Ariana Grande's Album Becomes A Bestseller Again

Ariana Grande's Album Becomes A Bestseller Again

Forbes5 hours ago
Ariana Grande's most recent album Eternal Sunshine is almost a year and a half old. The singer dropped the set in March 2024, and she's been promoting it ever since, although at times her efforts have been more intense than at others. Fans in the United Kingdom are still consuming Eternal Sunshine to this day, and even as the set falls on several tallies, it returns to multiple other lists as the Grammy winner and Oscar-nominated actress rebounds onto a pair of charts.
Eternal Sunshine Returns to Multiple Charts
Eternal Sunshine lives on four album rankings in the U.K. this week. It breaks back onto both the Official Physical Albums and Official Albums Sales charts, coming in at Nos. 90 and 96, respectively, after not finding space on either just days ago.
It's not unusual for full-lengths from superstars like Grande to appear on general consumption tallies or even streaming-focused rosters for months or years, as streaming has become the primary way for millions of people to continually consume music. Sales are usually strongest when a project is brand new or when it's being actively promoted via a tour or in some other fashion. Grande isn't pushing Eternal Sunshine in any major way at the moment, and yet her fan base in the U.K. has clearly not gotten enough of the set.
Ariana Grande's Album Falls on Two Other Lists
In addition to the two sales tallies, Eternal Sunshine also lives on the Official Albums Streaming chart and the Official Albums ranking, which is a consumption-based list. Eternal Sunshine drops a few spaces on both, landing at No. 75 on the streaming-only roster and No. 76 on the other ranking.
The History of Eternal Sunshine on the Charts
Eternal Sunshine has only spent about half as many weeks on the sales rosters as it has on both the Official Albums chart and the streaming tally. The studio effort recently passed 70 frames on the latter two, while it has yet to crack 40 on either purchase-focused list.
Grande's Eternal Sunshine peaked at No. 2 on both the Official Album Sales and Official Physical Albums rankings, while the singer scored a new No. 1 on the Official Albums chart and Official Albums Streaming list.

Why Dua Lipa Spent a Lot of Time 'Being Guarded' Before Relationship with Fiancé Callum Turner

Lipa confirmed their engagement in June 2025 after first sparking romance rumors in January 2024 NEED TO KNOW Dua Lipa opened up about "being guarded" before her relationship with Callum Turner 'That vulnerability is so scary, but I feel so lucky to get to feel it," she told Harper's BAZAAR of her experience being in love Lipa confirmed her engagement to Turner in June 2025 Dua Lipa opened up about her love life before Callum Turner. In a cover story with Harper's BAZAAR published on Tuesday, Aug. 19, the pop star reflected on her relationships before meeting her fiancé, 35. Lipa, 29, who met Turner through the poet and singer Mustafa, discussed how incredible falling in love has been for her. 'I love love. It is a beautiful thing,' she told the publication, adding. 'It's a really inspiring thing. You find yourself so intensely falling all the time in the best way possible.' Added Lipa: 'That vulnerability is so scary, but I feel so lucky to get to feel it. I've spent a lot of time being guarded or protecting my heart, and so I'm letting go of that feeling and just being like, 'Okay, if I'm supposed to get hurt, then this is what's going to happen.' I have to just allow love.' Of her relationship with Turner, the "Training Season" musician said she was "happier than ever." "So it feels like I'm doing a disservice by not talking about it," Lipa said of their romance. She noted that her personal life is "very vulnerable" as a public person. "It's not like I don't want to share it," said Lipa. The "New Rules" hitmaker confirmed her engagement to Turner in a June interview with British Vogue. 'Yeah, we're engaged. It's very exciting," she told the outlet. Lipa also told the publication that her engagement ring was made after Turner spoke with her best friends and her sister. 'I'm obsessed with it. It's so me," she said. "It's nice to know the person that you're going to spend the rest of your life with knows you very well.' At the time, according to Lipa, the pair hadn't begun wedding planning. 'I want to finish my tour, Callum's shooting, so we're just enjoying this period," Lipa said. "I've never been someone who's really thought about a wedding, or dreamt about what kind of bride I would be. All of a sudden I'm like: 'Oh, what would I wear?'" The "Levitating" artist didn't understand the "weight" of getting married before it happened. 'This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just, I don't know, be best friends forever – it's a really special feeling," said Lipa. Lipa and Turner initially sparked romance rumors in January 2024 when they were first spotted together at the Masters of Air afterparty following its London premiere. At the time, the duo were captured in a video slow dancing. Read the original article on People

HBO's 'Harry Potter' series casts more Weasley children. Meet Ginny, Fred, George and Percy.

HBO shared a new photo of the actors posing with Alastair Stout, who is set to play Ron Weasley. The Weasley family is growing! More Weasley children have been cast for the upcoming Harry Potter TV series that will air in 2027, HBO announced Tuesday. Mischievous twin brothers Fred and George will be played by Tristan and Gabriel Harland, respectively, while Ruari Spooner has been cast as elder brother Percy, and Gracie Cochrane has been cast as younger sister Ginny. James and Oliver Phelps originated the role of the twins in the Warner Bros. movies, and Chris Rankin played Percy. Actress Bonnie Wright portrayed Ginny in the films for a decade. Alastair Stout was already announced to play Ron Weasley, one of Harry Potter's best friends, while Katherine Parkinson has been cast as the Weasleys' mom, Molly. Casting for the eldest Weasley brother, Charlie, and father, Arthur, has not yet been announced The Harland twins played minor roles in The Last Kingdom TV series in 2020, while Spooner held the lead in a 7-minute short film that was released in 2024, according to IMDb. Cochrane, 11, was a minor character in the 2024 Steve McQueen film, Blitz, and part of the choir in the 2024 movie Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. Many of the major characters have been cast, including Hagrid, Albus Dumbledore and Professor Severus Snape, as well as some of the supporting roles, such as Harry's cousin Dudley Dursley and fellow Gryffindor Neville Longbottom. HBO's plan is to base each season on one of the seven books in the popular literary series. In December, Variety reported that Discovery global streaming chief JB Perrette said the show is expected to be a 10-year project. The show has started production at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden in the U.K., which is where the original movie franchise was filmed from 2000 to 2010. The episodes are being written and executive-produced by Francesca Gardiner; Mark Mylod, who worked as an executive producer and director on the HBO drama Succession, will direct several episodes, according to Warner Bros.
