I've faced an uphill battle in the music business, says Heidi Montag
The 38-year-old reality star released her second studio album, Heidiwood, in May, but she admits that she still faces a battle for credibility as a musician.
Asked how it feels to prove people wrong, Heidi told People: "It's tricky. It still feels like such an uphill battle.
"It's nice to have come into a different level of support and appreciation. I feel like it's still such an uphill battle ahead.
"There's so much still to be done and to fully cement it, if that makes sense — and not just have it be a moment and have it be more of a career."
Heidi and her husband Spencer Pratt are the driving forces behind her recent success.
And the Prototype hitmaker hopes she can eventually rebuild their family home - which was destroyed in the Los Angeles wildfires earlier this year - with the money raised by record sales.
She said: "We work so hard continuously, and between the two of us, especially without having teams.
"All these other pop stars have buildings of people who help them, and it really is just Spencer and I. It's a lot of pressure, and we just want to rebuild a house for my kids. I hope we can do that."
Heidi would love to work with a host of well-known female artists, including the likes of Zara Larsson and Addison Rae.
Asked who she'd like to work with on her next project, Heidi replied: "Zara, I would love to collab with her. KATSEYE, that'd be great. Maybe Doja Cat. Snow Wife. Slayyyter. Charli xcx — girl, call me, I'm fully available. I will come scream on your stage.
"Addison Rae, too. I love what Addison is doing for herself. It's really unique. It's cool. It is resonating. She's doing a really good job with her team, as well."
Heidi and Addison previously connected with each other over TikTok, and the blonde beauty would love to work with the Diet Pepsi hitmaker.
Heidi said: "Back in the day, Addison responded to us on TikTok, so, girl, don't forget us!"

Sunday Rose Kidman Urban, 17, opens up about the one modelling rule set by celebrity parents Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban that she 'hated' at first
Sunday Rose Kidman Urban has revealed the major rule her famous parents, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, laid down before she could begin her modelling career- and why she "hated it" at first. The 17-year-old, who made her professional modelling debut at Paris Fashion Week last year, fronts the August issue of Nylon magazine and spoke candidly about life in the spotlight and what it's like growing up as the daughter of two of the world's most recognisable stars. She explained that her parents had "two big rules" before she stepped into the public eye. "The first was that I couldn't explore any kind of fashion work until I was 16, and the second is that school always has to come first, which at first I hated, but I am actually really glad that I have these rules in place because it keeps me in a good mindset," Sunday Rose said. Raised in Nashville, Tennessee, alongside her 14-year-old sister Faith Margaret, Sunday Rose turned heads in October when she opened the Miu Miu spring/summer 2025 show. At the time, Urban, 57, told People he hopes he and Kidman, 58, can help keep their daughter "balanced" as her star begins to rise. "Hopefully, she'll benefit by having two parents who know about a certain amount of celebrity," the Aussie rocker said. "It's all a challenge. I mean, raising kids is a challenge, period. It's about trying to keep a balance." That approach appears to be working, with Sunday Rose admitting that even while walking in her first runway show, schoolwork was top of mind. "So at my first show, while I was walking, I was actually just thinking about the amount of schoolwork I was going to have to make up!" she said. "I was really just hoping my teachers would let me have a couple days when I got back." The teenager says she enjoys the slower pace of life in Nashville, where most people her age don't know she has celebrity parents. "It's sort of wonderful because I am able to make a first impression based on who I am and not who my family is," she said. Still, Sunday Rose has big dreams, hoping to study filmmaking at university in a city like Los Angeles or New York. "Filmmaking has actually been my dream career since I was five, so I hope I'm able to study that in college," she said. Since her Miu Miu debut, Sunday Rose has appeared in an editorial campaign for the Italian fashion house and walked for its fall/winter ready-to-wear fashion show in March. In July, she starred in Omega's summer 2025 campaign- a brand her mother has been an ambassador for over two decades. Kidman, who also shares two adult children, Bella and Connor, with ex-husband Tom Cruise, recently told Vanity Fair she encourages her kids to seize opportunities. "It's what I try to teach my kids because I don't know what their futures are: Hold on and go for it and take the opportunities when they arise and jump in and try something," the Aussie actress said. "The worst you can do is fail. That may be humiliating, but at least you don't go, 'Gosh, I wish I'd tried that, and I regret that I didn't'."

Colombian singer Maluma stops show to scold mother for bringing one-year-old baby to his concert in Mexico
Colombian singer and rapper Maluma interrupted his concert in Mexico City on Friday to address a fan who brought a one-year-old baby to the event without ear protection. The father-of-one paused his performance and started speaking in Spanish to a woman — presumed to be the baby's mother — in the crowd as the stadium fell quiet. The 31-year-old artist expressed concern for the child's safety, citing the risks posed by high decibel levels at concerts. 'Ma'am, I'm going to tell you something. Don't bring him here, leave him there,' he said from the stage. 'With all due respect, I am already a father. 'What's he? A one-year-old? Do you think it's a good idea to bring a one-year-old baby to a concert where the decibels are this f*cking high? Where the sound is this loud? Loading TikTok Post 'That baby doesn't even know what it's doing here. Next time, protect their ears or something. 'It's your responsibility. You're waving them around like they're a toy. 'That baby doesn't want to be there, for real. I'm telling you with all love and respect.' After the footage was shared on TikTok, many weighed in on whether he had taken the right approach confronting the mother in front of thousands of fans. 'So did he help her out and get the baby some damn headphones?!?' one person commented on the video. 'Good for him. That's some bad parenting,' another said. 'Totally inappropriate to have a baby without protection but totally inappropriate to single her out like that too. I hate preachy performers,' a social media user commented. The singer, who shares one-year-old daughter Paris with his partner, Susana Gómez, added he would never bring his child to a live show under such conditions. Speaking to Allure magazine in July last year, Maluma — who also starred in singer and actress Jennifer Lopez's romantic comedy Marry Me — revealed how life had changed after welcoming his first child. 'Now, I wake up every day with the desire to conquer the world. 'I know I have to f*cking kill it. For Paris, nothing is impossible. 'You have to lead by example. I go to bed every night that I can at nine and wake up at 5:30 to hit the gym because I want to be healthy. 'You want to live forever for your kids. I want to make her proud.'
