I Beat Loneliness Launches on Four Charts
I Beat Loneliness debuts on four charts in the U.K. this week. The full-length brings Bush to a new low on all but one of those rankings. The set gives Bush its third placement on both the Official Albums Sales and Official Album Downloads charts, where it enters at Nos. 67 and 86, respectively. In both instances, the new effort earns the unfortunate distinction of becoming the lowest-peaking title in the band's catalog.
A New Low Point for Bush
Bush's I Beat Loneliness opens at No. 69 on the Official Physical Albums ranking. While the group has earned more than twice as many hits on that format-specific roster when compared to the Official Albums Sales and Official Album Downloads charts – the latest set is the rock outfit's seventh – it also brings the musicians to a new low.
Before this week, Golden State and The Art of Survival were tied for Bush's lowest peak, as both stalled at No. 53, where they debuted.
Bush Nearly Scores a new Top 10 Album
I Beat Loneliness gives Bush a ninth hit on the Official Rock & Metal Albums chart — and it is not the band's least impressive launch. Both Man on the Run and Loaded: The Greatest Hits 1994–2023 also missed the top 10, as the group's latest collection opens at No. 11. Man on the Run peaked at No. 28, while the singles compilation only climbed to No. 34.
