'Pulling back the curtain on untold stories': Australian legend's daughter to take cricket to the USA with podcast on Willow
Grace Hayden, 23-year-old daughter of Australian cricket legend
Matthew Hayden
, is launching a new weekly video podcast called "Game On With Grace" on Willow, America's leading cricket network.
The show aims to introduce cricket to US audiences through engaging stories and conversations, marking a fresh approach to expand the sport's presence in one of its biggest untapped markets.
The innovative podcast will feature Grace interviewing sports personalities, starting with Australian cricket icon Adam Gilchrist, who played alongside her father during Australia's dominant era in the early 2000s. Her unique perspective comes from growing up around cricket's biggest stars, as her father played 103 Tests and scored over 8,000 runs for Australia.
Matthew Hayden's daughter Grace: Loves dal and roti, is a big fan of Rishabh Pant
"Game On is about pulling back the curtain on the world of sports' untold stories," Grace explained. "I grew up in cricket's front row and have covered its biggest tournaments, but the moments that fascinate me most happen off camera. Partnering with Willow allows me to share those raw, funny, and inspiring conversations with athletes, artists, and anyone chasing greatness."
Willow CEO Todd Myers sees Grace as the perfect host to bridge the gap between cricket and American viewers.
"Grace's knowledge of the game, combined with a confident on-screen presence, makes her a uniquely powerful and authentic voice," Myers said. "This podcast will bring authenticity, energy, and a fresh voice that will resonate with both long-time cricket fans and newcomers alike."
The timing couldn't be better as cricket gains momentum in the United States. The launch of Major League Cricket in 2023 brought international stars like Ricky Ponting, Pat Cummins, and Faf du Plessis to American soil.
The country also co-hosted the 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup, with matches in New York, Dallas, and Lauderhill.

Interestingly, cricket has deep roots in America. The first international cricket match was played between the USA and Canada in 1844 at St George's Cricket Club in New York. However, the sport's popularity eventually gave way to baseball. Now, through initiatives like Grace's podcast, cricket aims to reclaim its place in American sports culture.

Ranbir Kapoor replaces noise with wearable intelligence in Gabit's new ad
Gabit has unveiled the second film in its ad campaign, featuring Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor . In a sharp, stylized narrative, Kapoor discovers that the smart ring doesn't just track steps or sleep, it acts like a gym coach, nutritionist, sleep expert and health guide rolled into one. All without saying a word. The Gabit Smart Ring is designed around four key pillars of health: Fitness, Nutrition, Stress and Sleep, the core drivers of longevity. It tracks your body with clinical-grade precision and turns that data into clear, simple insights you can act on. Built to be worn 24/7, the ring is lightweight, water-resistant, and designed to disappear into your daily life while helping you take full control of it. In the first ad, Kapoor showed how the Gabit Smart Ring keeps health on your mind. It becomes a quiet nudge that helps you make better choices throughout the day, enabling you to live healthier and longer. The second film takes it further. This time, we see how effortless the tracking really is. No conscious effort. No second-guessing. The ring works quietly in the background while you go about your life. The film builds on Gabit's signature tone: witty, relatable and grounded in real life. Kapoor delivers the punchline straight to the camera: 'Ab saare health experts hai, iss ek, Gabit ring mein.' With a simple taking off the ring, all the chaos disappears, showing how the Gabit Smart Ring replaces guesswork and noise with real, wearable intelligence. Gabit's founder Gaurav Gupta adds, 'We wanted to show how powerful the Gabit Smart Ring really is and the film does exactly that. With Ranbir's effortless screen presence, it brings our vision to life.' The ad is now live across YouTube, Instagram, and digital platforms. Watch the video here:

"Not Intentional": Pratika Rawal On Shoulder Contact With England's Lauren Filer, Sophie Ecclestone
India batter Pratika Rawal on Friday clarified that her shoulder contact with England cricketers during the first Women's ODI was "not intentional" after she was fined and handed one demerit point by the ICC. The ICC had earlier imposed a 10 per cent match fee fine and handed a demerit point to Rawal for breaching its Code of Conduct, saying the Indian batter engaged in "avoidable physical contact" with England's Lauren Filer and Sophie Ecclestone in the 18th and 19th overs. "It was not intentional. I was just running in my way and that shoulder barge thing was completely out of... It was not deliberate in that sense," Rawal told the media on the eve of the second ODI here. "I don't think there is a (need to have a) reaction to it or maybe (make) a fuss out of it. It was not intentional," she added on the incident that took place at Southampton. England were also fined five per cent of their match fee for maintaining a slow over-rate during the opening ODI which India won by four wickets. The ICC said both Rawal and England captain Nat Sciver-Brunt "accepted their respective sanctions" imposed by the match referee. Rawal said India are focussing on one game at a time given they are coming off a 3-2 win in the five-match T20I series and need only one win from next two matches to win the ODI series. "We are taking just one game at a time. Currently, our prime focus is to win this series. To win the next match, we are already up in the series. Our prime focus is to win this series with 3-0, that will be great," she said. "Also, what I feel like, keeping one thing at a time, it helps with better focus and better concentration so we are just on that note," she added. The right-handed top-order batter said scoring against teams like England Australia - with whom India will play three ODIs before the World Cup at home - will give her a lot of confidence. The opener made a 51-ball 36 in the first match that India won by four wickets. "Scoring well against teams like England and Australia gives you a lot of confidence and when we get a lot of matches against them, it builds a type of confidence that is required in the upcoming series and matches," Rawal said. "It's a great initiative to play as many matches as we can. Also, the fact that the way our team is progressing right now is amazing and there has been a lot of contribution from all the players," she added.
