Bengali TV actress Ditipriya Roy has come forward with serious claims against her Chirodini Tumi Je Amar co-star Jeetu Kamal, accusing him of harassment and disturbing behaviour both on and off set. In a detailed Instagram post, she shared her side of the story and revealed a series of uncomfortable interactions that left her shaken.
The Rani Rashmoni star began by addressing online chatter about her recent silence. In her words, 'Over the past few days, there has been a lot of speculation about me, and I chose to remain silent. Because I believe that 'Ignorance is bliss'."
Ditipriya recalled that the issue began when Jeetu posted a behind-the-scenes picture from their show, which she personally didn't approve of. Though the photo was eventually removed, she claims Jeetu continued to speak about it publicly, sharing a version of the incident she says wasn't true. 'The truth is, I never even spoke to him about it!" she wrote. 'I had only informed the production team… I never said anything about receiving vulgar or obscene comments."
Despite being upset, she says she was told things like: 'She can't handle things spontaneously. It was just a photo—why such a fuss?" She added, 'He also said, 'I have a lot of respect and affection for Ditipriya. Her dedication is on another level.' I want to believe that my co-actor truly respects and cares for me."
But according to Ditipriya, it didn't stop there. She shared disturbing details of private messages allegedly sent by Jeetu, which made her deeply uncomfortable. 'From the very first month, my co-actor stopped talking to me directly and only communicated via WhatsApp," she said, adding, 'When I asked him why, he said, 'I'm scared of your mother, but I have immense respect for you'."
One message in particular stood out. 'He then asked, 'Why, are you pregnant?'" she recalled, after informing him she had a doctor's appointment. In another instance, he sent her an AI-generated photo of them kissing, with a message saying, 'Good, send this to your boyfriend." She says he added, 'You'll break up with him tonight itself."
She also claimed, 'On another occasion, he messaged me saying, 'I need to talk to you, make sure your mom doesn't find out. I'm scared of her'."
Though she initially brushed off the comments as jokes, Ditipriya says the repeated behaviour began to seriously affect her. 'Over time they made me extremely uncomfortable. Some issues on the set also started bothering me. Almost everyone on our shooting floor knows about these events," she wrote.

'I have rescued two dogs whose ears were clipped, but they were pregnant. So the problem began over there—that's why there is this immense population of dogs, because they were not neutered responsibly. They have to be neutered, and they have to be sterilised," she added. Known for her love for dogs Divya revealed she has five stray dogs outside her house and five in the house. 'Do you know what a superpower street dogs have? I have been rescuing them since I was a child. I have five outside and five in my house. They think your home is theirs to protect. They think your children are theirs to guard. All they ask for in return is a little bit of kindness and just a little bit of food. I understand this, with all due respect to all the people who are scared," she said. 'I did not take any payment, as my conscience did not allow me to take it," he told the officials during the session.
