This production line is the first LCA manufacturing facility outside Bengaluru, which is a very important step from a strategic point of view. Bengaluru already has two LCA production lines, with a combined annual capacity of 16 aircraft. Now with Nashik's additional annual capacity of 8 aircraft, India will be able to manufacture a total of 24 LCAs in a year.

Police file case against pub for selling liquor on dry day
Pune: The Yerawada police acted on a tip-off and raided a pub named Ballr at Kalyaninagar around 1.10am on Friday for selling liquor despite the fact that the govt has declared Aug 15 as a dry day. Police also registered a case against the manager (45). According to the police, there were 300 to 500 people in the pub when it was raided. Senior inspector Ravindra Shelke of Yerawada police said, "We have registered a case against the pub manager under the sections 223 (disobedience to the orders promulgated by a public servant) and 293 (continuance of nuisance after injunction to discontinue) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita."
