This new installment will be directed by Michael Tiddes, a longtime Wayans collaborator known for A Haunted House, Naked, and Sextuplets. Keenen Ivory Wayans will return as a producer, alongside Marlon and Shawn, who starred in and co-wrote the first two films.
Hall's upcoming projects include Paul Thomas Anderson's One Battle After Another with Leonardo DiCaprio, Sean Penn, and Benicio Del Toro, slated for release on September 26. She is also starring in Judgment Day with Will Ferrell and Zac Efron, and lending her voice to The SpongeBob Movie: Search for Squarepants.
Faris, meanwhile, will next appear in Spa Weekend. Following her breakout in Scary Movie, she went on to star in The House Bunny, Overboard, and the long-running sitcom Mom. She is also the author of the New York Times bestselling memoir Unqualified.

Paramount Pictures is pressing ahead with a live-action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film, adapting the acclaimed and darker storyline The Last Ronin. The project remains in development, sources have confirmed, alongside the already scheduled animated sequel Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, due for release on September 172027. The Last Ronin, a five-issue comic published by IDW between 2020 and 2022, was written by Kevin Eastman and Tom Waltz from a story by Eastman and Peter Laird. Set in a grim future, the narrative follows the final surviving Ninja Turtle as he seeks vengeance for his fallen brothers by confronting the grandson of Shredder. The storyline exists in its own 'Roninverse' continuity, originating from a 1987 outline by Eastman and Laird. The comic earned widespread praise for its mature tone, emotional depth, and distinctive artwork. It has since expanded into follow-up series The Last Ronin – Lost Years and The Last Ronin II – Re-Evolution, with a video game also in development.
