Bigg Boss Season 19 contestants list with photos: Sailesh Lodha and Payal Gamingg approached for Salman Khan show; here's a full and final list of probable contestants
Earlier, it was reported that this season would not have any social media influencers. However, with the five-month duration meeting resistance from many celebrities, the makers had to also reach out to some content creators to join Bigg Boss 19.
Now, SCREEN has exclusively learned about two other names who have been added to the list of probable contestants. According to our source, Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actor Sailesh Lodha and social media influencer Payal Dhare aka Payal Gamingg have been approached to participate in Salman Khan-hosted Bigg Boss 19. While Sailesh has not responded to the offer yet, Payal is in the final leg of discussions.

Since quitting Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah in 2022, Sailesh Lodha has received multiple offers to join Bigg Boss. Although Sailesh previously stated that he had no interest in participating in a show like Bigg Boss, it seems he may have had a change of heart. The actor was recently approached for Bigg Boss 19, though his participation is not confirmed yet.

Social media influencer Payal Dhare, fondly known as Payal Gamingg, has a fan following of 4 million on Instagram. She is the latest celebrity to be approached for the Salman Khan-hosted show. Payal, who is known for her gaming skills, has collaborated with Rohit Sharma, Chaitanya Akkineni, and Sonakshi Sinha.
3. Gurucharan Singh

This year, a lot of former actors from TMKOC have been approached for Bigg Boss 19. A few reports suggest that the former Sodhi, aka Gurucharan Singh, has been confirmed for the show. Gurcharan made headlines in 2024 after he disappeared from his home in Delhi for almost a month.

Another celebrity who is supposed to be almost confirmed for the show is social media influencer Mr Faisu. Mr Faisu was last seen as a finalist on Celebrity MasterChef Season 1. He was also in the news for his rumoured breakup with actress Jannat Zubair.

Singer Sreerama Chandra, who won Indian Idol in 2010, has participated in Bigg Boss Telugu Season 5. He was last seen on Jhalak Dikkhla Jaa 11. Now, Sreerama is reportedly one of the confirmed contestants of Bigg Boss 19.

Social media influencer Dhanashree Verma, who is cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal's ex-wife, was last seen on the big screen in Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi's Bhool Chuk Maaf. She was also a finalist on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11 and is now said to be an almost confirmed contestant of Bigg Boss 19.

Social media influencer Apoorva Mukhija was in the news this year for being part of the controversial India's Got Latent episode. Apoorva seems to be another confirmed contestant for Bigg Boss 19. When SCREEN had asked her about her participation in the Salman Khan-hosted show, Apoorva had said, 'Never say never.'

On Sunday, SCREEN exclusively reported that Bigg Boss Season 19 will feature 15 contestants, with approximately three wild card entries joining in the later weeks. The show is set to run for five months and will stream first on JioHotstar, followed by a delayed telecast on Colors 90 minutes later.

The BBC has launched an internal investigation into 'Strictly Come Dancing' following fresh allegations of drug use on set, reigniting turmoil around the flagship show. The Sun reported that two unnamed stars were accused of taking cocaine, prompting the broadcaster to hire an external legal firm to lead the probe. 'We have clear protocols and policies in place for dealing with any serious complaint raised with us,' a BBC spokeswoman told Deadline. 'We would always encourage people to speak to us if they have concerns. It would not be appropriate for us to comment further.' Deadline reported that the legal team will report directly to an internal BBC unit handling the matter. According to The Sun, the original accusations stemmed from a legal submission made months ago by Russells law firm on behalf of former contestant Wynne Evans. The claim alleges that two individuals—whose identities have not been disclosed, nor whether they are professional dancers or celebrity participants—used cocaine, and that the behaviour was 'well known on set'. Evans, who was recently let go from his BBC radio show after being caught on camera making a lewd comment during the Strictly live tour, commented on Instagram: 'It breaks my heart to say the BBC has decided not to renew my contract so I won't be returning to my radio show.' Bhopal doctor gets fake Bigg Boss entry offer, gets duped of Rs 10 lakh
A famous dermatologist from Bhopal has allegedly been cheated of Rs 10 lakh by an acquaintance who promised him a backdoor entry into the popular television reality show Bigg to the police, Dr Abhinit Gupta, who runs the prominent Poison Skin Clinic in the Madhya Pradesh capital, was approached in 2022 by a man identified as Karan Singh. Claiming to be an event director with strong connections in television production circles, Karan assured Dr Gupta that he could secure his entry into Bigg Boss through unofficial the assurance, Dr Gupta reportedly paid Karan Singh Rs10 lakh. However, when the official contestant list for Bigg Boss was later released and his name was absent, suspicions arose. Upon confronting Karan, Dr Gupta was told that the entry would happen through a 'backdoor process.' When this too did not materialise over time, the doctor began demanding a refund. However, Karan Singh allegedly started evading calls and eventually switched off his phone completely, prompting Dr Gupta to approach the Chunabhatti police have registered an FIR under Section 420 of the IPC (cheating) based on a complaint filed by Dr Abhinit Gupta.
