Television actor Vaibhav Kumar Singh Raghave, fondly known as Vibhu Raghave, passed away on June 2 after a prolonged battle with stage four colon cancer. Popular for TV shows such as Nisha Aur Uske Cousins, Suvreen Guggal, and Rhythm, he was diagnosed with the illness in 2022, and had been undergoing treatment at Mumbai's Nanavati Hospital since then. The news of his demise was confirmed by actors Kaveri Priyam and Karan Veer Mehra on social media.
Actor Addite Malik, who had a close relationship with the actor, mourned his demise. With details about his funeral, she shared a post on her Instagram account and wrote, 'The purest soul, a beacon of strength & positivity. His smile could light up any room & his presence alone made everything feel better. He faced life with unmatched grace & left behind a love that will never fade. He will be deeply missed. Always.'

Throughout his treatment, Vibhu Raghave was quite open about his experiences and shared constant updates with his fans. In fact, in a recent video, he had revealed that the disease has spread to multiple organs, including his liver, spine, bones, and lungs. However, he stayed hopeful and strong, saying, 'It was shocking. I was worried for a few days… but the only treatment right now is chemotherapy. Everything is going good now. Chemotherapy will shrink it.'

Vibhu's close industry friends, including Addite, Simple, Mohit Malik, and Anjali Anand, among others, were trying their best to crowdfund his medical expenses. A post on her Instagram read, 'Hello everyone ! A little update about our friend Vibhu @vibhuzinsta who's been our friend , coactor and our Co worker in our restaurants. He's been more than a family to us . He's still batteling with 4 th stage cancer in Nanavati hospital since last two weeks. It's been an overwhelming journey for all of us to see him go through this . He's fighting it bravely . We have exhausted our funds and We need immediate funds to save him . Pls pray for his recovery & do contribute whatever you can for his hospital treatment . Your wishes and prayers have helped us earlier too . Thankyou for immense love and prayers.'
