Sonam Kapoor celebrates 39th birthday with star-studded bash in Mumbai
Janhvi Kapoor was one of the first to arrive, and though she did not stop for photos, her blue dress caught the attention of onlookers and paparazzi. Her sister Khushi Kapoor attended the event in a black dress, accompanied by her rumoured boyfriend, Vedang Raina. The two were seen twinning in black outfits.
Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam's co-star in Veere Di Wedding, also made an appearance at the birthday celebration. Dressed in a yellow outfit, Kareena arrived with husband Saif Ali Khan. Actor Swara Bhaskar, who starred alongside Sonam and Kareena in the same film, was seen in a silver-grey jumpsuit with a jacket.
Other attendees included Karisma Kapoor in a floral blue dress, Bhumi Pednekar in a white outfit, and filmmaker Karan Johar, who posed for the photographers in a grey ensemble. Arjun Kapoor, Sonam's cousin, was also present at the event.
Sonam Kapoor, who made her Bollywood debut with Saawariya in 2007, is known for her roles in films like Delhi-6, I Hate Luv Storys, and Aisha. After taking a break from acting following the birth of her son, Vayu, in 2022, Sonam was last seen in the 2023 film Blind. Her sister and producer Rhea Kapoor has hinted at a possible sequel to Veere Di Wedding, which could mark the actor's return to the big screen.

‘Lahore Se Dilli': Man's Artistic Tribute To Grandparents' Partition Story Is A Must-Watch
Last Updated: A Delhi-based artist turned his grandparents' old Ambassador car into a moving piece of art by hand-painting it with bold colours and unique designs. The Ambassador car is more than just a car for many Indians. It's a symbol of nostalgia and legacy. And one Delhi-based artist, Param Sahib, gave it a colourful twist like never before. He turned his grandparents' old Ambassador into a moving piece of art by hand-painting it with bold colours and unique designs. His artwork, titled Lahore Se Dilli, tells the story of his grandparents who moved to India from Lahore after the partition. He spent four weeks carefully turning the car into a moving canvas filled with pop culture references, tradition and colour. Taking to Instagram, the artist wrote, 'I painted a vintage ambassador car in almost 28 days and shot it with a drone in the heart of the city. The Baap of all my DIYs. The Hand Painted car titled – LAHORE SE DILLI, was an ode to my grandparents' travelling to India post partition from Lahore and how Love was the only constant in all the generations. This Labour of Love project took over 7 months to conceptualise and approximately one month to paint, with a great team, execution and a launch party to remember. My heart beams with joy and happiness every time I see this car." Internet Is Loving It Reacting to the post, a user wrote, 'So amazing, so colourful and intricate." Another shared, 'How much talent we have in India, I'm so proud." 'Omg this is my literal dream," a comment read. An individual stated, 'A beautiful one-of-a-kind masterpiece! Love it." Another mentioned, 'Omg I love it. So many happy childhood memories with the ambassador." One more added, 'Most gorgeous." Param Sahib's Love For Art And Colours: In an earlier interview with Hindustan Times, Param Sahib, discussing his love for art, had said, 'Param's art often reflects his own personal experiences. It's an honest feeling put on canvas. This is why people can relate to it on a larger scale. My art gives me a sense of being myself without any inhibitions. That's the thing with art. It's always fearless. As an artist, I am able to bring out the truth without saying much. It doesn't go down well with some but the way it stirs others to believe in themselves is what keeps me going." Param's love for bright colours comes from his childhood. He spent a lot of time at his grandparents' home in a village in Punjab, where everything was filled with colour and energy. Growing up in such a lively environment made him fall in love with bold shades. Being Punjabi, he feels that wearing happy and bright colours is just a natural part of life. Alia Bhatt Visits Bhansali's House Amid Love & War Delay Rumours, Smiles For Paps
Amid Love & War delay rumours, Alia Bhatt was spotted at Sanjay Leela Bhansali's house, flashing a big smile and waving at paps. Here's what she wore. Alia Bhatt was spotted outside Sanjay Leela Bhansali's residence on Wednesday night, putting to rest the recent buzz around a possible delay in the much-anticipated period drama Love & War. The film, which also stars Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal, is currently scheduled for a March 2026 release. As speculation mounted about the film missing its deadline, Alia's visit to Bhansali's house has been interpreted by fans as a silent confirmation that the project is still on track. The actress looked cheerful as she greeted paparazzi with a warm wave and a big smile. Dressed in casual chic, Alia opted for a simple white T-shirt paired with wide-legged blue denims. She kept the look clean with black sling-back heels and a black shoulder bag. Her hair was pulled back in a neat low ponytail, and she completed the look with minimal makeup and dainty gold hoops, radiating effortless elegance. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Snehkumar Zala (@sneyhzala) Reports earlier this week had claimed that the film might not meet its March 2026 deadline. A source had told The Hollywood Reporter India, 'After the sequence is filmed, which promises to be of an epic scale involving Vicky and Ranbir, the team aims to wrap up by January 2026. It will be impossible for Love & War to finish post-production and come on the big screen two months later in March. So the film might get pushed." However, other sources close to the production have denied these claims, suggesting the film is progressing as planned. Love & War was officially announced in January 2024 via a signature poster featuring the lead trio—Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, and Vicky Kaushal. The film marks Alia's second collaboration with Bhansali after the critically acclaimed Gangubai Kathiawadi and Ranbir's reunion with the director after his 2007 debut Saawariya. Details of the plot are still under wraps, but anticipation around the film continues to grow with every update. With Alia Bhatt making time to meet Bhansali amid shooting schedules and rumours, it seems the team is focused and determined to deliver on time.
