told The Daily Telegraph's Confidential in May.
'I am living vicariously through my show at the moment.'
The Golden Bachelor is a new twist on the popular Bachelor dating franchise and will see a group of older Australians competing for the hearts of Barry 'Bear' Myrden, a widower in his 50s from Manly in Sydney's Northern Beaches.
Despite Armytage's admission about her quiet love life, it doesn't mean she's not open to finding love again.
The TV host herself recently shared a cryptic quote suggesting she was ready to move on.
"Don't be afraid to start over again; you may like your new story better," she wrote on Instagram in April.
That same month, she was spotted arm in arm with a new "wingman" at the 2025 Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival.
Fashion designer Jonathan Ward took to Instagram to post a photo of himself beside the former Sunrise host at Royal Randwick, along with the caption, "Very special to be the guest and wingman for my gorgeous friend Sam at the Autumn Carnival Derby Day Royal Randwick @sam_armytage #royalrandwickracecourse."
Armytage announced her split from Lavender after four years of marriage in a statement to the Daily Telegraph last December.
'Yes, Richard and I have separated," she said.
"All breakups are hard, but it's somewhat lessened by the fact it's amicable, and we wish the best for each other.
The move shocked some industry insiders after the TV host told Woman's Day she quit hosting Seven's flagship Sunrise program to live at Lavender's 40-hectare estate in NSW's Southern Highlands in 2021.
It is understood Armytage has since returned to Sydney's eastern suburbs.
She sat on the Sunrise couch alongside David Koch from 2013 until 2021.
The combination of Armytage and Koch saw Sunrise consistently take the lead in the morning TV wars with its rival Today on Channel 9.

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex confirms As Ever products back on sale this week

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex will release new As Ever products this week. The former Suits star launched the first items in her lifestyle range in April but the collection - which included jams, teas, and biscuits - sold out in just 45 minutes, and she has now revealed some "delicious surprises" are on the way, as well as some old favourites. The As Ever Instagram account shared a photo of pancakes topped with syrup and raspberries and was captioned: "'Oh yes, honey…sweet things await. Mark your calendars for June 20 at 8 a.m. PT - we're bringing back your favorites, plus some delicious surprises you won't want to miss!" Meghan reshared the post on her own Instagram Story. She captioned it: 'So much love has gone into I can't wait to share it with you this Friday, June 20th!' Meghan - who has Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, four, with husband Prince Harry - teased on 4 June that As Ever products would be back on sale later this month. She announced on Instagram: "To all who've been wondering and waiting, thank you! Your favorites are returning, plus a few NEW things we can't wait to show you. Coming this excited!(sic)" The announcement at the beginning of the month came after the 43-year-old royal had announced she had put As Ever on "pause" until it was "completely stable" and she had a strategy in place to scale up production. Speaking to guest Tina Knowles on her Confessions of a Female Founder podcast, she said: "You can say, 'Oh, I made this in my house' ... I'm going, 'I just picked these strawberries, and it's so great! Look, I just put a little bit of sugar and some Meyer lemon', and you try to scale that up and you're wanting to manage expectations, but you want to share the thing you've worked so hard on." Meghan compared the launch to a "sneaker drop" and noted that while the 'scarcity mentality at the beginning might be a hook for people', she didn't want to annoy shoppers. She added: 'I don't want you to eat that jam once every six months. I want that to be on your shelf all the time. 'So for me at the moment, with As Ever, it was great. We planned for a year and then everything sells out in 45 minutes. 'Yes, amazing – great news. Then what do you do? And then you say 'OK, we planned as best as we could'. Are we going to replenish and sell out again in an hour? Or is that annoying as a customer? 'I'm looking at it saying 'just pause'. That happened. Let's wait until we are completely stable and we have everything we need.'

'Cute': Isla Fisher shares a very telling post on social media just days after finalising her divorce from Sacha Baron Cohen

Isla Fisher has shared a very telling photo on social media just days after she finalised her divorce from actor Sacha Baron Cohen. The Australian actress, 49, took to Instagram on Monday to share a sultry snap of three tanned and shirtless firefighters holding puppies. The sculpted men wore nothing but a pair of yellow firefighter pants and boots. They held the pups up to their shoulders, showing off their chiseled abs and arms. 'Look at those cute puppies,' Fisher cheekily wrote. The Confessions of a Shopaholic actress' telling post could suggest she has begun to cast her eye around and is ready to find love again. It comes after she and Baron Cohen, who won a Golden Globe Award for starring in Borat, announced they had finalised their £120 million (AU$251 million) divorce in a joint statement released via social media on Friday. 'We are proud of all we have achieved together and, continuing our great respect for each other, we remain friends and committed to co-parenting our wonderful children,' the statement read. 'We ask for the media to continue to respect our children's privacy.' Amid their divorce, Fisher and Baron Cohen, 53, co-parent their three children, Olive, 18, Elula, 15, and Montgomery, 10, while living in the UK. The actress shared a Father's Day tribute to her ex-husband on social media on Tuesday, showing that the pair remain very much friends. 'Happy Father's Day to the best father our children could hope for," she wrote over a photo of the Borat star lovingly holding one of their children. Despite the rosy picture, the Australian actress previously opened up about the challenges of co-parenting after the couple separated. 'It's the most difficult thing that I've been through, and I've learnt so much about myself in the process,' Fisher told The Sunday Times in February. 'I never imagined my family being separated, but we are committed and loving parents.' Fisher and Baron Cohen first met at a party in Sydney in 2001, and they tied the knot in Paris in 2010 after Fisher converted to Judaism. The pair announced their separation in April last year, sharing a joint statement on social media. "After a long tennis match lasting over 20 years, we are finally putting our racquets down," they wrote alongside a photo of themselves in tennis whites. They went public with their split just days after Australian actress Rebel Wilson accused Baron Cohen of sexually harassing her during the filming of Grimsby in 2016, in which Fisher also had a role. A spokesperson for Baron Cohen denied the claims in Wilson's autobiography Rebel Rising, calling them "demonstrably false" and "defamatory". Fisher's career in the spotlight remains unwavering despite her personal life. In February, she led the voice cast on the animated film Dog Man and appeared in a cameo role in the new Bridget Jones sequel. She has also recently consolidated her property portfolio after selling off an apartment in Sydney's ritzy Woollahra. It is understood the former Home and Away actress no longer owns property in the country after the sale in Woollahra.

Home with side-by-side toilet has buyers kicking up a stink - realestate.com.au

Meghan Trainor raised plenty of eyebrows when she revealed her home with husband Daryl Sabara has a rather unusual feature: two toilets in the bathroom located directly next to each other. The 'All About That Bass' singer made the revelation on an episode of Nicole Byer's podcast Why Won't You Date Me? in 2021, claiming the couple 'pee at the same time a lot.' 'It's gonna be a little different, but it's a tighter bathroom area, so we will be close. Knees to knees. And that's better. I want to see him,' she said at the time. While certainly a unique way to bond, Trainor's bathroom habits aren't, perhaps, that unusual if a recent sale listing in Burns, Oregon is anything to go by. The log cabin-style home comes with two side-by-side toilets, each with their own loo roll. RELATED 'Just evil': Share house's shock offer to vulnerable renter Bathroom in the kitchen a shock surprise Aus's worst neighbours exposed This unique toilet set up is taking couple time to the next level. The side-by-side toiles overlook matching side-by-side sinks. It is like a public bathroom stall, but taken one step further, as no dividing wall separates the toilets from each other. In lieu of traditional tiles, the floor is covered in plush salmon carpet – the shade presumably chosen to hide a world of sins. The toilets look onto a matching pair of his-and-hers sinks, placed below a large mirror. Meanwhile, Meghan Trainor his n' hers toilets are … an interesting choice. Picture: Instagram Unsurprisingly, the bathroom has already attracted attention on social media, with users torn over the unusual layout. 'I can't even look my husband in the eye after he comes out of a regular bathroom,' one person commented on reddit. Another person wrote: 'It's a choice. Not one I'd make, but some couples have 'comfort' levels way beyond mine'. 'Having two toilets side-by-side does nothing. Literally NO ONE wants to to sh*t right next to someone else. The point of having separate bowls is in case two people need to go at the same time, or don't want to share a toilet area for personal hygiene reasons. This is worse than a public bathroom, which at least has stalls,' a third wrote. The house is on the market for $US385,000 ($594,000) following a recent price cut. Unusual bathrooms strike chord with buyers and tenants While side-by-side toilets may seem a little out there, it's not the strangest bathroom setting to have caught national – and sometimes global – attention. In 2020, an old terrace at Port Melbourne tested how far renters would go for an inner city lifestyle, with the kitchen and bathroom sharing a space. Advertised at $400 a week, tenants could live at the two-bedroom property, where the only shower is right beside the stove and the toilet was found outside in the paved courtyard. Yes! That's a bathroom is in the kitchen. It must have been the year for unusual bathroom listings with a separate inner Sydney studio offering tenants a room with a different kind of view. The apartment on Bourke St appeared to seamlessly blends the shower and toilet with the kitchen. Recently renovated, the studio had done away with bathroom walls and instead opens the space up with glass. While the glass walls allowed light to flow into the small home, it also meant the toilet could be admired from the comfort of the bed. This Surry Hills home has a room with a different kind of view. Meanwhile, an Aussie share house listing sent shudders over what renters may be tolerating in a tight market only last year. The rental listed on a share house group social media site, claimed: 'rent includes furnished private room and bathroom'. However, the ad raised some serious questions when the only bathroom pictured was a portaloo. The listing also stated that there was no access to the kitchen. Social media was having none of it with one of the images of an outdoor portaloo seeing the listing flagged on popular Reddit forum sh*trentals. There were no other images of bathrooms except the portaloo set up. It includes a shower – over the toilet in the portaloo. 'Private bathroom or portaloo? Came across this listing with a private bathroom … and photos of a portaloo,' a Redditor said. 'Also, photos of a kitchen that you don't have access to! Preying on the international student community in the area undoubtedly.'
