The "June Olympics," a competition between the Ohio State football players and coaches during the doldrums of summer continued this week. This time around, the competition was dodgeball, something you won't see in the traditional Summer Olympics, but that doesn't matter when we're talking about a battle among friends.
Coming into the contest, the players were on a bit of a winning streak and had a 4-3 lead in the competition. Nobody is really sure when this thing ends, and us on the outside aren't sure what competitions will be a part of all the fund, but it's clear the coaches needed a win to reel things and and tie things up.
Unfortunately for them, the players were able to win once again and now enjoy a 5-3 lead. It's not an insurmountable lead, but one that might prove difficult for the "old guys" to overcome. Here's a look at a snippet of the dodgeball win by the players. Remember, "if you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball."
We'll keep an eye on the next "June Olympics" moment and report on whether the players extend their lead or if the coaches can pull to within one point.

From the Women's College World Series to the NBA Finals to the 2028 Summer Olympics, Oklahoma City has been receiving a lot of attention recently, but with all this attention comes the question, what's the deal with all of the construction? Oklahoma City grew by 7,589 residents in 2023, according to the U.S. Census Bureau, making the overall population 702,767 compared to the population of 695,178 residents in 2022, and with growth and popularity comes construction. The 20th largest city in America has several large developments that are set to start later this year, including one that would require the largest crane in the history of Oklahoma if not the entire country. Here are a few projects to expect in the 405 in 2025. More: There's a ton of construction happening in OKC. Here are some of the biggest projects so far The Boardwalk at Bricktown project has drawn worldwide attention due to a promised second phase consisting of the tallest skyscraper in the United States. California developer Scot Matteson recently told The Oklahoman he is planning to start construction later this year on the four-tower development in Lower Bricktown. The development plan consists of two apartment towers to sit atop a parking and retail podium and a 22-story Hyatt Dream Hotel. A second phase has drawn worldwide attention โ the 1,907-foot-tall Legends Tower, if built, would be the tallest tower in the country consisting of apartments and a second hotel. Matteson previously announced start dates in 2023 and 2024. He has yet to file building permits with the city. Construction of the Berry Rock Building is set to start later this year at NE Fifth Street and Walnut Avenue. The four-story building will be home to Prism Bank and Berry Rock, a residential financing and development company. The site is on former state highway easement between entry and exit ramps. Grant Willoughby, developer of the Spaniard in Midtown, said construction will start this summer on the first phase of 1500 Broadway, consisting of 153 apartments, one restaurant and two retail spaces. Work on a second phase of 118 apartments, one restaurant and one retail space will begin at a later date. A groundbreaking ceremony was recently held for construction of a new home for the family justice center that provides help for victims of domestic violence. The building along Hudson Avenue between NW 11th Street and NW 12th Street is being built as part of MAPS 4. Services at the future $42 million new home for Palomar will include 24-hour victim assistance, therapy and trauma treatment, acute medical services, comprehensive child services, educational services, a food pantry and other related wraparound services. 2 Texas A&M WR commits listed as Top 5 Rivals Camp performers
2 Texas A&M WR commits listed as Top 5 Rivals Camp performers Texas A&M's wide receiver future will depend on quarterback play and, of course, offensive coordinator Collin Klein's performance during the 2025 season. However, if starting QB Marcel Reed improves from the pocket combined with Klein's solid playcalling, the future is very bright for two incoming 2026 wide receiver commits, as four-stars Aaron Gregory and Madden Williams were reportedly two of the top-performing pass-catchers during the Rivals Camp Series. Ahead of the annual Rivals Five-Star event taking place in Indianapolis at the end of the month, Rivals recruiting insider Sam Spiegelman detailed the top performers, which included Gregory and Williams, who both increased their recruiting stock before their official visits this summer. Last weekend, Gregory was one of three Aggie commits to shut down his recruitment. At the same time, Madden Williams, who Florida State is heavily pursuing, will take his official visit to Texas A&M on June 20, his final visit of the summer. Here's what Spiegelman had to say about each player's Rivals camp performances: 2026 4-star WR commit Aaron Gregory "Gregory has been one of the crown jewels of Texas A&M's 2026 recruiting class. After turning in a monster junior season for Douglasville (Ga.) Douglas County, Gregory has enjoyed a sensational offseason, including a strong showing in Atlanta." "The future Aggie has a knack for wow receptions. He's extremely smooth with outstanding polish and the ability to get open. He's a problem for opposing defenses with the ability to work at all different levels of the field." 2026 4-star WR commit Madden Williams "Williams was the Wide Receiver MVP in Los Angeles. Another step forward as a route-runner and playmaker with size, speed and toughness to operate outside the numbers, Williams also flashed more polish and won in various contested-catch situations working on the perimeter and back in the middle of the field. Williams also showed the ability to separate against some elite cornerbacks." "He's another Texas A&M commit who has taken advantage of a big offseason." Gregory's smooth transitions, downfield speed, and soft hands will make him an immediate threat once he finds his groove with the Aggies. At the same time, as Spiegelman notes, Williams has improved as a route runner and could become a nightmare matchup in the middle of the field against zone coverage. Both players, paired with four-star wide receiver commit Mike Brown, currently represent Texas A&M's future at the position. Big 12 pitcher reportedly cancelled his visit to Texas A&M
Big 12 pitcher reportedly cancelled his visit to Texas A&M Texas A&M's pitching future is uncertain, as starters Ryan Prager and Justin Lamkin have yet to announce their plans for the upcoming season. Both could easily declare for the 2025 MLB Draft, particularly after Lamkin's impressive 2024 season. Prager, who was selected in the third round of the 2024 MLB Draft by the Los Angeles Angels, did not have his best season and should consider returning for a final season. However, head coach Michael Earely, who will return for his second season at the helm, has landed two arms from the transfer portal, including Rutgers closer Preston Prince, who threw as high as 98 MPH last season. Still, this is just a start, and according to College Baseball Central reporter Andrew Riedell, one of Texas A&M's scheduled visitors has canceled his plans. Riedell reported that Baylor LHP Carson Bailey was supposed to visit the Aggies this coming Tuesday, but will now consider other options, as he is being heavily pursued by several SEC programs who are all in need of pitching depth in the transfer portal age. While this isn't the best news for Earley and pitching coach Jason Kelly, the competition for pitchers in the portal is fierce, and Bailey could end up rescheduling a visit with the program shortly while he looks at other options. During his 2025 freshman season, Bailey finished with a 4.89 ERA and 56 strikeouts.
