Martha Stewart, 83, lusts after Glen Powell, 36, as she gives Top Gun hunk a VERY flirty compliment

Daily Mail23-04-2025

had a 'sweet and spicy time' recently interviewing Glen Powell, and she's still openly lusting after the much younger movie star.
'He's very handsome in a very natural way, and he has a really nice body,' the 83-year-old lifestyle guru gushed to People on Wednesday.
'He just had on sort of a European polo shirt and he looked really good in it. He didn't have a coat; it was cold outside.'
Martha even thought 'his hair looked great' and went on about how 'charming' he was while promoting his condiment line Smash Kitchen on the April 9th episode of The Martha Stewart Podcast.
'He was very talkative,' Stewart (born Kostyra) continued.
'And he was very excited about his new sauces and he was also very nice about talking about his growing up. A good podcast candidate.'
The Twisters heartthrob was born in 1988 - the year after the 10-time Daytime Emmy winner legally separated from her husband Andrew Stewart, at the age of 46, following 26 years of marriage.
Martha has since dated Welsh Oscar winner Anthony Hopkins, Canadian billionaire Mortimer Zuckerman, and Hungarian billionaire Charles Simonyi.
Glen has been romantically linked to Vampire Diaries alum Nina Dobrev, Australian presenter Renee Bargh, and Ford Model Gigi Paris (whom he split from after rumors he hooked up with his Anyone But You producer-star Sydney Sweeney).
Speaking of which, Stewart praised Powell's performances in the 'Sydney Sweeney rom-com' and she 'loved' him in Richard Linklater's 2023 film Hit Man.
The Gardening Handbook author then listed off the ingredients of her favorite cocktail 'Martha-Ritas' to the SAG Award winner: 'It has pomegranate and lime and lemon and a salty-sweet rim, and it's so good.'
'I'm going to hit you up next time I have a barbecue,' Glen - who moved back to his native Texas last year - responded.
Martha and chef José Andrés teamed up to co-host a new cooking competition series Yes, Chef! - premiering this Sunday on NBC - in which 12 contestants compete for a $250K grand prize.
Powell will next portray Ben Richards in Edgar Wright's remake of The Running Man - hitting US/UK theaters November 7 - alongside Karl Glusman, Josh Brolin, Lee Pace, Michael Cera, William H. Macy, Sean Hayes, and Colman Domingo.
Paramount Pictures' dystopian thriller is the second big-screen adaptation of Stephen King's 1982 novel after Paul Michael Glaser's 1987 film starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.
The Ram Trucks brand ambassador managed to beat out his older rivals Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans, and Chris Hemsworth for the part of a falsely imprisoned cop who must compete in a deadly game show.
Glen's other upcoming projects include John Patton Ford's thriller Huntington for A24, John Lee Hancock's legal drama Monsanto for Netflix, and Michael Waldron's comedy series Chad Powers for Hulu.

Ryan Reynolds' £50m purchase, divorce from Hollywood actress and huge net worth

Ryan Reynolds has thrown himself into a host of business ventures since achieving Hollywood stardom, including the purchase of newly-promoted Championship club Wrexham Ryan Reynolds has partnered up with a Hollywood star to buy another sports team after the resounding success of Wrexham, which he co-owns with Rob McElhenney. The two actors have been instrumental in Wrexham's meteoric rise from non-league to the Championship in just four seasons. They became the first side in history to win three consecutive promotions in the top five leagues of English football. The fairytale rise has made Wrexham a world-renowned name, with the club just one promotion away from the lofty heights of the Premier League. ‌ But the Canadian has now taken another bold step in his sports empire by teaming up with his close friend, Hugh Jackman. Reynolds and his Deadpool & Wolverine co-star have announced that they now own an Australian sailing team named the BONDS Flying Roos. ‌ The rebranded team competes in the high-profile SailGP global sailing event, a competition backed by a diverse set of celebrity investors such as football superstar Kylian Mbappe, actress Anne Hathaway, F1 legend Sebastian Vettel and heavyweight boxer Deontay Wilder. Reynolds' portfolio already includes stakes in Mexican football team Club Necaxa, Colombian side La Equidad and F1's Alpine. But for Jackman, the endeavour marks his first foray into sports ownership. "We're incredibly excited to set sail together in this new adventure," Reynolds and Jackman said in a statement. "Hugh brings a deep love for and pride in his home country as well as being an avid fan of sailing. He will also be bringing his overly clingy emotional support human along for the ride. Apologies in advance to Australia." The figure Reynolds and Jackman forked out for their new team hasn't been officially revealed but it's believed they splurged at least $50million (£37m) between them. And in light of the Wrexham co-owner's latest business move, we delve into how he amassed his colossal fortune and those who have supported him on his journey to stardom. Astonishing net worth Reynolds is reported to have an eye-watering net worth of around $400m (£295m), having been named as one of Hollywood's top earners. Forbes listed the movie star as 2024's second highest paid actor with a whopping haul of £79m, putting him just behind Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson in the fortune stakes. ‌ Reynolds owed much of his success last year to crowd-pleasers like the Marvel blockbuster Deadpool & Wolverine, while family film IF and Emmy-winning documentary Welcome to Wrexham also contributed. Beyond his box office earnings, Reynolds has shown financial acumen with shrewd business ventures, acquiring up to a 20 per cent stake in American gin company Aviation Gin before selling it in a massive $600m (£443m) deal in 2020. He also sold a large stake in mobile network company Mint Mobile to T-Mobile with the $1.35billion (£997m) deal seeing him pocket over $300m (£220m). ‌ The Deadpool star has invested a considerable sum in Wrexham, with him and co-owner McElhenney reportedly splashing out over £20m of their own money on the football club since their 2020 takeover. In 2023, an episode of Welcome to Wrexham revealed that they had lost around $12m (£8.9m) since taking over the club, with Reynolds responding by saying: "I'm going to throw up." Life with famous wife after Hollywood divorce ‌ Reynolds has been married to Gossip Girl actress Blake Lively since 2012, after meeting her on the Green Lantern film set. As their romance blossomed, they quickly became one of Hollywood's most beloved power couples, exchanging vows in a private South Carolina wedding before going on to welcome four children - James, Inez, Betty and Olin - together. Lively has been seen attending Wrexham games at the Racecourse Ground and paid a gushing tribute to the city after they secured promotion to the Championship in April. "Back to back to back," she wrote in an Instagram post. "History was made. Congratulations to @wrexham_afc. I will never forget the love and elation in that town today. Thank you for sharing it with us always." ‌ "And to these two men, @robmcelhenney & @vancityreynolds ... the love and respect that pours out of you each and together exponentially grows and creates more joy, more possibilities, more magic, more history," the actress added. "This picture feels to me like a painting of all you do for so many, while being so present and appreciative of every moment." Before marrying Lively, Reynolds made headlines thanks to his relationships with some of the most famous women in show business. In 2004, he got engaged to fellow Canadian Alanis Morissette, having met the singer at Drew Barrymore's birthday party two years earlier. They split up in 2007, with Morrissette citing the pressures of fame as a contributing factor, but they have remained close friends ever since. Reynolds, whose romantic history in the noughties reportedly included names like Sandra Bullock, Melissa Joan Hart and Charlize Theron, soon began to date actress Scarlett Johansson. The couple married in 2008 in an intimate Vancouver ceremony. ‌ But by 2010, they had parted ways, with the pair admitting that the relationship fell apart due to their busy schedules and a lack of quality time spent together. "We work and then go home," the actress later admitted to Time Out. "I'd just stare at the wall for a few hours before I got to sleep." Friendship with Rob McElhenney While they have overseen one of the most remarkable stories in football history together, Reynolds and McElhenney weren't even friends when they decided to buy Wrexham, having only briefly interacted with each other online on a few occasions. ‌ Contrary to what many believe, it wasn't Reynolds who first had the idea to take over a football club, either. Instead, it was McElhenney who spearheaded the plans after being inspired by British comedy writer and football fan Humphrey Ker to invest in a team. Despite not being a big football fan himself, McElhenney was captivated by Ker's passion for Liverpool. As a result, Ker suggested he watch the Netflix series Sunderland 'Til I Die during the coronavirus lockdown. The show piqued the interest of the It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia actor further, leading him to want his own football club to make his own documentary about. ‌ After the actor determined his budget, Ker then helped him pick out some suitable candidates. Wrexham stood out to McElhenney due to the club's history, passionate fanbase and need for new investment in the wake of the pandemic. He then approached Reynolds, who had previously messaged him about his favourite Always Sunny scene, to secure additional funding and attach another high-profile name to the club. Reynolds was excited by the idea and did not want to merely be a sponsor, but a co-owner alongside McElhenney. In November 2020, the pair purchased the club for £2m and the rest is history, with the duo now being very good friends despite not meeting face-to-face until April 2021. McElhenney has since told People that Reynolds is one of his closest friends, describing him as a "kind and generous soul, and somebody you can rely on." Hailing the actor as a "truly inspiring person," he added: "Our families have grown incredibly close, and even though we live on opposite coasts, we feel like we're right next to each other." Experts reveal how you could win Tuesday's £208,000,000 EuroMillions jackpot

To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video People who play the EuroMillions are looking forward to a chance to win the biggest jackpot the UK has ever seen. The jackpot has rolled over to a massive £ 208 million after nobody claimed the top prize on Friday. If a lucky single ticket holder manages to win the jackpot on Tuesday, June 10, they will instantly become richer than megastars Dua Lipa and Adele. But with such a massive prize pot on offer, it stands to reason that more people than normal could buy a ticket to try their luck. So, can anything be done to increase your chances of matching the six numbers and two lucky stars to win the jackpot? The Midlands is the luckiest region in the UK, as more than 1,000 people have become millionaires there since the National Lottery was launched in 1994. In comparison, only 195 people have ever won more than £ 1 million in Northern Ireland, with 408 people in Wales becoming millionaires in the same time frame. When it comes to EuroMillions, people from other European countries also take part in the draw, but you'll be pleased to know the UK is one of the luckiest countries. Some 46 out of 172 jackpot winners since September 2016 have been in the UK, analyst said – about 26%. But hold your horses if you're considering packing your bags and moving to the Midlands. A National Lottery spokesperson said: 'Certain areas have more National Lottery millionaires, but there are more people in London than the North East, for example, so after 30 years of millionaire-making, you'd expect it. 'Remember, only around 5% of big winners share their news, so your perception of where the winners are may be based on just the winners spraying champagne. There are big winners in every corner of the country.' Some players reckon buying a ticket in a shop rather than taking part online increases your chances, but a Lottery spokesperson has debunked this theory. They told Metro: 'It's up to you – buy your ticket in your local corner shop, or on the app, sitting in the bath, how you buy your ticket has no impact on your chances of winning. 'The key point is to have a ticket, without one your chance is zero.' The number of times a number has been drawn also doesn't play a role in boosting your chances. reckons the least drawn EuroMillions numbers are 22 and 40, and the numbers 26, 11 and 16 are the most overdue to feature in a draw soon. Similarly, some superstitious players use a fixed set of numbers every time, maybe choosing lucky numbers, memorable dates, or the birthdays of loved ones. But the National Lottery spokesperson said neither of these improves your chances, saying: 'Any set of numbers can be drawn, so sticking with one set doesn't make a statistical difference. 'However, we are all drawn to our own lucky numbers, and plenty of winners will say it is these that have helped them bank a big prize. 'Statistically, there is no reason why the same set of numbers couldn't come up in every single draw.' This did actually happen once – 4, 15, 23, 24, 35 and 42 were drawn in two consecutive rounds of the Bulgarian lottery back in 2009. Officials ruled it a coincidence. The Lottery spokesperson also ruled out always playing on a certain day and only playing when there is a lower jackpot as potential ways to boost your luck. This is because the odds of all of your numbers matching those drawn remain the same and will not change, no matter how big the jackpot, what day it is, or how many other people have bought tickets. 'The key is to have a ticket. No ticket, no chance – a ticket, whenever you buy it, means you are in with a chance of winning big,' the spokesperson said. However, when it comes to only playing when there is a lower jackpot, the spokesperson added: 'In general, fewer people tend to play when jackpots are lower, which means if you were to win the jackpot there is a slightly smaller chance that you would end up sharing it with another player who has the same set of numbers.' So overall, it seems like there isn't a tried and tested way to improve your odds of winning the EuroMillions jackpot. More Trending The only way to make sure you're in with a chance at all is to buy a ticket and cross your fingers. Previous British winners include those who scooped £83,000,000 in January and the £65,000,000 jackpot in February. Other recent wins include the Easter Lotto draw, in which three people won £1million, and in April a single ticket holder claimed a £5.2million jackpot – not quite as big as the sum on offer this week, but still a life-changing amount of cash.
