Archana Puran Singh's Sons Hit Mumbai Streets To Get ‘Genuine Reactions' For Their New Song
Ayushmaan Sethi, who produced the music video, playfully mimicked Nana Patekar's character from Welcome on the streets.
Aaryamann Sethi, son of Archana Puran Singh and Parmeet Sethi, recently released a new song. Titled Madhubala, the song is steadily gaining traction on platforms like YouTube and Spotify. Now, to promote his latest track and connect directly with the public, Aaryamann, his brother Ayushmaan and his girlfriend Yogita Bihani hit the streets of Bandra.
In their recent vlog, the trio were seen creating a buzz with their candid street interactions and inviting passersby to listen and share their honest feedback.
Equipped with just a mobile phone, a pair of headphones, and a bright yellow poster that read 'Hey, come listen to our song", the group set up right by Marine Drive as the street lights began to twinkle. Aaryamann, visibly nervous about public reactions, admitted, 'What if people don't like it?" However, his anxiety soon turned into delight as curious onlookers stopped, listened and praised the song.
Ayushmaan, who also produced the music video, was at complete ease, and he lightened the mood by playfully mimicking Nana Patekar's character from Welcome, while Yogita engaged warmly with fans and passersby. Their efforts quickly paid off when the first person stopped to listen, and soon more and more people stopped to give the song a listen.
Fans' Honest Reactions
While some people who stopped and listened to the song did not recognise the brothers or Yogita, a lot of fans rushed to click pictures with them. Many even shared their experiences of watching the vlogs. Ayushmaan and Yogita suggested Aaryamann step away from the crowd, allowing people to experience the music without any influence.
Even when Aaryamann wasn't there, the listeners seemed to like the song and kept congratulating him. One of the listeners thought that Ayushmaan looked a lot like Parmeet Sethi and stopped to give the song a listen. On discovering that Ayushmaan is in fact Parmeet's son, who is often seen in vlogs with him, he shared that he wasn't aware that Parmeet and Archana had another son apart from Ayushmaan.
The moment brought out a vulnerable side of Aaryamann as he shared, 'I was here first. He knows both Mom and Dad and even Ayushmaan, but he doesn't know me. No matter how many vlogs I make, people will still recognise him first. It's like the other son was never there."
To lift his spirits, Yogita reminded him of the growing fan base he's building. She pointed out that people do know him, which is why they asked him to hide and hear honest opinions. She added, 'You guys keep asking for Ayush to be part of the vlogs. This is what he does when he is here."
