SPLASH ABOUT Europe's first Lego-themed waterpark reopens for summer and you can fly there for £17
THE first LEGO-themed waterpark in Europe has officially re-opened for the summer season.
Gardaland itself is one of the most popular theme parks in Europe, with the only themed aquarium in Italy and a Peppa Pig land.

There are huge Lego figures around the park
And in 2019, Gardaland opened the first, and only, LEGOLAND-themed water park in the world.
The waterpark has been closed through the winter months, but from May 31, 2025, has started to welcome visitors back to the pools and flumes.
It's a great place to cool down during the summer months, especially for any fans of Lego.
The water park has taken a lot from the parks, including its own Italian Miniland.
The recognisable Miniland is the heart of every Legoland Park where visitors can see the most iconic landmarks from across the world.
Gardaland water park also has its own lazy river called the River Adventure, a slow-moving river.
Visitors can bob down the slow-moving water attraction on a dinghy customised with Lego bricks.
From there, you can actually see Miniland depicting Italy and spot a Lego-brick built Colosseum, Tower of Pisa, Basilica and Bell Tower of St. Mark's Square.
Also in the water park is a Beach Party - with its seven slides and a huge tipping bucket of water.
Also in the park is the Pirate Bay swimming pool, as well as a pirate fortress, as well as Jungle Adventure waterslides and Beach Party cannons.

For younger kids, there's the Duplo splash park, which has smaller water rides and attractions.
Creation Island is the spot to go to for any kids who want to make their own Lego designs.
Souvenir shops and restaurants will also be opening in the park.
The water park is a real hit with visitors, one wrote on Tripadvisor: "The park is phenomenal and the water park is absolutely amazing."
One even said it gives "I loved the jumanji ride, and the kids loved legoland water park."
Another said that the water park is the perfect place to "cool down" in the summer.
With Ryanair, one-way flights from the UK to Valerio Catullo Airport in Verona start at £17.
From there, Gardaland is a 25-minute drive towards the coast.
One Sun Travel writer lives in the water park capital of the UK - and you can visit five of the country's best for £8.

One Sun Travel Writer Had The "Best Family Holiday
Maria Realf visited Garaland with her family - and it's safe to say she had an incredible holiday...
As the ride began to climb, the two views before me were dramatically different.
To my right, the serene turquoise waters of Italy's Lake Garda. On my left? A steep drop and a double loop-the-loop.
I'd stumbled across Gardaland in spring while trying to book a last-minute trip to Disneyland Paris. Don't get me wrong, I love a Disney park — but this time, faced with high prices and the possibility of French strike disruption, I decided to take a chance on somewhere new. The result? One of the best family breaks we've ever had.
On arrival, the next pleasant surprise was the lack of long queues. Most waits were 10-20 minutes. But while the resort might have been short on queues, it's certainly not short of fun.
There's plenty for all ages here, from Fantasy Kingdom and a small Peppa Pig Land for little ones, to adventure attractions including the latest Jumanji ride and white-knuckle thrills galore. My personal picks were epic log flume Fuga da Atlantide and the Mammut coaster, which reminded us of Disney's popular Big Thunder Mountain.
During the warm summer months until mid-September, guests can also cool off at Legoland Water Park — a 15,000-square-metre area within Gardaland.
Explore the Lego River Adventure with its floating rafts, the Beach Party packed with slides, or the Duplo Splash zone for younger visitors. If all that has worked up your appetite, there are lots of places to eat dotted around, from sit-down restaurants to takeaway kiosks - Maria Realf

The new Lego Harry Potter set is a very Christmassy looking Hogsmeade
Lego is celebrating Back to Hogwarts Day next month, with three free Harry Potter sets, including a brand new Room of Requirement. Some of the bigger Lego sets aimed at adults might seem very expensive, but in most cases they're intended to be birthday or Christmas presents, or at least for some sort of special occasion. The latest Harry Potter Collectors' Edition isn't cheap, but it would make the perfect Christmas gift – not least because it already looks the part. The Collectors' Editions are special giant-sized sets which recreate famous scenes or characters in more detail than cheaper ones aimed at kids. Sets like Gringotts Wizarding Bank and the Hogwarts Express might not be impulse purchases but they're the crème de le crème of Harry Potter Lego. This new set includes seven buildings, looking just as they appeared in the films, and all covered in snow; that includes the first ever Lego version of Zonko's Joke Shop and the Hog's Head pub. On top of that is a massive haul of 12 different minifigures, including some more obscure characters. Included amongst the minifigures are Harry, Ron, and Hermione – obviously – but also Professor McGonagall, Aberforth Dumbledore, Katie Bell, Draco Malfoy, Cornelius Fudge, Horace Slughorn, Madam Rosmerta, and Mrs Flume. Each of the seven buildings are grouped into three sections, and includes the Honeydukes sweet shop, the Owl Post, The Three Broomsticks pub, Dervish and Banges, and Scrivenshaft's Quill Shop. The buildings all have authentic-looking interiors, with details like exploding bon bons and sneakoscopes, as well as a portrait of Ariana Dumbledore that opens to a hidden passage. Since everything is built to the same scale as Gringotts Wizarding Bank and Diagon Alley you can combine them all for the ultimate, brick-built Harry Potter display. As for the price, it's £349.99 in the UK, from Lego stores and the Lego website. It will be available from September 4, or September 1 if you're part of Lego Insiders Early Access – which only requires a free sign-up. More Trending As an extra incentive to sign-up there are a total of three different free gifts available on Back to Hogwarts Day, which if it's not on your calendar already is September 1. The gift with purchase sets include Harry Potter Quidditch Lesson, which recreates the scene where Harry first learnt about Quidditch in the Philosopher's Stone and is free with any Harry Potter purchase over £35. If you spend over £115 on Lego Harry Potter sets then you get the Hogwarts Castle: Room of Requirement, which is made up of 202 pieces and fits together with the other Hogwarts Castle sets – although this is the only way to get it and it won't be sold in shops. Finally, if you buy the Hogsmeade set (which is over £115, so automatically gets you the other two free sets as well) then you get a Hogsmeade Sign. This isn't made of Lego but is a metal ornament featuring the Lego Hogsmeade skyline and an arch from which hang signs for Honeydukes, The Three Broomsticks and The Hog's Head. Got a story? Ibiza Final Boss's incredible new life from £9million villa to Bonnie Blue tease
Jack Kay shot to fame when a clip of the distinctive raver dancing on the Spanish party island went viral - now the Ibiza Final Boss is in line to earn six figures It began with a simple video on social media and soon after Jack Kay was captured dancing by Ibizan open air club Zero Six West, a legend was born. Jack, from Newcastle, was dubbed the Ibiza Final Boss of the Spanish party island after his distinctive appearance sent him viral on TikTok. The 26-year-old was quickly identified after Zero Six West asked in their caption: "Does anyone know this absolute legend coz we've got two free guestlist [spots] with his name on it!" The social media clip, which showed Jack sporting a memorable blunt bowl haircut as he partied wearing flashy sunglasses, a dazzling gold chain and designer black vest, has been viewed more than 18 million times in little over a week. Since going viral, we take a look at how his life has changed... READ MORE: Ibiza Final Boss' mystery relationship timeline as he 'fights to keep glam girlfriend' When the viral sensation's dancing display caught the eye of the internet, one person said of his eye catching haircut: "Ibiza at 11, bullying King John to sign the Magna Carta at 12", while another joked: "Short back and battle of Hastings please mate". Brands were quick to get on board too, with offering Jack an extended stay on the party isle. In no time at all, Jack had set up his own Instagram and TikTok accounts and he was soon snapped up by top celeb talent agency, Neon Management. The raver, whose distinctive look has been compared to everyone from Ringo Starr to Friar Tuck and a Lego man, went onto return to Ibiza in style with four mates. Sporting a fresh trim, the Ibiza Final Boss and his crew were seen boarding a £5 million private jet, with Jack sporting a fresh bowl cut trim from his barber Ali Kurbani back in Gateshead. "Ibiza, I'm on my way," he declared, heading to £5 million mansion Blue Stone Villa in upmarket Santa Eulalia. Ali, of B&D Barbers, told The Sun his client asks for a "medium skin fade with some length left on top", with the secret to the Lego -like shape being keeping the fringe crisp and the front well-defined. Jack's Ibiza Boss haircut costs £26. After returning to Ibiza, Jack was seen partying up a storm at a £9 million villa on the Spanish island, inviting 100 of his fans to watch DJs Deniz Menendez and Rsquared perform. Landing himself in hot water, the Ibiza Final Boss is said to have hired five dwarves for the event too, leading to criticism from disability rights groups. The party animal also turned the head of infamous adult content creator Bonnie Blue, who left an eyes emoji on a social media post which showed Jack riding in a Mercedes G-Wagon. The raver cryptically responded to Bonnie: "The final boss can't be slayed… your misses on the other hand? Her levels been completed". After he went viral, Jack's girlfriend Alisha Cook quickly made herself known. The 23-year-old from Durham captioned a series of clips on TikTok: "POV ya boyfriend's now known as the Ibiza final boss". But within days it was reported the couple were in trouble when Jack jetted back to the party island with his mates. Alisha later told The Sun: "All I want to say is, I love him, we're back together". As for Jack's career, PR Mayah Riaz, of Mayah Media, told the Mirror he had the potential to earn six figures if he made the most of his 15 minutes of fame. "He's got the holy trinity of viral success: that he's relatable, he popped up at the right time, and he's unintentionally hilarious," said the expert. "The internet seems to love him. And in today's fame economy that kind of organic buzz can absolutely be cashed in on, if he plays it right." Despite becoming the Ibiza Final Boss overnight, the Geordie insisted he was a simple lad at heart. "Appreciate all the love and messages off everyone," he told his fans on social media after he went viral. "I will get back to everyone quick as I can it's just a lot for me to take in at the moment. I am just a normal person from Newcastle it's crazy stay locked in got some big news coming."

Oasis 'flooded with huge offers for 2026 shows including Knebworth' amid reunion success
Liam and Noel Gallagher could carry on their huge Oasis reunion tour into next year as offers have reportedly been put to the band as the decision is all in their hands Oasis are said to have been inundaded with offers for shows for next year following their mega reunion this year. Brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher put their decades long feud aside as they reunited the iconic band for a string of shows. They kicked off in Cardiff last month before heading to Manchester, London and Edinburgh. The Britpop stars are set to carry on to Dublin before moving over to the US, Asia, Australasia and South America. Rumours have already been circulating that Oasis could carry on into 2026. It comes after Paul Weller revealed the unusual reason he refuses to watch Oasis concerts. Fans are hoping Oasis will head to Knebworth House next year as they mark the 30th anniversary of their two historic shows there. It would mean they would tip rival Robbie Williams off the post as the artist to have played the most shows at the Hertfordshire venue. According to the Sun, Oasis has been offered four dates at Knebworth along with a possible residency at their beloved Manchester City's Etihad Stadium. Fake posters of a 2026 tour have already appeared online as fans hold out hope for a chance to see the brothers back in action. However, it all boils down to whether Liam and Noel are really up for carrying it on. 'They'll be having a well-earned holiday as soon as this tour finishes later this year,' a source told the publication. 'As for 2026, they've seen the speculation, they've heard about the offers and they know what the fans want. But it's ultimately up for them to decide." Oasis: What's Their Story? An unofficial celebration magazine on sale now! A few simple words on social media on August 27 in 2024 were enough to spark pandemonium among Oasis fans and were the catalyst for the most eagerly awaited UK gigs of all time. This special unofficial magazine, available to order here, marks the reunion and honours the band both now and down the years with our incredible archive of photos and interviews - and with exclusive reviews and photographs of their first show! They added that it is up for Liam and Noel to weigh up if they want to "draw a line in the sand" or "keep the magic going". Yet, it is a "difficult decision". Festivals have also been holding out hope to bag Oasis at their events as they added both Coachella and Benicassim have sent offers to the band. The current tour was announced last year, almost 15 years to the date of their split, and a move that fans never believed would happen due to the tensions between Liam and Noel. Ever since Noel walked away, the two siblings have hurled insults at one another across social media and in interviews. But now, those days are firmly in the past with the two brothers walking out on stage each night holding hands, as though there had never been any bad blood. Get Oasis updates straight to your WhatsApp! As the hotly anticipated Oasis reunion tour grows closer, the Mirror has launched its very own Oasis WhatsApp community where you'll get all the latest news on the Gallagher brothers and all the information you'll need in the run up to the gigs. We'll send you the latest breaking updates and exclusives all directly to your phone. Users must download or already have WhatsApp on their phones to join in. Oasis' manager, Alec McKinlay, previously said that the current dates are the only ones that the band will be performing. He said in May: "This is very much the last time around, as Noel's made clear in the press. "It's a chance for fans who haven't seen the band to see them, or at least for some of them to. No, there's no plans for any new music." But Liam later hit out at the comments, saying that they came from "the accountant". Replying to a fan on X, he fumed: "Neither do I and the only people that will be making any kind of decisions on the future of OASIS will be ME n RKID [Noel] so let's just take it one day at a time."
