Kelly Clarkson joined onstage by daughter River Rose, 11, for song during Vegas show

Kelly Clarkson's daughter, River Rose, joined the star on stage for a surprise performance during her Las Vegas residency on Friday.
The 43-year-old singer and the 11-year-old thrilled fans while performing a duet at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.
The sweet mother-daughter duo sang Clarkson's 'Heartbeat Song' while wearing matching bedazzled t-shirts and bell bottom pants in a video shared on X.
Kelly and River were seen swaying together while holding microphones.
At one point the proud mom hugged her daughter, whom she shares with ex-husband Brandon Blackstock, 48.
The pair also had a son Remington Alexander Blackstock, nine.
The fan who posted the clip revealed that Clarkson told the audience before the duet: 'So my daughter River Rose said to me, "I wanna sing tonight!"'
Clarkson and her daughter previously performed the song together during a Las Vegas concert in August 2023.
At the time the singer noted that River had been 'jamming out to the song since she was a baby.'
She added that her daughter 'loves this song so much.'
The performer announced her Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace earlier this year in February. It came after she hosted a residency at Planet Hollywood Resort from 2023-2024.
This year's residency had been slated to kick off on Fourth of July followed by another performance the next day.
Clarkson officially kicked off her much-awaited Vegas residency last Friday - just one week after angering fans by canceling shows last minute.
Along with performing hits for the crowd, the star also apologized for canceling the opening two shows of her residency.
In a TikTok video taken by a concertgoer, Clarkson expressed, 'Man, I'm so sorry if some of y'all had [tickets to] last weekend's shows.
'I'm so sorry. We can't help our bodies sometimes, and that happens, but thank you for showing up. We're so excited.'

Author of tell-all Gwyneth Paltrow biography reveals actress' stark response to her interview request

The author of Gwyneth Paltrow 's new biography has revealed whether or not the Goop goddess herself has cracked open the book - and how she responded when the writer asked to interview her for it. Writer Amy Odell, who wrote Anna Wintour 's biography in 2022, is releasing a tell-all about the famous actress that will hit stands on July 29, and it seems like it's going to be juicy. It takes a look at her entire life thus far, as the daughter of actress Blythe Danner and Bruce Paltrow. Snippets from the new biography have already been leaked, and it includes tales from former Goop staffers, details of her late '90s relationship with Brad Pitt, and the end of her friendship with pop legend Madonna. However, it doesn't seem like Paltrow had much to do with the book, nor really wanted to. In a new interview with Vanity Fair, Odell revealed whether or not she had heard from Paltrow or her 'people' about the upcoming tell-all. 'I was in touch with her team over the course of the three-year process, pretty much most of that time,' Odell shared. She explained that she asked Paltrow's team over the course of those three year if the actress wanted to speak with her. 'Right around the time I finished, I got a no,' Odell said. The author also admitted that she had 'no idea' if Paltrow had read the book. 'You would have to ask her,' the author told Vanity Fair. During the interview, Odell also shared what she believes Paltrow's legacy is - at least, so far. 'I think that she will probably be less remembered for her acting roles, no matter how iconic, than her impact with Goop, which I would argue showed the world how much money people will spend and how much effort they will undergo to be well, no matter what science and experts tell us,' she said. The new biography has already revealed a lot, including the reason why her relationship with Ben Affleck ended in 2000. An excerpt obtained by People reads: 'Their physical chemistry couldn't overcome his self-destructive impulses, which may have even included cheating on her.' According to Odell, after the couple broke up, Paltrow, who was allegedly drawn to Affleck's intellect, said, 'I love men, even though they're lying, cheating scumbags.' And it was noted by the biographer, 'Her friends had reservations about him, because he didn't always reciprocate her affection. 'He at times seemed more interested in playing video games with the guys at his house than being with Gwyneth.' Elsewhere in the coverage of Paltrow and Affleck's romance, Odell penned: 'She spoke openly about how much she enjoyed their sex life. She told [makeup artist and her friend Kevy] Aucoin one day that she loved when Affleck [engaged in a certain sex act].' The exes starred alongside each other in two films during their coupling - 1998's Shakespeare in Love, which earned Paltrow an Oscar, and 2000's rom-com Bounce.

Famed Wanamaker Organ will again be heard by the public in fall art series in Philadelphia

One of the most famous organs in the world, which graces one of Philadelphia 's favorite public spaces, was at risk of going quiet this spring when Macy's closed up shop in the city's storied Wanamaker Building. But countertenor Anthony Roth Costanzo, the avant-garde opera star hired last year to run Opera Philadelphia, is leading an effort to let the public again enjoy the Wanamaker Organ, a National Historic Landmark-designated treasure. The organ boasts more than 28,000 wood and metal pipes hidden behind a soaring wall of gold-leaf pipes that frame the building's seven-story marble atrium. Costanzo, with $1 million in philanthropic funding, is organizing a series of public performances this fall — including opera, ballet, theater and drag — before renovations begin next year on the building's conversion to a retail and residential hub. The first event is set for Sunday, Sept. 7. 'John Wanamaker, when he built this Grand Court, said he wanted it to be the intersection of arts and commerce, and that's why he put the world's largest pipe organ into it,' Costanzo told The Associated Press in an onsite interview Thursday evening. 'This space is operatic,' he said. 'So I thought it was a perfect umbrella to bring in every arts organization I could, and all these different collaborators.' The organ was made for the 1904 World's Fair in St. Louis. Wanamaker, a successful merchant and civic leader, had it moved to his new emporium next to City Hall in 1909 and then hired a crew of 40 pipe makers to enlarge it so the sound filled the vast space. A decade later, famed conductor Leopold Anthony Stokowski performed there with the Philadelphia Orchestra as 15,000 people crowded into the great hall and mezzanines. With the merchandise now gone, the acoustics rival those of the great cathedrals, Costanzo said. 'The organ for the first time is in perfect cathedral acoustic condition, so it will be the best way to hear this instrument in the history of the space, because there's actually nothing in there,' he said. The building's new owner hopes to continue to incorporate art and culture into their plans, which include retail on the lower floors and office and residential space above. The organ adds unique challenges. 'You've got this organ music going in the grand atrium, but meanwhile you've got other uses on these upper floors looking into that space, so you have to figure out how to make that work for everybody,' said Jon McMillan, a senior vice president of TF Cornerstone, the New York-based development firm. Local civic groups, in an announcement Friday, said they hope to raise funds to bring back one of the city's most beloved annual events, a holiday light show that drew generations of families to the store. Costanzo, who continues to perform around the world, believes he can build enthusiasm for the arts by bringing it to the places where people gather, including the Wanamaker Building. And he hopes that, in turn, will help people find a way to connect with each other. 'This space is so deeply embedded in the emotion of Philadelphia,' Costanzo said. "I want them to come to Wanamaker and discover something they've never seen before.'

Joy Taylor breaks silence on Fox Sports firing months after bombshell sex lawsuit

Joy Taylor has finally spoken out on her Fox Sports split one week after it was revealed the network axed her weekday show. The host's nine-year stint at Fox came to an abrupt end after the network reportedly failed to renew her contract four months after she found herself embroiled in a bombshell sex lawsuit. Now, the 38-year-old has been left questioning her future in sports media as she addressed her Fox exit for the first time. 'Overall, like the saying 'it doesn't feel like work when you're doing something that you actually enjoy.' I think what happened to me this year took that away from me,' Taylor said on The Ringer's Higher Learning. 'I don't know if I'll get that back. I might — and maybe like when the callous forms over the wound and you get away from things you it doesn't feel, like the tremors go away, so we're not there yet — but right now, it doesn't feel that way. It doesn't feel exciting. More to follow.
