PISQ students shine in FBISE SSC annual exam

In yet another proud moment for Pakistan International School, Qatar (PISQ), its students have once again demonstrated academic excellence in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Annual Examination 2025 conducted by the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE), Pakistan.
PISQ students achieved top four positions in the SSC-I Examination among all Pakistani schools in Qatar, showcasing the school's continued legacy of outstanding performance. The FBISE officially announced the results of SSC Part-I and Part-II on July 16, 2025.
In SSC-II, PISQ students earned a total of 48 'A1' grades, while 31 'A1' grades were recorded in SSC-I. The school's overall pass percentage in SSC-II stood at an impressive 98.60%, with 214 students appearing in SSC-II and 250 students in SSC-I.
SSC-I (Part I) Toppers – Pakistani Schools in Qatar:
1. Arzanish Ahmad – 1st Position – 488/510 marks
2. Maryam Ali – 2nd Position – 497/520 marks
3. Farria Javaid – 3rd Position – 490/520 marks
4. Khadija Farooq – 4th Position – 480/520 marks
SSC-II Science Group (PISQ Toppers):
• Minahal Naeem – 1st Position in School, 3rd overall in Qatar – 1032/1100
• Omama Naeem Gul – 2nd Position – 1030/1100
• Muhammad Majeed Ullah & Hadia Ghaffar – 3rd Position (tie) – 1025/1100 each
Other high achievers included Haadiya Fatima (1014/1100) and Danya Naseer Iqbal (1009/1100), both crossing the 1000-mark milestone.
SSC-II Humanities Group (Doha-based Pakistani Schools):
1. Zamzam Muzammal Hussain – 1st Position – 891/1100
2. Syeda Aqeela Zahra – 2nd Position – 844/1100
3. Sara Dalli – 3rd Position – 838/1100

MoECC conducts 10 inspection flights with autogyro aircraft, detects 41 environmental violations in 2025 Q2
Tribune News Network Doha The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MoECC) conducted 10 inspection flights using an autogyro aircraft, covering the northern regions of the country In the second quarter of this year. The total flight time reached 12.60 hours. This is part of the ministry's efforts to promote the use of modern technologies in environmental protection and biodiversity conservation. Mohammed Nahar Al Nuaimi, director of the State's External Reserves Office at the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, explained that the drone provided its services to the Departments of Wildlife Protection and Wildlife Development, contributing to the monitoring of 41 environmental violations, including 33 violations monitored by the Department of Wildlife Protection and eight violations monitored by the Department of Wildlife Development. He noted that the violations included encroachment on soil and vegetation, misuse of land, random waste disposal, encroachment on meadows, and the establishment of unlicensed facilities, in addition to other illegal environmental practices. Al Nuaimi added that the drone's operation is part of supporting environmental monitoring efforts through the use of modern and advanced technologies, stressing that these technologies contribute to environmental exploration and wildlife development, providing accurate information about the terrestrial and marine environment, as well as coastal monitoring, supporting scientific research, and monitoring plant and animal species. He explained that the aircraft features advanced technology that enables immediate communication between the pilot, environmental inspectors, the Environmental Operations Department, and patrol teams. He said the aircraft is also equipped with high-resolution cameras to document wildlife and marine life, which contributes to monitoring quarry activity, studying vegetation cover, and protecting biodiversity. He pointed out that the aircraft has proven its efficiency in conducting safe flights without difficulties during takeoff or landing. The ministry launched the environmental meteorological monitoring system using an autogyro helicopter in May of last year. The first flight took off from Umm Shakhut Airport in the presence of Minister of Environment and Climate Change His Excellency Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie. The tour included monitoring several wild areas and beaches. The aircraft is one of the modern technologies the ministry relies on to monitor marine coasts, provide accurate environmental data, support scientific research, monitor biodiversity, identify environmental changes in land areas, and detect violations and quickly address them. This contributes to enhancing environmental sustainability within the framework of the fourth pillar of Qatar National Vision 2030.

Bangladesh MHM School & College celebrates outstanding SSC results
Tribune News Network Doha Bangladesh MHM School & College has announced its excellent achievement in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Examination 2025, conducted under the Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dhaka. The school attained a remarkable overall pass rate of 84%, significantly surpassing the Dhaka board's average pass percentage of 67.51%. Out of 94 students who appeared in the examination, 68 successfully passed, and an impressive 14 students achieved brilliant results of GPA-5, including 13 from the Science group and 1 from the Business Studies group. Among these, 6 students earned the highly prestigious Golden GPA-5. Additionally, 16 students secured GPA 4 and above, which reflects the school's teachers and parent's relentless dedication and team works for this grand success.
