Patna: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and Leader of Opposition in the Bihar Assembly, Tejashwi Yadav, on Sunday met the family of Havildar Sunil Kumar Singh , a soldier of the Indian Army who sacrificed his life during Operation Sindoor and said that the entire nation is proud of his bravery.Speaking to the mediapersons in Patna, Tejashwi said, "We will never forget his sacrifice... He fought while being severely injured. The entire nation is proud of his bravery. He fought with valour. He was from Chausa. I met his family today. I will also visit Chausa soon.""We will provide all the support we can..." We stand in solidarity with the bereaved family in this hour of profound grief," the post added.The Indian Armed Forces' on May 7 launched precision strikes under Operation Sindoor and dismantled nine major terror camps associated with the Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Hizbul Mujahideen in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoK).Five of the nine terror camps were located in PoJK, and the other four in Pakistan.The strikes came in response to the Pahalgam terror attack in which 26 people were killed.Among the destroyed camps in Pakistan, Muridke and Bhawalpur stand out as they not only serve as residences for major commanders but also serve as epicentres for radicalisation and various training courses on intelligence and arms handling for Laskar as well as Jaish-e-Mohammad.

'The external affairs minister would travel to Paris and Marseille where he would be holding bilateral discussions with his counterpart minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean Noel Barrot,' the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said. Jaishankar would also participate in the inaugural edition of the Mediterranean Raisina Dialogue to be held in the city of Marseille. In Brussels, Jaishankar will hold a strategic dialogue with the EU High Representative and Vice President Kaja Kallas. 'India-European Union strategic partnership has strengthened over the years across diverse sectors and got a big boost with the first-ever visit of the EU College of Commissioners to India in February this year,' the MEA said. Jaishankar will engage also with the senior leadership from the European Commission and the European Parliament, besides interacting with think tank and media. In the third and final leg of his visit, the external affairs minister will hold wide-ranging talks with leaders of Belgium. 'India and Belgium share warm and friendly relations along with a very robust economic partnership. Today, the collaboration between the two countries spans various domains like trade and investment, green energy, technology, pharmaceutical, diamond sector and strong people-to-people ties,' the MEA said. To shape global opinion, India needs to be architect and engineer
Fifty-nine Indian eminences are currently on a global junket, members of seven 'all party delegations' (each including several Members of Parliament, a serving or retired diplomat and a liaison officer), to elaborate on India's stand on Pakistan-sponsored terrorism and to 'rally global support' for India's counter-terrorism efforts, in the wake of Operation Sindoor and the Pahalgam massacre. It is unlikely that the public will ever learn how much this exercise is costing the taxpayer, and the government will certainly declare it a famous success once it is over. Some skeptical commentators have, however, described this propaganda spree as too little too late. It is not. It is, in fact, too much too soon. The profiles of the members of these delegations do not suggest that they have been selected for their particular and exceptional knowledge of the subject at hand. Reports trickling in indicate that at least some of the activities they are engaging in would not be easy to reconcile with the gravity of their undertaking; but even where they are fully and earnestly engaged in their duties, it is evident that they have not been adequately equipped to serve the ends to which they have been tasked. By and large, the presentations they are making to other world leaders—though mostly to the second line, or lower, of leadership—are based on the present rhetorical positions of the Government of India, and add little to the body of 'evidence' that could noticeably shift perceptions. As with much of what India does, this is little more than a knee-jerk response to transient perceptions of current crises.
