He received updates from Housing Minister Sherif el Sherbiny atop the 66th floor of the iconic tower, the tallest on the Mediterranean at 250 meters.
The project includes four additional towers at 200 meters high housing a total of 2,631 residential units, 231 commercial units, and 114 administrative units.
The minister added that work is ongoing on artificial crystal lagoons covering 108 feddans, featuring leisure and retail islands.
Downtown Alamein also includes 40 residential buildings with 1,320 units and over 75,000 square meters of commercial space. So far, 705 residential and 13 commercial units have been delivered.
The Premier also reviewed the Downtown expansion area, which includes 896 additional units and has surpassed 85% completion.
Additionally, he followed up on the overpass at C19 Road and railway intersection, and utility infrastructure for the 748-feddan Chinese Towers zone. (MENA)

Abdelatty expressed readiness of Egyptian companies to support Chad's efforts in constructing dams and rainwater harvesting wells. Furthermore, he emphasized Egypt's commitment to supporting the establishment of a diplomatic studies institute in Chad to train Chadian cadres. CAIRO, July 22 (MENA) -- Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty said the Egyptian state pays great attention to its citizens living abroad. Abdelatty was speaking during a meeting with the Egyptian expat community in Burkina Faso on Tuesday, as part of his visit to Ouagadougou, the second leg of his current West African trip. Abdelatty reviewed the ministry's efforts to improve consular services by adopting modern digital mechanisms and streamlining procedures for more efficient and fast services. He also highlighted the ministry's endeavors in coordination with various state bodies to deal with any challenges facing Egyptian expats communities. The minister also discussed ongoing preparations for the sixth edition of the Egyptians Abroad Conference, which will be held under the slogan "From is the Destination," on August 3-4 in New Cairo. Abdelatty also touched on a number of initiatives launched by the government to support Egyptians living abroad and strengthen their connection to their homeland, such as a zero-customs car import initiative, a recruitment settlement initiative, 'Your Home in Egypt' initiative, 'Your Farm in Egypt' initiative, and an instant remittance transfers service via InstaPay mobile application, among many other initiatives to facilitate investment procedures for Egyptian expats and encourage their contribution to major national projects. FM opens Egyptian-Burkinabe Business Forum
CAIRO, July 22 (MENA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigration Badr Abdelatty Tuesday inaugurated the Egyptian-Burkinabe Business Forum at the headquarters of the Burkinabe Chamber of Commerce in Ouagadougou. The forum was attended by Karamoko Jean-Marie Traoré, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Burkina Faso, Roland Sow, President of the Burkinabe Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and high-level participation from the business communities of both countries. A delegation of 30 businessmen, CEOs, and representatives of major Egyptian companies operating in various sectors participated in the forum, led by Sherif El Gebali, Chairman of the African Cooperation Committee at the Federation of Egyptian Industries (FEI). The forum featured meetings between representatives of Egyptian and Burkinabe companies, providing an opportunity to establish partnerships between businessmen and company representatives, as well as to explore joint projects in various sectors, including agriculture, pharmaceuticals, infrastructure, mining, manufacturing, and new and renewable energy. In his speech, Abdelatty said the forum is aimed to opening direct channels of communication between the two countries' business communities. He called on the participating private sector leaders to seize available investment opportunities in both countries and work to build partnerships based on trust, sustainability, and mutual benefit. The top Egyptian diplomat praised the seriousness and shared political will reflected in the forum to enhance economic, trade, and investment cooperation between the two nations. Abdelatty ascribed the significant increase in Egyptian exports to African market to the significant progress in local manufacturing, supported by unprecedented infrastructure investments exceeding $500 billion since 2014, including the development of roads, ports, railways, and new cities. The foreign minister said the forum serves as a platform for embodying the shared will to build an economic future based on continental integration and confidence in Africa's inherent potential.
