FIH Pro League — 2025 season (7Plus)Streaming June 14
Hockey season is in full swing with 7Plus airing all the Men's and Women's FIH Pro League matches free-to-air this June. Cheer on your Kookaburras (Men's) and the Hockeyroos (Women's) as they take on eight other countries from around the globe.
This year, the Kookaburras aim to back up their 2023-24 championship win and become the first country with the most outright championships to their name. Meanwhile the Hockeyroos hope to stop The Netherlands from taking out their third championship in a row.

We Were Liars — new series premiere (Amazon Prime Video)Streaming June 18
Based on E. Lockhart's young adult psychological horror novel of the same name, We Were Liars follows 17-year-old Cadence Sinclair, a wealthy teenager who recently suffered a traumatic accident. Cadence struggles to rebuild her life while remembering important pieces of her life that she's forgotten in her fight to survive.
Considering this book won the Goodreads Choice Award for Best Young Adult Fiction, this is definitely one to watch this month. Stream We Were Liars on Amazon Prime from June 18.
The Bear — new season premiere (Disney Plus)Streaming June 25
We're back in the kitchen as season four of The Bear premieres this June.
Season three is hotly debated as one of the least popular seasons yet, however, when you think about it, it was designed much like one of those delicately crafted authentic restaurant meals — it left viewers hungry for more.

Crime novelist Dennis Lehane, the mastermind behind books like Gone, Baby Gone, Shutter Island and Mystic River, has traded bookstores for screens with Smoke. This series was inspired by Firebug, a podcast focusing on arson crimes by former firefighter, John Leonard Orr.
Taron Egerton stars as Dave, an arson investigator alongside detective Michelle Calderone (Jurnee Smollett) who are both determined to catch not one but two serial arsonists threatening the lives of many.

Bunbury and Districts Hockey Association to defend pair of division one titles at Country Championships
Bunbury and Districts Hockey Association will be looking to defend their pair of division one titles at the hockey Country Championships over the next two weekends in Perth. The women's championships will be staged from Friday to Sunday before the men's tournament takes place over the same days next week. Bunbury's men's side will be hunting their fourth consecutive title, having won a thrilling final over Upper Great Southern via one-on-ones at last year's championships. After going out of 2023's championships in the semifinals, Bunbury's women's side put together a dominant tournament which they capped off with a 1-0 win over Upper Great Southern in the final to reclaim the title last year. Bunbury will also field men's and women's masters sides at the championships to go with a women's division two team. The tournament will feature a number of other associations from the region, with Busselton to send men's and women's masters outfits while Warren (women's division four), Donnybrook (women's division five) and Margaret River (men's division three) will send one team apiece. All games at the championships across Perth Hockey Stadium's two pitches will be streamed at . * Boyanup's Tom Harvie will feature for the Kookaburras in the upcoming leg of the FIH Pro League after recovering from elbow surgery, but his brother Jake has been sidelined by a groin injury. Tom debuted for the national side earlier this year and went on to earn his first contract despite missing a block of games against Argentina due to the problem. The latest leg of the Pro League will see the Kookaburras play eight games around Europe, the first of which will come against India in Antwerp on Saturday at 4.30pm WA time. Pro League games are available to stream live on 7plus.

Double Dutch calamity for hammered Hockeyroos
The Hockeyroos changed their line-up and tried to summon up new resolve but, ultimately, were still overwhelmed for the second time in 24 hours by their ruthless Dutch hosts in international hockey's Pro League. Australia's hockey women are not used to the sort of hammerings they were handed in consecutive days at the Wagener Stadium in Amstelveen as the world's No.1 side, the Netherlands, followed up their 8-1 win on Saturday with a 5-1 trouncing on Sunday. Hockeyroos' coach Katrina Powell made four changes in the hope of stemming the tide after the calamitous display on Saturday and for a moment, all looked good when NSW's Alice Arnott put the visitors ahead in the seventh minute. Arnott was back in international action for the first time since her terrific Paris Olympic Games performance last August, and made it nine goals in just 23 appearances with her reverse-stick finish. "I was very excited to be back out there, in fact, I think it was probably the adrenaline talking that got me that goal!" said Arnott. "It was a great play from the defence to attack, the build up was really great, and I was the lucky one on the end of it, but it was nice to be back out there and that settled the nerves a little bit for me." Alas, for the team, it was only the prelude to another brilliant demonstration by the Dutch masters, aided by some careless turnovers from the Aussies. The Olympic champs equalised through Marijn Veen after 13 minutes, went ahead through Maud van den Heuvel in the 21st before Yibbi Jansen scored with a familiar drag flick on the stroke of halftime. There was no way back for the Hockeyroos as the Dutch completely dominated after the break, Jansen adding her second - and her fifth across the two matches - in the 41st minute before Felice Albers sealed their nap hand of goals seven minutes later. It was not the happiest way to celebrate Grace Young's 50th international appearance for Australia, nor Queensland striker Jamie-Lee Surha's historic debut as just the fifth Indigenous woman to represent the Hockeyroos. "Pulling on the Indigenous uniform was one of the most special moments for me, being a First Nations athlete in this team, I'm very proud to be here and in this uniform," Surha said. Captain Grace Stewart was adamant that the team would "take a lot from this" as they now move on to London for the next stage of the Pro League, where they'll face India twice before taking on hosts England. The Hockeyroos currently lie seventh of the league's nine teams, having lost seven of their 10 matches.
