Chris Brown unleashes tirade at his record label as tour tickets still on sale

Daily Mirror13-06-2025
The Freaky Friday singer, who is currently on the European leg of his new tour, called out his record label in a row over lyrics to his new single
Chris Brown has blasted his record label on social media as he begins the European leg of his Breezy Bowl XX Tour. The American singer posted an Instagram story in which he accused the label of sending out the wrong lyrics to his new single, Holy Blindfold.
He said: 'Someone at the label has sent out the wrong lyric sheet to the music outlets so they have some crazy a** lyrics out there right now for Holy Blindfold.'
Brown, known for singing Freaky Friday and No Guidance, added: 'Please ignore them and they will change it ASAP! I'm sorry I even have to write this message. The label should be more professional and make sure they actually check with the artist (me) before they even do some dumb s*** like this!'
Holy Blindfold was released on June 13th and was produced by Jonathan Bellion and Monsters & Strangerz. Marcus Lomax and Jordan K Johnson also worked on the song, released under RCA Records.
Fans took to X to react to the Instagram story, with one writing: "Chris Brown calling RCA Records out for sending the wrong lyric sheet out for his new single Holy Blindfold was not what I was expecting on release day." Another posted: "Wow! They had one job to do. They have us singing the wrong lyrics…"
There are still tickets available to Brown's London, Cardiff, Manchester, and Birmingham shows this month, as well as his Glasgow and Manchester concerts in July.
Last month, Brown was freed on bail by a court in London after being charged with inflicting an 'unprovoked attack' in a nightclub in 2023. This allowed him to begin his world tour as part of his bail conditions.
He paid a £5 million security fee to the court as bail after being arrested the week prior and charged with grievous bodily harm. Brown had allegedly attacked a producer with an alcohol bottle at the Tape nightclub in Mayfair.
Brown had been held in custody since his arrest in Manchester, and after his bail hearing posted on social media: 'From the cage to the stage!'
The singer's last UK show will be at Manchester's Co-Op Live on July 3rd, after which he will head to Paris, France, before performing in Portugal.
His US leg will begin in Miami, Florida, at the end of July and he will also put on shows in Detroit, Washington DC, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Boston, Chicago, and Atlanta.
As the tour kicked off, Brown shared photographs of him exploring Amsterdam, where he performed on June 8th. He captioned the post: 'Fun fact: I like to sneak out by myself when I'm in different cities. It helps me feel human and normal. That's really important for my mental due to the fact that I just can't walk around freely during the day.'
The singer added: 'Keeps me grounded. Being secluded from some parts of everyday life activities will drive you insane being isolated all the time. Cook, remain humble and grateful!'

Rosie O'Donnell, 63, shocks fans with a VERY trim size 12 shape thanks to 'life saver' weight loss drug Mounjaro

Rosie O'Donnell is marveling at the slimmed down figure she has achieved with the help of weight loss drug Mounjaro. The former talk show host, 63, has been taking the drug since late 2022, yet remains in disbelief over how far she has come. In her latest Instagram post, Rosie revealed she is now a size 12 - and praised the drug as a 'life saver'. Rosie showed off her dramatic results as she went shopping for a new travel outfit, her slimmed down body on display in a fitted black track suit. 'ok so went shopping to but a comfy lounge wear outfit for my 22 hour flight to australia- was undecided as i cant see myself in this new smaller body- cam n robin took this photo of me in the dressing room - i am shocked im a 12 - #mounjaro is a life saver,' she gushed in the caption. Fans were equally impressed in the comments, with one merely stating 'WOW' (along with a few emojis) in response to the picture. Kristin Chenoweth also chimed in, writing: 'You look amazing!' Another wrote: 'It is a life changing med! Not only does it help you lose weight but decreases the inflammation in your body so you feel so much better. Rosie - you look great and hope you feel great too!!' One complimented her: ''I've been needing this for years but my insurance won't cover it. You look awesome-although your Beautiful soul shines through in ANY body.' Mounjaro 'is an injectable prescription medicine that is used along with diet and exercise to improve blood sugar (glucose) in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus,' per the official website. Back in March of this year, O'Donnell talked about her 'shocking' new size after taking the medication. In a TikTok video uploaded at the time, she explained to her followers: 'I am on Mounjaro for my diabetes and one of the side effects is you lose weight. 'But [the weight loss] is also because I had a chef for over two years in Los Angeles and I don't have a chef now. It's me cooking for [my child] Clay and me.' The TV personality then recalled how she went to a clothing store in Dublin and revealed she was a size large after previously wearing sizes XL or XXL. 'I find it shocking. I really do. I find it completely shocking,' the mom-of-five expressed. Being on Mounjaro has not only aided her in losing weight, but has made her feel 'healthier' and she is also 'sleeping better.' Back in January 2023, Rosie revealed she had been prescribed the medication and credited it with helping her drop 10 pounds during the holiday season. While taking her child to school, the star explained on TikTok: 'I need to let you know I've lost 10lbs since Christmas.' She added that she had been taking Mounjaro after a fan commented, 'You can't drop a bomb like that and not tell us HOW???' Rosie stated, 'Okay, so like two months ago, my doctor put me on... not Ozempic, Mounjaro? Something like that, and Repath.' She added, 'One I do every other week, and one I do once a week. And that and on Christmas, I stopped drinking anything except water. 'Now I have had champagne one night, that was a toast, and some wine one night, so it hasn't been 100% but I really stopped drinking like five or six Diet Coke's a day.' Rosie now only sticks to drinking water and has reduced her sugar intake while also sharing, 'And my appetite has decreased significantly. 'It's probably the meds, and I'm trying to move more, so all of those things combined, that's what it is.' In a recent weight loss update, she continued to marvel at her results with a photo of her doing stand-up. In the caption of the picture, the star penned to her followers: 'i cant believe this is me now #mounjaro #weightloss #bodydismorphia.'

"I am still completely everyday amazed and grateful and blown away that people have been helped by the book, enjoyed my story and it's helped their story." ‌ Addressing her health and the Strictly speculation after backing her colleague Sarah Hadland on the BBC show last year, Miranda went on: "That's another reason I couldn't do Strictly, heavens. The whole Lyme disease and chronic illness conditions, if you are a fellow sufferer then you know that it is one day at time with recovery. "It would be too early, the dancing every day for three months, she says as if she'd get to the final if she did it. I'll do it when I'm 60, that's what I've decided. Anyway the news is coming on Thursday, this is the pre news news." Miranda joked about the Strictly rumours, revealing she'd take part when she's 60 (Image: PA) ‌ Miranda received an outpouring of support from her followers, with The Traitors star Maddy Smedley commenting: "Omg I am now counting down till your 60 to cheer you on can't wait xxx such fun." I never felt refreshed after a night's sleep. ‌ "I could never... I'd see people would go out after work or go to a party, and then go to school and think, how are you doing that? "I just felt quite weak all the time and very strange neurological sensations as well, which doctors couldn't explain, I had every sort of test. But yes, I've never felt well." She described feeling as though she was "leading a half-life," without understanding the reason behind it, and when exhaustion caused her to collapse, it brought a "massive relief" as she could finally admit, "I can't go on". ‌ Miranda has spoken of her chronic illness, after suffering since she was 15 years old (Image: Miranda Hart Instagram) "My body stopped me, and I remember having enough sort of consciousness, as it were, to say, 'This has to be the beginning of it, this has to be, this will be my change point'." Embracing the joy to be found in even the most fleeting of moments and shared experiences. 'Our lives flourish when we cherish the bonds of love and friendship. 'So open your hearts; sing, dance, play. 'The days are still long, so simply love, and be loved.'
