A FORMER EastEnders star has spoken out about her fight to build her career following her harsh exit from the soap.
The actress, who played one of Walford's matriarchs from 2017 to 2024, told fans about her work strife on social media.

Lorraine Stanley, who portrayed Karen Taylor, was written out of the show in 2023 as part of a shock cast shake-up.
The soap star, 48, has been brutally honest about how hard it has been finding work since being axed from the show.
She shared a funny photo on her Instagram Stories wearing oversized glasses and pulling a humorous face.
The star wrote alongside it: "I didn't get the job, but at least I still got my good looks and sense of humour.
"But it's given me some confidence getting back in the room and I did get some good feedback...
"So onwards and upwards."
Lorraine played downtrodden laundrette worker Karen since 2017.
She earned the 2018 British Soap Award for Best Newcomer and the 2019 Inside Soap Award for Funniest Female.
But Lorraine previously told The Sun she wouldn't be returning to the BBC soap in a hurry.
She admitted: "I'm a busy mum at the moment. I don't plan on doing anymore soaps, once you've done a soap, you've done a soap.

"At the moment I'm auditioning, I'm just doing self-tapes, which is soul-destroying. It's horrible, I'm so bad at it."
Behind the scenes she has embarked on a weight-loss and fitness journey with a total body transformation.
The star is now slimmer than ever after showing off her five-stone body makeover.
Sharing before and after pictures last year, she told fans that she'd been making "healthy choices".
Since leaving the soap, Lorraine has acted alongside other soap legends in gritty British film Departures.
She joined Hollyoaks hunk David Tag and Coronation Street's Kimberly Hart-Simpson in the project.
The movie is described as "Shirley Valentine meets LGBTQ Trainspotting".

Jeremy Clarkson has lashed out at security officers after finding himself caught up in JD Vance's visit to the UK. The so-called 'no-fly zone' was set up around the Cotswolds for the US Vice President's trip to the UK this month. Vance is staying at the 18th Century Dean Manor in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire. As the controversial politician and his security team descend upon the small-town English hamlet, local residents have had their lives disrupted by 'the circus' his visit entailed. One such local is Diddly Squat boss Jeremy Clarkson, who found himself entangled in the Hillbilly Elegy author's no-fly zone. With his drone intercepted by members of Vance's security team, the miffed Grand Tour host snapped back in typically Clarkson fashion. Clarkson had been using the drone to film the latest series of his hit show Clarkson's Farm, which uses the gadget to shoot certain scenes. As he explained in The Times, Clarkson was approached by a member of Vance's security team who asked him: 'Is that your drone?' When he responded in the affirmative, the TV presenter-turned-farmer was reportedly told: 'You aren't allowed to fly that today.' Clarkson claims that he then told the officer to 'f***k off,' to which he replied: 'OK.' Clarkson had previously shared a picture of Vance's no-fly zone to his Instagram account. He captioned the map: 'The JD Vance no-fly zone. We are the pin. So on the downside, no drone shots today. On the upside, no annoying light aircraft.' The TV star's pin showed Diddly Squat's location on the outskirts of the red circle. Meanwhile, one unnamed source told The Daily Mail: 'Dean Manor is as close as possible to Mr Clarkson's farm house as can be. I'm willing to bet Clarkson can see it out of his bedroom window.' Detailing the disruption, farm manager Kaleb Cooper commented on Clarkson's post: 'My wheat got wet in the trailer last night as the convo stopped me in the rain in [Chipping Norton]. 'I could have easily went on my way and got it in the shed without getting in the way.' Cooper added: 'He he just drove around in a vw polo nobody would know who he was 😂' In a message shared by The Telegraph, house owners Johnny and Pippa Hornby apologised to locals for the disruption, with Mrs. Hornby describing herself as 'so sorry for the circus that is there for the next few days.' MasterChef star Thomasina Miers has hit out at the BBC for sacking host John Torode after racist accusation back in 2018 was upheld by broadcaster following investigation Thomasina Miers has achieved great success since being crowned winner of MasterChef in 2005 under the judgement of John Torode and Gregg Wallace. At the time of winning the coveted trophy, both John and Gregg were held in great esteem by the amateur chefs and production staff. But now, both presenters have had their careers blighted by upheld accusations and have been sacked by the BBC following an investigation into their use of offensive language and inappropriate behaviour. It comes after John Torode's wife Lisa Faulkner broke her silence after his MasterChef sacking. Since news of their sacking emerged, Thomasina, 49, has finally broken her silence and has come out in support of John Torode as she believes he was "hung out to dry", by the broadcaster. John was sacked from his role on the show after he was accused of using a racist term. The term was allegedly made while on set in 2018 and the show's production company deemed the term as "seriously offensive." In an interview with The Sunday Times, Thomasina said: "I cannot believe that John got hung out to dry like that. Twenty years of his life of dedicated service. John is like the least racist person I've ever met … I just don't get it." Gregg was also sacked over inappropriate behaviour and his use of sexual jokes. And while Thomasina only felt compelled to comment on John, she seems to have an understanding of "smutty" jokes in the kitchen. She continued: "I have a really smutty sense of humour so God knows what the BBC would make of some of the banter we have. I don't think they'd approve but we have a lot of fun in the kitchens." She added: "Obviously you can't be making other people feel uncomfortable, but equally I think you have to have fun and be able to have a joke … The kitchen is notoriously full of innuendo and double meanings." Thomasina is the owner of restaurant chain Wahaca. After much deliberation, the BBC decided to air this year's series which was filmed before both presenters were told to step down from their role. However, the episodes were edited in a desperate bid to show a reduced amount of interaction between the amateur chef and the show hosts. And according to reports two contestants asked to be edited out of the series. Reflecting on her time on the show twenty years ago, Thomasina said the show has a special place in her heart as it was the first time she was told she was good at cooking. She added: "It was the first time someone said, 'You're really good at this, this is what you should be doing', I went to quite an academic school [St Paul's Girls' School in Hammersmith, west London], so being a chef felt not like a proper career." In her restaurants, loyalty from her long-term staff is rewarded with either a month long sabbatical or a trip to Mexico. She said: "We have really good parties. You've got to have fun at work. I'm obviously not condoning any kind of inappropriate behaviour … but if you are, you know, good friends, you just have fun. Kitchens are notorious for smutty behaviour but it's fun, light-weight."
