Morrisons makes major change to loyalty scheme as shoppers can earn points 'faster'
The new More Partner Points allows members to earn points when shopping at over 300 participating brands.
Good news for anyone with a Morrisons More card. The supermarket has just expanded its loyalty scheme, allowing members to earn more points.
The grocer has announced this week the launch of its More Partner Points, an incentive that will see members continue to earn points when they choose to shop outside of Morrisons at over 300 participating brands.
Included in the list of popular retailers that have partnered with the supermarket on the new incentive include Very, eBay, Just Eat, Expedia, ASOS and many more.
The new digital-only feature can be accessed when customers log into the More app or website. From there, they can click their chosen partner retailer and make their purchase as normal.
Once the sale is complete, More loyalty points will then be tracked and added to their account automatically.
Since the More Partner Points poses a new way for members to earn points, even when they don't shop at Morrisons, it means that they can earn one of the supermarket's 'Fivers' faster than before.
More Fivers can be reached once a members has earned 500 points. They can be converted into vouchers to use in store or online, or customers can choose to continue adding to their points balance.
According to Morrisons, it's latest incentive for loyalty members comes in direct response to customer feedback after customers called for more ways to earn points.
The supermarket has also said that it forms part of its "ongoing investment in delivering greater value and convenience for More Card members."
Kate Lavery, Loyalty Director, Morrisons, said: "We're always looking for ways to make the Loyalty scheme even more rewarding. More Partner Points means our customers can now collect More Points on their everyday purchases beyond the weekly shop - whether they're buying clothes, gifts, or booking a holiday. It's another step towards helping customers save more, more often."

It's not the only major change to that the supermarket has launched to help out More members recently. Earlier this year, it was announced that members can earn stamps every time they spend £10 or more.
These can then be used to claim Pyrex products worth up to £30 for free. A minimum of 15 stamps is needed to get a range of the premium kitchen dishes and containers for less, while a full 50 is needed to get them free of charge.
To make the offer more lucrative, the Pyrex items are exclusive only to Morrisons. Included in the assortment of top-quality dishes are a range of containers sized between 600ml to 1600ml, making them perfect for meal prep.
The offer is available to More members until June 8, 2025, with the final date for any redemptions to be made set for June 22, 2025.
Morrisons' More scheme, which is free to join, allows members to earn five points on every product bought online and in store, alongside earning points on fuel. It also offers exclusive deals and discounts based on previous shopping history.
The new Morrisons More Partner Points is now live for members to take advantage of when shopped through the More app and website, where the full list of participating partners can be found.
