Randi Mahomes—who is also a mom to Jackson and Mia—took to X, formerly Twitter, to address the speculation when sharing that she wasn't able to watch the Chiefs' preseason game against the Arizona Cardinals.
"What's up with this!!! NOT OK," she said alongside a picture of a television screen with the message: "This program is blocked in your area."
In response to the post, X user @The_GarySmith cited the breaking news alert from the unofficial Mahomes Family Facebook account about her alleged death.
"I'm just glad you're still with us," he wrote, to which she replied: "And I'm only 49 years old… they always mess up my age lol."
The account often posts breaking news alerts and falsely shared on the same day that Patrick Mahomes had died as well.
"CELEBRITYSHOCKING NEWS: Patrick Mahomes Has Tragically Passed Away at 29," read the note. "His Wife Brittany Just Broke the Shocking News to Fans."
