Gold Derby's official guess for Fuzzy Peas is … Oscar De La Hoya! Don't believe us? Let's examine all of the clues so far, one by one:
Here is what Fuzzy Peas had to say about himself: 'If you had told me one day I would be dressing up as Fuzzy Peas, I would tell you, 'Hey, absolutely, I believe you!' He's silly, he's suave, but also looks like a conqueror. You see, I am third generation in my field, and we all fought for what we believe in. Add a dash of my mother's passion music, and now I'm known for my hits, some of them Grammy-nominated. Delicioso! I even fulfilled her dying wish of securing a gold record. That's what makes this sauce very special. Now I, Fuzzy Peas, am here as captain of my destiny because I never say no to a challenge … or a fiesta. Maestro, la musica!' Oscar was raised in a boxing family, with his father and grandfather both playing the sport. He is also a Grammy nominee for his self-titled 2001 album.

On-screen hints during Fuzzy Peas' video package include the following: watermelons, apples, peppers, pears, corn, a rubber chicken, an Xbox remote, and a globe made of gold. The controller is a reference to Oscar appearing on video game covers like of EA Sports' Fight Night Round 3 and Knockout Kings. And the globe's color is a wink to his nickname, 'The Golden Boy of Boxing,' due in part because of his various gold medal titles from the world of boxing.
Following his performance of 'La Bamba,' Fuzzy Peas revealed: 'I was nominated with Shakira and Christina Aguilera.' Oscar was a nominee at the 2001 Grammys in Best Latin Pop Album alongside Shakira (who won), Aguilera, Luis Miguel, and Alejandro Sanz. Well, it doesn't get much clearer than that!

BBC axes Survivor after one series
Survivor has been axed by the BBC. The reality series proved to be a ratings flop, and host Joel Dommett has now confirmed that it won't return for a second series. Joel, 40 - who has also hosted The Masked Singer since 2020 - told The Sun newspaper: "It just shows you how nothing is a given in telly. I thought Survivor would be huge. I thought that would be my job for the next 20 years. "I've done shows and thought that's not coming back and it keeps coming back and then you do something like Survivor, which you think is guaranteed and it doesn't come back." Earlier this year, Joel revealed that he was hoping for a second series of Survivor. The TV star also promised that changes would be made if the show came back. In an interview with the Metro newspaper, he said: 'Fingers crossed … there's a lot of stuff that we would do slightly differently. 'Like with every first series, it's hard, so I think a second series would be amazing. 'Everyone seems to really love it, so I'm excited that – hopefully – [we get to] do another one." The first episode of the rebooted Survivor - which launched in October 2023 - only received 2.6 million viewers, despite airing at the prime-time slot of 8:25pm on a Saturday, after Strictly Come Dancing. Survivor's second episode was then replaced by David Attenborough's Planet Earth III. A TV insider also previously claimed that the BBC was not keen on renewing the programme for another series. The source told the Daily Mail newspaper: 'It has come as a huge surprise that Survivor is coming back. 'It is viewed by many within the Beeb as being a very expensive flop and the general view was that it should – and would – be canned. 'To spend that amount of money on a programme that is watched by such few people surely is a silly way to spend public money."

Leonardo DiCaprio reveals passing on this role as his 'biggest regret'
Leonardo DiCaprio not only feels younger than his current age of 50, but he also pines for a role he passed on when he was younger: Dirk Diggler. The Oscar-winning actor told Paul Thomas Anderson, the director of the 1997 film "Boogie Nights," his "biggest regret" is not doing that film with Anderson. The actor had a good excuse in that he had already committed to the role of Jack Dawson in "Titanic," which became a blockbuster when it hit theaters the same year. DiCaprio does star in Anderson's newest film, "One Battle After Another," which hits theaters Sept. 26. A discussion between the two appears in the September issue of Esquire. What to watch: Over 30 years after its debut, this classic film is dominating streaming When Anderson, whose other films include "Licorice Pizza" and "Phantom Thread," asked DiCaprio if he had any career regrets, the actor said, according to the Esquire article, "I'll say it even though you're here: My biggest regret is not doing 'Boogie Nights.' It was a profound movie of my generation. I can't imagine anyone but Mark (Wahlberg) in it. When I finally got to see that movie, I just thought it was a masterpiece. It's ironic that you're the person asking that question, but it's true." In the film, Wahlberg's role is that of Diggler, who becomes a porn star in the 1970s adult film industry. In a commentary track that appears on the DVD and Blu-ray Disc releases of the film, Anderson said he wanted Wahlberg or DiCaprio to play Diggler after seeing their performances in "The Basketball Diaries," notes movie blog Film School Rejects. Also in the Esquire interview, DiCaprio, who has been known to date much younger women, told Anderson he felt like he was 32 years old and "turned emotionally 35 last year." In the upcoming film, "One Battle After Another," DiCaprio plays a one-time revolutionary faced with rescuing his daughter, who has been captured by an alt-right group. Also appearing in the film are Sean Penn and Benicio Del Toro. The film is his and Anderson's first together. "I've been wanting to work with you – Paul – for something like 20 years now, and I loved this idea of the washed-up revolutionary trying to erase his past and disappear and try and live some sort of normal life raising his daughter," DiCaprio told Anderson in their discussion. Discussing DiCaprio's role in the film, Anderson says, "He is a nice character, someone who starts out wanting to change the world on the far left but gets increasingly cranky and closed off as he gets older."
