Kristin Cavallari sets record straight about custody agreement with Jay Cutler

Miami Herald25-06-2025
Kristin Cavallari is getting honest about her divorce from Jay Cutler.
The 38-year-old 'Laguna Beach' alumna shares three kids — sons Camden, 12, and Jaxon, 11, and daughter Saylor, 9 — with the former NFL quarterback, whom she tied the knot with in 2013.
Cavallari filed for divorce in April 2020, and the couple reached a custody agreement one month later.
On the June 24 episode of her 'Let's Be Honest' podcast, Cavallari addressed an inconsistency from her new reality show, 'Honestly Cavallari,' where she alludes to having her kids 'full-time.'
Later in the episode, she says she has them only 'every other weekend.'
On her podcast, Cavallari explains that the editing was 'a little wonky' and her comment 'wasn't explained very well on the show.'
'So let me just clear this up. I did have my kids full-time for a while and now I have them except for every other weekend,' she clarified. 'I'm not going to get into the reasoning or legality around it.'
Her update comes nearly eight months after she made a rare comment about the custody agreement in an October episode of her podcast.
Cavallari was talking about her split from ex-boyfriend Mark Estes when she revealed that she didn't know if she had the time to reenter the dating world.
'When I was dating last fall, I was still doing split custody with my ex and I had every other week off from my kids,' she explained on the podcast, per People, before revealing, 'That's changed.'
Cavallari further described herself as a 'homebody' and said she doesn't 'have a lot of time for anything else.'
Elsewhere in the June 24 podcast episode, Cavallari took a moment to address the haters.
The mother of three was alluding to a comment she made in a confessional on her reality TV show about not wanting to talk about her marriage anymore.
'In the interview chair, I did say 'I am so sick of talking about my marriage.' I don't actually want to talk about my marriage on my new show. Let's all move on,' she explained on the podcast.
She then turned her attention to the people who encourage the comments about her marriage.
'People get asked the same questions over and over and over and over. I've been divorced for over five years, and people still ask me about it,' she said on the podcast.
'I can't win, but it is also part of my story, so if periodically I do say one little thing, well — because it's part of my journey,' she argued.
Cavallari also addressed the 'online people' who say she's only successful because of Cutler.
'I don't get a penny from my ex-husband. I never have through my divorce. …/ It's important for me to clear up because that's why I work so hard is because I'm supporting three children,' she explained.
She goes on to praise herself for being '100% owner' of her jewelry line Uncommon James.
'People love to discredit that Uncommon James or anything in my life is only successful because of my ex-husband — because my ex-husband had money,' Cavallari continued.
'I didn't get any money in the divorce. I don't get anything for child support. I mean, never. That was never even on the table to be quite honest with you. I've never even wanted it,' she added.
Cavallari says it's important for her to clear that up because she's 'really proud' of everything she has accomplished and everything she built 'with my own money.'

Travis Kelce showed up to Chiefs camp with a dramatically different haircut

Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has gone through numerous hair eras during his career. Last season, he grew his hair out (at Taylor Swift's urging, according to Patrick Mahomes). And he showed up to the first days of Chiefs training camp this week with even longer hair. That changed on Sunday, though. It looks like the fade is back for the future Hall of Famer. When the Chiefs took the field for Sunday's practice session, fans noticed that Kelce ditched the long hair in favor of the haircut he went with in the 2023 season. Yes, the long hair is officially gone. The fade worked out well for Kelce in 2023, so it makes sense. Commanders to induct legendary wide receiver Santana Moss into Ring of Fame

A big surprise for Tana to end today's live show 💛 Before Terry McLaurin in Washington, there was Santana Moss. Criminally underrated, model citizen, beloved by teammates, coaches, and fans, not a diva, and never having sustained quality quarterback play. Now, the team is honoring Moss. Moss, who works for the team's broadcast crew, was surprised by fellow broadcast partner and team legend Brian Mitchell. During Washington's Week 1 game against the New York Giants, the Commanders will induct Moss into the franchise's Ring of Fame. Here's Moss learning the news from Mitchell: A first-round pick of the New York Jets in the 2001 NFL draft, the Redskins traded disgruntled wide receiver Laveranues Coles to the Jets for Moss ahead of the 2005 season. Coles initially began his career with the Jets, but signed with Washington as a free agent in 2003. He was unhappy in Joe Gibbs' offense and wanted out. Washington then made one of the best trades in franchise history, sending Coles to the Jets in a straight-up deal for Moss. In only his second game for the Redskins, Moss caught two late fourth-quarter touchdowns to shock the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football. His legendary status with the franchise was already cemented. Moss would play 10 seasons in the burgundy and gold, catching 581 passes for 7,867 yards and 47 touchdowns. He finished his 14-year NFL career with 732 receptions, 10,283 yards and 66 touchdowns. Congratulations to Santana Moss!

Aaron Rodgers gushes over new wife: ‘Your whole world changes when you meet the right one'

Aaron Rodgers has kept his marriage on the down low, but he has no issue speaking about their love at length. The 41-year-old confirmed at minicamp that he got married over the offseason after he was spotted with a band that he confirmed was a wedding ring. Not much is known about Rodgers' wife, except that her name is Brittani. Rodgers spoke at length last month about his wife's wishes for a private life. But he made their "unconditional" love very public while speaking with the NFL Network on Saturday. "When you meet the right one, and you're with the right one, your whole world changes in a second. And to have that person that unconditionally loves you behind the scenes, there's no better feeling in the world, and I've got the most incredible wife," Rodgers said, via "I just really love her, and I'm so thankful to have her by my side at the end. When you have that stability and that rock behind you at the house, you feel like you can do anything." Rodgers' relationship history has been the subject of widespread coverage and controversy throughout his NFL career. Rodgers previously dated actresses Olivia Munn and Shaleine Woodley and former NASCAR driver Danica Patrick. Rodgers' past relationships were recalled in his docuseries "Enigma," which debuted on Netflix last week. He explained that he "hated" the fame that came with his successful football career. Rodgers signed a one-year deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers over the offseason after a failed tenure with the New York Jets, who released him. In ironic fashion, the Steelers and Jets face off to begin the NFL season.
