ITP Media Group and Dubai Cares Join Forces For A Five-Year Partnership
So what does this mean in practice? ITP Media Group will support Dubai Cares through annual financial contributions, advertising space across its digital and print platforms, and PR services to boost awareness and fundraising. The goal: to bring more visibility and support to Dubai Cares' campaigns, both regionally and globally.
In the first year, the focus will be on the 'Emergency Response to Gaza' campaign, which provides critical aid—including hot meals, food baskets and shelter—to families affected by the ongoing crisis.
Ali Akawi, CEO of ITP Media Group, said the partnership reflects a shared mission. 'We believe in education, empowerment, and collaboration,' he said. 'This is about using our platforms to help make a real impact.'
Dubai Cares' CEO, His Excellency Dr. Tariq Al Gurg, echoed that sentiment, highlighting the importance of media in raising awareness and building community support. 'With ITP's influence, we know we can expand the reach of our message and bring more people into the fold,' he said.
Dubai Cares has been behind some of the UAE's most impactful campaigns – Gaza in Our Hearts, UAE Stands with Lebanon, and Taste of Giving, to name a few. Since it launched, the organisation has supported more than 24 million people in over 60 countries.
As for ITP, its portfolio includes a broad mix of media titles, ranging from Harper's Bazaar Arabia and GRAZIA Middle East to Time Out Dubai, Arabian Business, and even Spartan Race Middle East, all of which will be used to champion Dubai Cares' work and encourage public participation.
The message is clear: this is a partnership built on action, not just words.

Did Dubai Just Soft Launch A 4-Day Workweek? Here's Everything We Know…
Did someone say a four-day workweek in Dubai? Apparently, yes… Starting today, the emirate is officially easing into a slower, more intentional rhythm, one that's designed with balance and productivity in mind. The city has reintroduced its summer workweek format for government employees. First piloted last year across 21 government entities, the initiative returns for 2025 with a wider rollout and a renewed focus on community, connection, and calm. Under the newly expanded framework, government workers will fall into one of two groups: one enjoying a sleek and shorter Monday-Thursday schedule with Fridays off, and the other opting for shorter days across the week with Friday as a half-day. It's a shift that feels equal parts practical and deeply human. Launched off the back of the UAE's 'Year of the Community', this initiative is so much more than just cutting down working hours. Showcasing a commitment on the part of the government sector to improve the workplace, making it more responsive, flexible, and aligned with the needs of its employees. While allowing employees to reconnect with their families, navigate the summer with greater ease, but also to enhance productivity in the workplace. With the school break in full swing and the temperature rising, the updated structure offers families more time together and commuters less stress on the roads, a nod to a small change that sparks a bigger cultural shift. As for the private sector? While this rollout doesn't (yet) apply to non-government companies, it's clear that the conversation around flexible hours and remote working is gaining traction. For now, this summer is set to be softer, at least for those clocking in under the Dubai government umbrella. This move comes after Sharjah shifted to a four-day workweek in January 2022. Their employees reported an 88% increase in productivity and a 90% rise in job satisfaction. The move also left customers happier, with a service satisfaction rate of 94 per cent. These impressive statistics underscore the potential benefits of reduced work hours.

In Breaking Beauty News, Huda Kattan Reclaims Full Ownership Of Huda Beauty
Photo: @huda Instagram Huda Kattan is taking her power back – and with that, her entire business. In a move that feels both bold and deeply personal, the beauty mogul has officially bought back full ownership of Huda Beauty, ending her eight-year partnership with TSG Consumer Partners. Back in 2017, TSG took a minority stake in the brand. Fast forward to 2025, and Huda has reclaimed every bit of it, making Huda Beauty one of the rare founder-fully-owned brands in the beauty world today. 'Taking back full ownership of Huda Beauty is a deeply very important moment for me,' Huda said in a statement. 'It says that while many of us dreamers have visions that we are told are too big or not possible to do alone, in actuality, you have all the power you need to change the world yourself!' From what started as a beauty blog in 2010 to launching her first product (false lashes, naturally) in Sephora Dubai with a $6,000 loan from her sister Alya, Huda has gone on to build one of the biggest beauty empires in the last 10 years. Photo: Huda Beauty Now, with her husband, Christopher Goncalo, as Co-CEO and her sister Alya leading social strategy, Huda Beauty is, once again, a full family affair. Huda's focus now? Doubling down on community, authenticity, and products that speak to the real people wearing them. 'This brand was built on passion, creativity, and a desire to challenge the beauty industry,' Huda added in her statement. 'As we step into this new chapter, I'm more committed than ever to pushing boundaries, staying true to our roots, and showing up for our incredible community every step of the way.' The news of Huda taking full ownership back of her namesake brand comes four months after she revealed she was parting ways in business from her sister Mona Kattan and her fragrance brand Kayali. Both brands were founded by sisters Huda and Mona Kattan, first with Huda Beauty over a decade ago, followed by Kayali in 2018, which previously sat under the Huda Beauty empire. But for Huda Beauty, with a fresh logo, new launches on the horizon, and a founder fully at the wheel, the Dubai-founded beauty brand is stepping into its next era.
