Peter Andre reveals 'most embarrassing' moment after huge on-air blunder
Peter Andre has opened up about the 'most embarrassing moments of his life', as he shares his thoughts on Lady Gaga's recent tumble during a recent gig in the US.
The American hitmaker was kicking off the Mayhem Ball at the T-Mobile Arena on July 16 in Las Vegas, Nevada as she was spotted losing her footing and falling over during the performance. As the star moved towards the barrier to engage with her front-row fans she fell over whilst performing one of her tracks Vanish Into You.
In the clips shared online, the star could be seen stumbling as she walked passed a cameraman, who nearly lost his balance too, just before she rather ironically sang the lyrics, "Into the night ... we fall," and then crashed to the floor, landing on her backside.
However Lady GaGa bounced back like a professional and carried on her stroll by the barrier, the Mirror reports.
Peter who is currently finishing a new album and best known for his 90s smash Mysterious Girl, commented on Lady GaGa's mishap in his exclusive column with OK! this week about what he describes as one of the: "I saw Lady Gaga 's awkward faceplant at a gig. It's awful when that happens. But I doubt she'll be having sleepless nights over it – these things happen during live shows."
He continued, referencing the notorious moment when the Queen of Pop Madonna tumbled down stairs whilst performing Living for Love at the 2015 Brit Awards, before admitting he'd experienced similar mortification: "Look at the Madonna incident, for example. Admittedly, on a smaller scale, it happened to me once on the T4 stage."
"Walking down steps, I tripped and fell. It was so embarrassing – and it was on TV. But people forget... until you remind them about it, which I just did."
During a 2023 episode of Sky's Extraordinary Life Stories, Peter reflected on the unforgettable blunder whilst performing live on stage, sharing the cringe-worthy moment from the T4 on The Beach festival in 2009 with presenter John Reynolds.
The dad-of-five stated: "I appeared on the episode to discuss lots of topics, including my childhood, career highlights and family life. We also discussed the funny moments in my career, including my unfortunate trip off the stage at T4 On The Beach, among other things."
The accident happened whilst Peter was belting out his then-latest track Behind Closed Doors. He stumbled whilst singing to the packed audience and ended up plummeting straight off the stage, his glasses flying off in the process.
However, demonstrating true professionalism, he persevered and refused to let the fact his glasses slid of his face prevent him from completing his performance.

Hollyoaks star David Tag engaged after popping the question in romantic Ibiza proposal
Former Hollyoaks star David Tag, who played Sylver McQueen on the soap from 2018 to 2022, has announced he and girlfriend Abi Harrison are now engaged after he popped the question Hollyoaks star David Tag has announced his engagement to Abi Harrison after popping the question in a very romantic way. The actor, who played Sylver McQueen on the Channel 4 soap from 2018 until 2022, is holidaying in Ibiza with his girlfriend Abi Harrison and took her down to the beach during a sunset on the Mediterranean island where he got down on one knee. He posted a series of photos on Instagram and a short video which showed that beauty therapist Abi immediately accepted his proposal and they shared a kiss in front of the ocean. Alongside the post, David wrote: "This years Ibiza turned out to be a bit more eventful than normal," and a flurry of his former co-stars rushed to send their congratulations. Former Waterloo Road actress Chelsee Healey - who stars as David's on-screen sister Goldie McQueen on Hollyoaks - wrote: "Omg congratultions so so happy for you - and James Sutton, better known to soap fans as John Paul McQueen, simply wrote: "YESSSSSS!!!!!" and emblazoned his post with a series of red heart emojis. Former I'm A Me Of Here! campmate Owen Warner, who found fame as Romeo Nightingale on Hollyoaks, wrote: "Congrats big man [red heart emoji]", and was joined by other co-stars such as Isabelle Smith, Nikki Sanderson and Bethannie Hare, who also sent their congratulatory messages. The couple have been together since 2019, and they moved in together at the onset of the COVID-19 lockdowns the following year. In 2021, they welcomed baby Reuben to the world, and it was then that the idea of marriage was first spoken about. Even though it has taken a few years for the pair to actually get engaged, they admitted at the time that tying the knot was something they hoped would happen eventually. Asked if they have discussed getting engaged, they didn't shirk the question. Abi added: "We both want to get married, but there's no pressure." At the time, the couple even noted that there could even be more children on the way sometime in the future. David said: "We instantly made ourselves broody again when he came out and we saw how cute he was! We would like more than one." The actor admitted he's been feeling some 'dad guilt' after returning to work just 10 days after Reuben was born. He told OK!: "It's been completely life-changing but we've taking it in our stride, especially Abi. I've been at work a lot of the time but Abi has taken it on like she's done it all before. "The labour was just over three hours. It was really good and really quick – well, really good for me, maybe not so much for Abi!" In 2023, the couple announced they were expecting their second child and son Kaspar arrived in September of that year. Prior to landing his signature role on Hollyoaks, David appeared in a single episode of ITV's soap Emmerdale before joining the Channel 4 drama in a regular role. His character arrived having been released from prison following the murder of his abusive stepfather, and his storylines featured him trying to build a relationship with his sister after nearly 20 years behind bars. In early 2022, David bowed out of the long-running show, which is gearing up to celebrate his 30th anniversary, when his alter-ego died in an explosion at the Pateserie. Since leaving the serial, he has appeared in an episode of Meet the Richardsons and has been a regular in pantomime during the Christmas season. However, behind-the-scenes he was in pain and suffering from varicose veins, and only opened up about the issue after he had quit the serial. Appearing on This Morning with Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary, David revealed a small vein began to appear more than ten years ago. He went on: "When it got hot or when it got cold it was painful, and to touch it was quite sensitive." The actor revealed he was particularly impacted when trying to play with his kids and while training in the gym. Recalling being on set, David said: "A lot of the times I would take my clothes off for certain scenes, and I would try and hide it." "I wanted to do the scenes so I would just position myself in a certain way so they couldn't see it," he continued, saying he was "a little bit embarrassed of it". David sought treatment after realising it 'wouldn't go away', and as the size of the vein increased, he realised: 'This is getting out of hand, I need to get it sorted.' The star underwent a treatment involving laser on both his legs, which left him wearing stocking-like clothes and unable to train for a week. 'Now, you wouldn't even be able to tell it was there,' he said, revealing his confidence has since increased.

Ellen DeGeneres' stunning Cotswold farmhouse with its own pub for sale
The TV host swapped her life in Beverly Hills for the Cotswolds cobbles just last year, but now her impressive farmhouse is back on the market, and it is a sight to behold The famous talk show host left the Hollywood Hills behind to make a new life for herself in the English countryside, along with her wife, actor Portia de Rossi, but now the two are selling their Cotswolds home. Ellen reportedly moved into the home in November 2024 but is already on the hunt for a new pad again a short-term stay turned into a full-time homestead. After hearing the US election results, the couple decided they weren't quite ready to go back to the States, and what was supposed to be a break turned into a new lifestyle. Although, after appearing at a one-off show hosted at Cheltenham's Everyman Theatre, the Daily Mail reported Ellen opened up to fans about her plans to sell up. The 67-year-old explained: 'We decided we needed a different house, and now we are selling that house. So if anyone wants a house, it's a beautiful stone farmhouse." Now, the pair have settled into a new home nearby as they anticipate the sale of Kitesbridge Farm, a 43-acre farmhouse they renovated from six bedrooms to seven and an additional two-bedroom guest cottage. The farmhouse is made up of a gym, an indoor pool, a games room, private offices, and, of course, in true celeb style, a helipad. No swanky Cotswolds escape is complete without its very own pub, even for an American like Ellen. Initially, the couple was thought to have paid a sizeable £15 million for their idyllic home, but following their personal touches and expansions, it is now on the market for an eye-watering £22.5 million. The heart of the home is the spacious farmhouse kitchen and breakfast room on the ground floor. Sharing the floor is a principal bedroom suite, fit with two luxurious dressing rooms, a marble ensuite, and beautiful French doors leading out to a private space in the greenest of gardens. Sitting comfortably in the small village of Asthall in West Oxfordshire, this vast estate is just a 10-minute drive from Burford and is surrounded by plenty of famous spots. This includes the likes of Asthall Manor and Jeremy Clarkson's much-loved charming country pub, The Windmill. Further explaining their eccentric move to the countryside, the TV star explained it was the day before the US election that the two moved to the UK. After hearing the news about Trump, they decided to stay put for a while, and that little while quickly turned into eight months and an entire house revamp. Ellen shared: "So we bought a house that we thought was going to be a part-time house. Then we decided we needed a different house, and now we are selling that house. So if anyone wants a house, it's a beautiful house. It's a beautiful stone farmhouse. To clarify, I'm not selling the new one. I'm selling the old stone farmhouse." Touching further on her time here in the UK, she said: "I really like the people. Fish and chips are delicious too. The UK is beautiful. It is absolutely beautiful. We are just not used to seeing this kind of beauty. Even in the villages and the towns, I love the architecture and houses. Everything you see here is charming. It is a simpler way of life," The Daily Mail reports. It was reported in April that the comedian had swapped her idyllic home in Asthall for an alternative mansion on the outskirts of another Oxfordshire village. The move seemed to be handled with discretion, but House & Garden has unveiled that their new, more modern pad spans 10,000 square feet and is no more lacking in luxury, with an infinity pool, theatre, and gym.
