In a plot twist no one expected, Katy Perry has been filmed enjoying a cosy dinner with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau weeks after she and Orlando Bloom called it a day on their relationship.
The Fireworks singer, 40 and Trudeau, 53, looked deep in conversation at Montreal's Le Violon restaurant in a short video.
In the clip, filmed by an onlooker, Katy can be seen leaning in to hear Trudeau over a table in the Canadian city, as she smiled with her dark hair down, while the politician wore a brown jacket.
Alongside the video of their dinner obtained by Daily Mail, TMZ also report the pair headed out earlier in the evening to have a few drinks on the terrace at Taverne Atlantic.
Le Violon chef Danny Smiles told the US outlet there was no PDA when he served them.
It's not clear whether the pair are romantically involved, or just enjoying a casual dinner together while Katy is on the Canadian leg of her Lifetimes Tour.

Both have endured a difficult year, with the California Gurls hitmaker releasing a disappointing album, facing backlash for her Blue Origin flight to space, and splitting from British star Orlando after nine years together.
While the Lord of the Rings actor, 48, and the popstar never tied the knot, they got engaged in 2019 and share a four-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove.
In a joint statement issued to US media outlets in July, representatives for the couple said the pair 'have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on co-parenting'.
'They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is – and always will be – raising their daughter with love, stability and mutual respect,' it continued.
Sources claimed that the former couple 'had to admit' they would be better parents to their daughter if they weren't a couple.

Another insider said: 'At a certain point, they had to admit it's better for Daisy to see their parents separately, then she won't grow up feeling the tension and animosity.'
'They are there for Daisy and have been,' added the source. 'They want to keep a friendly relationship so each can be around her separately or together.'
While Bloom has posted cryptic messages on social media about 'new beginnings' since, Katy has ditched her engagement ring on public outings.
Meanwhile, Trudeau announced his resignation in January after 10 years in power ahead of a major election, as opposition grew following a series of by-election defeats.

Superman actor Dean Cain reveals shock decision to join ICE 'to help save Americ

To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Former Superman star Dean Cain has been slammed after announcing he was joining ICE to 'help save America'. The actor – born Dean George Tanaka – rose to fame in the 1990s when playing Superman and his alter ego Clark Kent in the TV series Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. However, Dean, whose biological father was of Japanese descent, has now shocked many by sharing he's now turning his focus to joining the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Posting a video on social media, he explained his reasoning. 'I am a sworn law enforcement officer, as well as being a filmmaker, and I felt it was important to join with our first responders to help secure the safety of all Americans, not just talk about it. So, I joined up,' he said. 'Since President Trump took office, ICE has arrested hundreds of thousands of criminals including terrorists, rapists, murderers, paedophiles, MS-13 gang members, drug traffickers…you name it. Very dangerous people who are no longer on the streets.' He then went on to encourage others to sign up too, pushing how people could 'earn lots of great benefits and pay'. As the theme music of Superman played, he told followers: 'You can defend your homeland for great benefits'. He then cited a $50,000 (£37,000) signing bonus, student loan repayment, enhanced retirement benefits, and special pay. Dean then added that ICE was 'helping save America and remove the worst of the worst from America's streets'. 'I like that, and I voted for that. They need your help to protect our homeland and our families. Join today if that's something that's tickled your fancy…because we need you.' He captioned the post: 'Join ICE! We need you to help protect US.' Although Dean did receive some support, many people flooded his post with comments questioning his decision and attempts to bring others on board. 'Until I saw this, I was such a fan,' Jamy commented. 'Shame on you Dean – that's the most un-Superman thing you could possibly advocate,' a Supergirl fan page shared. 'This is incredibly ironic coming from a direct descendant of Japanese immigrants,' Gabriella added. During an appearance on Fox News' Jesse Watters Primetime on Wednesday, Dean spoke about his recruitment video and said America was a country 'built on patriots stepping up, whether it was popular or not'. 'We have a broken immigration system. Congress needs to fix it, but in the interim, President Trump ran on this. He is delivering on this. This is what people voted for. It's what I voted for, and he's going to see it through, and I'll do my part and help make sure it happens,' he said. In recent months ICE has been undertaking immigration raids across the US, with directives to aim for a minimum of 3,000 arrests a day. The raids – which also sparked mass protests across the country – have seen undocumented people, residents with protected legal status, and even American citizens pulled off the streets and held in custody or deported. Although some people arrested have had criminal records, reports have also shown that many of those taken into custody have no past offenses. As part of Trump's 'big beautiful bill' recently, an extra $75billion (£56billion) was allocated to ICE, which included money to hire an additional 10,000 agents in the next four years. More Trending Since 2018 Dean has been a reserve police officer for the St. Anthony Police Department in Idaho. That same year he was elected to the board of directors of the National Rifle Association of America. He previously told Variety about his support for Trump, saying: 'I love President Trump. I've been friends with him forever. Trump is actually one of the most empathetic, wonderful, generous people you'll ever meet.' Got a story? Paddy and Christine McGuinness still living together and 'struggling to sell £6m mansion'

Paddy McGuinness and Christine McGuinness, who announced their separation in 2022, have been co-parenting whilst living in the same property with their three children Exes Paddy McGuinness and Christine McGuinness are said to be struggling to sell the mansion that they share. It comes following reports earlier this year that Christine's been "desperate" to sell the property to start afresh elsewhere. ‌ Paddy, 51, and Christine, 37, who have three children together, announced the end of their marriage in 2022. The former couple have continued to live together in the family's home in Cheshire whilst co-parenting in recent years. ‌ Earlier this year though, it was reported that they had put the seven-bedroom house on the market for £6.5 million. It's now claimed that there has been "very little interest" in the property ‌ READ MORE: Cat Deeley found moving back to the UK 'really hard' before split from Patrick Kielty The property, which includes a gym and other features, is understood to have been on the market for four months. According to the Sun, it's considered expensive even for the area and a source said that the market seems "a bit flat". A source told the outlet: "It's a lovely house with all mod cons in a fantastic location but there's been very little interest. It's the most expensive house in Prestbury on Rightmove but it appears the market's a bit flat right now." ‌ Paddy and Christine had shared that they would continue to live together when they announced their split, after 11 years of marriage, in 2022. In their statement they had said: "We'll always be a loving family, we still have a great relationship and still live happily in our family home together." The former couple have since spoken about remaining in the same home to co-parent together. Whilst on the Shizzio Show, in an episode released in March, she gave details about their living arrangements at the property. ‌ Christine shared that they were living in "separate" parts of the home. She said at the time: "We separated three years ago and we are completely divorced, and we live in separate parts of the house but we share a family home." There has previously been speculation that she's keen to sell the property though. That same month, it was reported that the Real Housewives of Cheshire star was feeling "utterly miserable" over continuing to live with her ex. ‌ A source had told the Daily Mail that she couldn't continue living with him. They told the outlet: "Christine is at the end of her tether and can't carry on living with Paddy." At the time, the source went on to claim that she hoped to buy somewhere smaller in the future. They said: "She is desperate to sell the house, split the proceeds, and buy a smaller property where she can live happily with their three children."

Already trouble in paradise? One Married At First Sight couple steps out SOLO - as tensions rise during first week of living together

Filming for Married At First Sight season 13 is underway—and it's already clear which couples are thriving and which ones are having second thoughts about matrimony. Production for the popular reality series kicked off two weeks ago, with next year's much-anticipated TV husbands and wives tying the knot in locations across Sydney. Now, Daily Mail can reveal the cast of next year's series have all been married, gone on their honeymoons, and already moved in together. On Wednesday, the loved-up hopefuls were spotted checking into One Global Resorts Green Square in Sydney. Among them, however, there seems to be one couple already facing trouble in paradise. Despite living together for just one week, it looks like Melissa Akbay and Melbourne farmer Luke Fourniotis are not off to a great start, after the Canberra bride was spotted spending time alone while her groom ran errands solo. She kept it casual in a pair of jeans and a white tee, taking a moment to sit on a bench as she frowned at her phone, clearly deep in thought Melissa looked downcast as she took to the streets of Sydney, listening to music on a pair of headphones and chomping on a KitKat bar. She kept it casual in a pair of jeans and a white tee, taking a moment to sit on a bench as she frowned at her phone, clearly deep in thought. Meanwhile, her TV husband seemed to be in a better head-space while wearing a gym ensemble, a giant smile on his face and a flower pushed behind his ear. He could be seen stretching before going on a jog around the city. While Melissa and Luke may have had a rocky start, the same can't be said for Rebecca Zukowski and Steve Powell, who were all smiles as they popped out for some groceries. The Melbourne leasing manager wore a chic brown coat over a pair of jeans, while her partner was wrapped up in a knitted sweater and scarf. They looked like the perfect pair, effortlessly matching each other's style while carrying home their groceries for the week. Influencer nurse Alissa Fay and David Momoh also looked chipper as they were pictured holding hands and walking around the city. They both rugged-up in tracksuits for the outing, with Alissa wearing a grey matching set and her husband David opting for an all-black ensemble. As for lovebirds Gia Fleur and her husband Scott McCristal, the couple were all over each other as they were seen picking up groceries from Woolworths. Gia, who has already been dubbed 'the wildest bride in MAFS history' by crew members, showed off her curvy figure in a skin-tight, bright pink top and shorts combo, with a large pair of sunnies, some sneakers and a white Gucci bag. Her hubby wore a North Face puffer and shorts, and was pictured putting a reassuring arm around his wife as they entered the supermarket. Leaving Woolies, Scott pushed a trolley full of goods while Gia carried a box of Moscato wine—a woman after our own hearts. Danny Hewitt and Rebecca Zacharia also looked strong, with the Adelaide socialite looking straight out of a fashion magazine as she wore a pair of leopard print pumps and a white cardigan. She carried an stylish bouquet of roses while her bearded beau carried the groceries, rocking a grey knitted sweater over a pair of jeans. Motivational speaker Filip Gregov and his wife Stella were also seen looking loved up, holding hands as they stepped out for a casual stroll in their gym clothes. Filip was all smiles as he held hands with his TV bride, who cut a slender figure in a Calvin Klein top, black leggings and bomber jacket. The duo are tipped to be big characters this season thanks to their fiery personalities and on-screen banter. While the show's signature drama is usually saved for the dinner parties and commitment ceremonies, this year's brides and grooms are wasting no time. An insider teased filming has already produced 'some of the strongest matches we've seen in years'—along with a few early red flags. 'There are couples with instant chemistry, and others who are clearly mismatched from the start. The tension is building—and we're only in the early stages.' Producers are said to be particularly proud of this year's mix of personalities—which includes creatives, professionals, tradies, and even a few wildcard entries that are sure to get viewers talking. 'It's a really bold cast. There's a lot of diversity in age, culture, and life experience,' one source said.
