Mauro Icardi 'could be entitled to divorce SUPPORT' from Wanda Nara if 'cheating' accusations are true - despite earning £5m per year!
The Galatasaray star is going through divorce proceedings with his high-profile spouse Wanda Nara, an Argentinian model and presenter with whom he has two kids.
Icardi has accused Nara of infidelity, an allegation which could lead to her having to pay alimony if it is proven to have led to their divorce.
The 32-year-old says Nara cheated on him with Argentinian singer L-Gante and former team-mates Federico Fazio and Keita Balde - the latter has even admitted to having the affair.
Nara has denied knowing Fazio, has not addressed the Balde situation, and is open about her former relationship with L-Gante, which came amid an informal split from Icardi.
According to journalist Gustavo Méndez, via MinutoUno, Nara's alleged infidelity could lead to a financial penalty.
'What they're telling me is that, if adultery is confirmed, and Mauro Icardi is very certain that it will happen, Wanda will have to support Mauro Icardi until he remarries. According to the Italian courts. This is the information I just received,' Mendez told Mujeres Argentinas.
'If adultery is confirmed, Wanda will have to financially support Icardi until he remarries.
Lawyer Mariana Gallego added: 'Adultery has direct consequences for alimony. The guilty party is the one who must support the innocent spouse, something similar to what happened in Argentina before 2015.'
Nara is not the only one to start another relationship while still being married - Icardi has done the same.
After their split, Icardi began his own romance with actress and model China Suarez, who he allegedly cheated on Nara with while they were still together.
Icardi and Nara married in May 2014, and their relationship rarely made it out of the headlines as they underwent multiple separations.
However, In July, Nara, a model and TV host who also acted as Icardi's agent, revealed that the pair had finally ended their tumultuous 10-year romance for good, reportedly filing for divorce around the same time.
She told America TV: 'For personal and health reasons, I tried once more, but it didn't work. Let everyone talk. I've saved my silence for the last.
'I know how hard endings are and what they cost. There are things on TV and the internet that aren't true, but I accept it as part of the bad and who I am.
'I decided to end it, but Mauro and I will still be a family. It wasn't a mistake to try more when there was love. I regret nothing; these years were the best of my life, but now I must be alone.
'There is no villain or third party; our relationship was always stronger than it seemed from the outside. My priority has always been my children, and now more than ever. Thank you for your respect.'
This was not the first time that Nara has claimed her marriage to Icardi is over. She made the same statement in September 2022, and had a brief relationship with L-Gante amid that split, but they ended up reconciling.
Icardi also wrote an emotional message to his wife the previous year after Nara took him back following cheating accusations made against the forward.
On the Argentine TV show LAM, Nara revealed Icardi vowed to 'destroy' her when she asked for a divorce, as she claimed he had now bought her dream house - a $4m (£3.3m) mansion in Argentina that she had planned to share with Icardi when he retired - for him and Suarez to live in.
'Seeing this woman uploading photos in the house I dreamed of for my daughters breaks my soul,' Nara said.
'That house is mine because Mauro bought it when we were married. In Argentina there is no division of property. That house will be my daughters' and mine too. This is not a separation, it is a constant provocation.'
The pair have tried to put on a united front over the years, regularly posting pictures of themselves together on Instagram.
Former Italy defender Daniele Adani once claimed the couple have sex up to 12 times a day during an appearance on Christian Vieiri's Twitch channel, and they have pushed the boundaries by sharing rather revealing material online.

BRASILIA, Aug 12 (Reuters) - Brazil's President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva on Tuesday said his government would provide 30 billion reais ($5.55 billion) in credit as part of a plan to support companies that export goods and are affected by steeper tariffs imposed from Washington. In an interview with local news outlet BandNews, Lula said this was an initial amount to help the exporters, adding the package will also include support through government purchases. The government is set to announce on Wednesday the highly anticipated plan at an event 11:30 a.m. (1430 GMT) in the capital Brasilia, according to the office of Lula's chief of staff. Christine McGuinness opens up about 'mistakes' and 'trust being broken' during emotional chat about split from ex-husband Paddy
Christine McGuinness became emotional as she opened up about ex-husband Paddy's 'mistakes' and claims 'the trust was broken'. The model, 37, who was married to TV presenter Paddy for 11 years before they split for good in 2022, is part of this year's Celebs Go Dating line-up. And while speaking to the E4 show's dating experts, Christine opened up about her marriage to TV personality Paddy. She explained: 'When I met my ex-husband, he wasn't as known as what he is now. I was 19 when I met him. I went to an event where I was modelling. 'My ex-husband was there, someone introduced us. We had a laugh and kept in touch.' When asked by the experts if she fancied Paddy, Christine replied: 'Yeah, I did. He had a cheeky charm, he made me laugh.' She also described meeting Paddy as 'perfect timing' and said it was 'an easy relationship.' The pair, who wed in 2011, have three children - twins Leo and Penelope, as well as Felicity. The experts then asked Christine about the breakup, to which she replied: 'Anyone can make mistakes, but I think the trust was broken.' Christine showed clear signs she wanted to leave the programme during the first episode of Celebs Go Dating on Monday night. The TV personality who announced she had quit the show in May, appeared visibly uncomfortable during the mixer when the celebs were tasked to pick someone to take to Ibiza in the hope they would get closer. But all seemed too much for Christine as she insisted on 'taking a minute' outside with her fellow co-star Kerry Katona . She panicked: 'I need a minute, I can go for a minute can't I? I don't want to just take someone away. 'How can I go abroad with someone I've just met? This is just not normal.' When it was announced she would appear on the show, it was revealed that Christine would be up for dating both men and women on the show. Christine revealed it felt 'too soon' for her to date so publicly following her divorce from ex-husband Paddy McGuinness . She had already flown to Ibiza to begin filming the series with the rest of the cast but told fans she was 'returning home to her family' after having a change of heart. Revealing the news on Instagram, she said: 'I joined Celebs Go Dating with great intentions but have realised that dating on a public platform and the attention is brings is just too soon for me.' Christine also said that she may appear in the future, adding: 'They've said the door is always open for me which I'm so grateful but for now I'm returning home to my family.' Talking on Celebs Go Dating, Christine said: 'I feel like I'm a couple of steps away from being my new self and not 'Paddy's wife'. I'm coming out of the transition part. 'I am single and I absolutely do love women. I'd love to explore that more and I definitely see that's where I'm more comfortable.' She added: 'When I was a teenager, I dated men and women before I was married and now I'm really, really just enjoying spending time with women. 'For the last three years, I've only ever dated women. I was never heterosexual, I've never labelled myself anything other than Christine, to be honest.' Christine was married to TV presenter Paddy for 11 years before they split for good in 2022. After they stayed living together for the sake of their three children, who have all been diagnosed with autism, the exes finalised their divorce out of court last summer. Christine revealed how 'difficult' the break-up had been for her after the pair's marital home, a Cheshire mansion worth £6.5million, was put on the market. She said: 'I've never spoken about the reasons for our divorce, and I don't know if I ever will. 'It was a difficult time. It wasn't something that, you know, I just decided to do overnight, or that we chose to do. 'We tried, and, yeah, there just, unfortunately, there was no repairing it, you know?' Discussing her appearance on the show before deciding to quit, the TV personality has admitted that she hasn't 'dated much before' so this will be a new experience for her. She said: 'I'm really excited to be joining the agency, I'm going to have a summer of fun! Who knows what might happen? I've not really dated much before, so I feel like I'm doing a crash course! 'I'm looking forward to getting to know the other celebs and I'm especially looking forward to the coaching side of things with the agents. I think that's going to be good for me.'
