Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition is coming to Apple Macs on July 17: Details
On Mac, Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition will support MetalFX upscaling for enhanced performance and will support spatial audio. The game will also support tracked spatial audio with Apple AirPods by default.
Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition: Availability and eligibility
The Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition will be released on July 17, and it will be available for purchase from the App Store for Mac, GOG.com, Steam, and the Epic Games Store.
Consumers running any Mac, including iMac, MacBook Air, Mac mini, MacBook Pro, and Mac Studio, which is powered by Apple M1 chip or later, with at least 16GB of unified memory, and running on macOS 15.5 or later firmware, will be able to run this game on their system.
Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition: How will it make the most of Macs?
CD Projekt Red has confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition will be fully supported on Macs powered by Apple Silicon. This version includes all the post-launch updates released since the game's debut in 2020, including the Phantom Liberty expansion.
On Macs, the game uses Apple's Metal graphics framework to improve visual quality and performance. By integrating native support for Metal and using features like MetalFX upscaling, the game can maintain higher frame rates while reducing the load on the system. This helps deliver smoother gameplay, even at more demanding graphics settings.
In an upcoming update, the game will also support new Metal 4 features such as MetalFX Frame Interpolation and MetalFX Denoising. Frame Interpolation works by generating extra frames between existing ones to create more fluid motion, while Denoising enhances image clarity during real-time ray tracing on higher graphics settings.
Together, these additions will allow the game to reach up to 120 frames per second on supported Macs, offering a better visual experience for players without compromising performance.
What is Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition
Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition is a complete version of the open-world action RPG developed by CD Projekt Red. Set in the futuristic and dystopian Night City, the game follows the story of V — a mercenary navigating a world dominated by mega-corporations, advanced technology, and cybernetic enhancements. The Ultimate Edition includes the base game along with all post-launch updates and the Phantom Liberty expansion, which adds a new storyline and area to explore.
The game is known for its branching narrative, first-person perspective, and extensive character customisation. Players can approach missions using different playstyles — whether through combat, stealth, or dialogue choices — while exploring a richly detailed city filled with side quests, factions, and lore. The Ultimate Edition serves as the definitive version for new players, bundling all content and technical improvements into a single package.

Apple Brings Personalised Video Shopping Support to Indian Consumers
Apple is enhancing the online retail experience for Indian customers with the launch of a new feature— 'Shop with a Specialist over Video'. Rolled out via the Apple Store online, this innovative service allows shoppers in India to connect directly with Apple experts through secure, one-way video calls. This step marks another significant move in Apple's broader strategy to strengthen its presence in the Indian digital retail space. With this launch, India becomes only the second country globally to access this exclusive service. It is designed to help customers explore Apple's latest products, compare models, understand trade-in and financing options, and receive tailored recommendations—all from the comfort of their homes. The service is available Monday to Friday, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., conveniently aligning with most working hours in the country. 'India is a vibrant and dynamic market, and we're thrilled to deepen our connection with customers here,' said Karen Rasmussen, Apple's head of Retail Online. This initiative reflects Apple's continued effort to offer solutions that resonate with the unique shopping habits and preferences of Indian users. Notably, the service is accessible on both iOS and non-iOS devices, ensuring broader usability. While the Apple specialist appears on a live video stream, customers can engage using audio-only mode, preserving privacy while still receiving detailed guidance. This isn't Apple's first move to enhance its digital retail footprint in India. Earlier this year, the company introduced the Apple Store app in the country, enabling an increasingly personalised experience for Indian users. Together, these developments signal Apple's dedication to localising its customer support strategies for a market that is rapidly embracing digital commerce. 'Whether someone lives in a metro city or a smaller town, we're committed to making it easier than ever for them to access the incredible products, services, and support Apple is known for,' Rasmussen added. More than just a sales tool, the video service is intended to serve as a bridge between Apple's premium in-store experience and the growing preference among Indian consumers to shop online. By integrating personal customer service with the convenience of digital shopping, Apple is setting a new standard for tech-focused retail experiences in India. Customers can start using the service by visiting where they are just a few clicks away from expert guidance. From comparing iPhone models to learning about Mac configurations or exploring accessories, the service ensures shoppers make confident, well-informed decisions. Apple's move underscores the importance of customer-centric digital innovation in today's competitive landscape. As online retail becomes the norm, this blend of technology and human connection may very well shape the future of premium shopping experiences across India.

Apple rolls out option for online buyers in India to video call its offline retailers
New Delhi: Apple has rolled out the option to video call Apple Store retailers on its online store when purchasing a product. India is only the second country after the US to get the feature, following the launch of the online store app earlier this year. The service connects customers with an Apple Store team member via a secure, one-way video call to browse the latest Apple products, discover new features, and learn about Apple's trade-in program, financing options, and more from the comfort of their homes. 'India is a vibrant and dynamic market, and we're thrilled to deepen our connection with customers here through Shop with a Specialist over Video ,' said Karen Rasmussen, Apple's head of Retail Online. While the Specialist will appear on video, customers will remain on audio only. During the session, customers can get tailored, personalised advice, enabling them to compare models and learn more about available purchase options to decide on the product that best suits their needs. The service, offered in English, will support customers on iOS and non-iOS devices. The service is available 10AM to 7PM from Monday to Friday. 'Whether someone lives in a metro city or a smaller town, we're committed to making it easier than ever for them to access the incredible products, services, and support Apple is known for. Our team members are excited to connect with even more customers in India and provide them exceptional service as they learn what Apple products suit their needs," Rasmussen said. The development comes even as Apple doubles down on the India market not just as an export hub, but a fast-growing market for its iPhones and Macs. Apple ranked sixth in Q2 2025 in the Indian smartphone market with the iPhone 16 family accounting for over 55% of its shipments, while the iPhone 15 and 13 continued to drive demand across price tiers, according to Canalys.

Microsoft unveils Copilot mode in Edge: What is it and how to enable it
Microsoft has introduced Copilot Mode in the Edge browser, aiming to transform the browser into an AI-powered assistant and collaborator. This experimental feature reimagines web browsing by utilising an AI agent to assist users in managing tasks, navigating through information, and boosting productivity. Browse smarter with Edge's AI-powered Copilot Mode.(Microsoft) What is Copilot mode in Edge The Copilot mode on Edge offers a clean new tab page with a single input field where users can ask questions, chat, or open a website using natural language, including via voice commands. It can see all your open tabs (if you allow it to) and can give you a detailed comparison. It can speed up decision-making while reducing the need to go back and forth between different tabs. Copilot can even take action for you, like opening tabs, finding information from different websites, summarising content, translating, and managing bookings directly from your browser. Copilot is always accessible in a dynamic side panel, which helps in small tasks like summarising content and converting measurements without losing your place on the webpage. Users will soon be able to use Copilot to organise browsing into topic-based 'journeys', offering suggestions on what to do next to help resume an interrupted session. Copilot mode is completely an opt-in feature, with all the user data handled according to Microsoft's privacy standards, and it shows clear cues about what Copilot can access. The Copilot mode can easily be disabled anytime from the settings, and it will only access browsing data with the user's permission. Copilot mode availability Copilot mode in Edge is available for free for a limited time to all Edge users on Windows and Mac. Some of the features may be limited for free use, and Microsoft may expand or change the availability in the future. How to enable Copilot mode on Edge To enable this feature, users need to navigate to the Edge Copilot feature page and then follow the prompts to turn on the Copilot mode and explore its capabilities. After opting in to Copilot mode, it can easily be enabled and disabled from the browser settings at any time.
