My two main priorities have been to structure collective governance among IMEC MoU signatories, and launch diagnostic and feasibility studies — an essential step to assess investment needs. Following this preliminary phase, a precise development plan will be defined, with the private sector playing a central role. Many infrastructure and investment projects already exist along the IMEC route. The challenge is to accelerate capacity development or build the missing links, particularly for the rail segment in the Middle East. The port of Marseille is already a multidimensional connectivity hub and a gateway to Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. I believe that this is an ambition shared by India and France – as illustrated by France organizing the inaugural IMEC Sherpas meeting in May 2025, and India convening the first IMEC Steering Committee meeting in early August in New Delhi. The year 2026, designated as the India-France Year of Innovation, will offer further opportunities to advance this approach and explore solutions to key challenges in digital connectivity, which is one of the pillars of IMEC alongside logistics and energy connectivity.

After Facebook, Twitter suffers massive outage in US: How to solve 'something wrong' error message
Synopsis X, formerly Twitter, experienced a widespread outage affecting thousands of users globally, including nearly 1,000 reports from India. Starting around 8:30 PM IST, users reported issues accessing the platform via the mobile app and web version. The outage prevented users from accessing timelines and profiles, displaying an error message: 'Something went wrong. Try reloading. Reuters Users said that they could not access their timeline and see other profiles. An error message read: 'Something went wrong " Elon Musk's owned X, formerly known ax Twitter, is currently experiencing a widespread outage for users across the US. X is reportedly down for thousands of users across the globe this afternoon. According to Downdetector, reports of the downtime began around 11:01 a.m. ET (8:30 pm IST), and the number of affected users has since grown into the a site that monitors and tracks online outages, showed 10,600 reports at the time of writing this story. The Elon Musk-led company is yet to issue a statement about the least 5,364 outages have been reported on the site Downdetector this afternoon. Earlier in the day, multiple users in the US and Europe complained they were unable to use Facebook on Thursday. While many users were unable to access their accounts, others reported facing issues in accessing business pages or Messenger as well. When they tried to view their account, they met with a message reading, 'Sorry, something went wrong. We're working on getting this fixed as soon as we can.'Users said that they could not access their timeline and see other profiles. An error message read: 'Something went wrong. Try reloading.' X's Developer Platform status page did not report any incidents for Thursday. In the meantime, frustrated users have flocked to rival social media sites to share their woes, flooding timelines with questions like, 'Is it just me, or is X down for everyone?'ALSO READ: US citizens to receive stimulus check of $2,000 in August? If it doesn't work, try logging out and back into your account. Clearing browser cache and cookies can also experienced outage twice last month. On July 23, about 74% faced trouble accessing X on web, while 23% reported issues with the app. On July 2, outage-tracking website showed more than 15,400 users reporting issues with the platform.
