SPORTS presenter Clare Balding says Celebrity Traitors saw the stars' friendships abandoned when they came together to take part in the BBC challenge show.
She is one of 19 famous faces who've just finished filming the spin-off series at Ardross Castle in the Scottish Highland for BBC One with Claudia Winkleman returning to host.

And although many of the celebs had become quite pally over doing various shows and events together over the years, the long-standing loyalties counted for nothing.
Talking at the Goodwoof event this week, Clare said: 'It is so intense, and you get completely obsessed with the game.
"Obviously I knew quite a lot of them before I went in, but the friendships you had before go out the window!
'That, for me, is very challenging because I like to be friends with everybody! It's brutal, but I think I'm glad I did it. It will make good television and there are some really strong moments.'
Clare was keeping quiet about whether she was a traitor or a faithful, and would only let slip one thing about one of her fellow competitors.
She said: 'There are some people who are so clever. I mean, Nick Mohammed from Ted Lasso, he can solve problems and puzzles in like four and a half seconds. He's amazing.
'It was lovely to get more time to hang out with people like Stephen Fry, Celia Imrie, Charlotte Church who's an absolute superstar, and a really cool young singer called Cat Burns - I would not have met her and Ruth Cobb who's an actress in any other situation, and I loved that.
'Yeah it was great fun.'
Clare also admitted that one of the main reasons she agreed to take part was because she was such a fan of The Traitors, which is currently filming its fourth 'civilian' series.
She said: 'I wanted to do it because I wanted to experience the show, and I was really lucky they said yes to letting me. I think I was one of the first ones signed up actually, me and Stephen Fry.'

Clare added: 'I wasn't even allowed to say I'd done Celebrity Traitors until they made the big announcement last week, and I certainly can't talk about any of the detail.'

GARETH MALONE will have no trouble hitting the high notes in the dangerously tight outfit he squeezes into for The Horne Section TV Show.
The choirmaster makes a cameo appearance in the new series of the sitcom, which kicks off tonight on Channel 4.
He stars alongside Taskmaster's Alex Horne, who plays himself as a host of his own late-night chat show alongside his band, The Horne Section.
Alex says the series involves 'six men who are nearly 50 years old, who should know better, but have been given a TV show, so we're mucking around, trying to make each other laugh'.
Also taking part in the chaos are Ghosts star Kiell Smith- Bynoe and impressionist Ronni Ancona.
Alex adds: 'It's really childish, it's very silly. We're just going to have a laugh.'
Gareth's clearly on board with that mantra, too.
GAVIN & Stacey star Rob Brydon plays divorcee Bill Beam, who staves off financial ruin by renting his spare rooms to students in a new show – Bill's Included.
It's one of several new comedies announced by the Beeb which include Reluctant Vampire starring Bafta winner Lenny Rush.

BBC Breakfast host Naga Munchetty has revealed that trolls love to have a pop at her appearance.
She said: 'The number of times I've had comments like, 'You shouldn't be wearing that dress, you've got a bit of a belly'.
'People are quite happy to comment on social media.
'I'm very happy with my body. I'm fit, I'm strong, but women have bellies.'
She added to Gabby Logan on her The Mid-Point podcast: 'You get a lot of nice comments, but women are expected to portray a certain aesthetic.
'And when you dress for news you have to be mindful that what you wear cannot be distracting.
'Women are more highly criticised and noticed.'

That seems to be the motto of Liz Hurley who has just been announced as the leading lady on new Channel 4 show The Inheritance.
The Austin Powers actress is being joined by Rob Rinder on the upcoming reality series, which sees 13 strangers summoned to a grand stately home.
They have to compete for a chunk of the fortune left in the will of The Deceased, a rather glamorous woman, played, naturally, by our Liz.
Rob plays her executor and legal counsel – which is understandable given he is a trained barrister and erstwhile Judge Rinder.
He said: 'As The Executor I enforce the rules, keep the chaos in check – more or less – and make sure our players are deserving of every glittering penny left by our dearly departed deceased.'
The show will air this autumn.

THERE could well be a second series of The Bardsley Bunch – if Tanya Bardsley gets her way.
The former Real Housewives Of Cheshire star reckons fans are chomping at the bit for a sequel to the reality show that focuses on her, hubby Phil, a former footballer, and their children.
The mum of four said: 'It resonates with people because there's no filter with us. I've not had one bad comment.
'Kids can be little t****rs no matter how much you dress them up, but all the mums out there understand that.
'We're having talks about series two with ITV soon. No one else would employ me, so what else am I going to do?
'I got sacked when I was a cleaner, so this will be it!'

Suranne Jones is set to star in a TV drama about witchcraft having becoming obsessed with the subject

SURANNE JONES is to star in a TV drama about witchcraft – having becoming obsessed with the subject after making a documentary about the phenomenon.
The Gentleman Jack actress has paired up with the production team behind Disney historical thriller series A Thousand Blows and Bafta-winning Sky comedy Mr Bigstuff.
Suranne and her husband, producer Laurence Akers, are both fascinated by the supernatural and were spurred on to make the show after co-creating last summer's Channel 4 documentary, Investigating Witch Trials.
The drama is in its early stages but is expected to go into production within months.
Though they have yet to attach it to a channel, the creators say the biggest hurdle is financing it.
Tom Miller, of production firm Water and Power, told the British Television Society: 'We're currently developing a TV drama with Suranne and Laurence about witchcraft.
'Increasingly, as we build a reputation, we get sent books and scripts, though developing them can be expensive.
'We don't have backers — we're completely independent — so we have to bear development costs.'
Two-parter Investigating Witch Trials saw Suranne exploring the stories behind the infamous 17th century prosecutions for witchcraft.
She delved into the myths surrounding sorcery while exploring the historic witch trials and the super-natural in England, America and beyond. And she also exposed how age-old prejudices still affect women today.
She said: 'For as long as I can remember, I've been intrigued by the idea of witches. I would love to be cast as a witch.
'When I was younger I didn't gravitate towards princesses, I loved fairy tales and folklore.
'But I loved witches and the wild women who got their hands dirty.'
I'd roll your sleeves up now, Suranne — you'll have channels and streamers banging on your door for this drama.

Controversial BBC Breakfast host Naga Munchetty could face investigation after string of complaints relating to her 'hard' and 'bullying' tone following claims she fostered 'toxic' work atmosphere
Presenter Naga Munchetty could face an investigation from BBC bosses after she was accused of bullying a junior colleague. The BBC Breakfast host, 50, has been placed 'under review' while bosses consider escalating complaints to a formal investigation, The Sun reports. A source said higher-ups had heard from several colleagues and logged concerns over her 'hard' and 'bullying' behaviour on the breakfast show, as well as her Radio 5 Live show. 'Following the amount of people who have come forward to share their experiences with Naga, the BBC has officially moved to place the complaints under review. 'The review is to ascertain whether a full-on investigation is required and that could come in weeks', the source told The Sun. Daily Mail has approached BBC and Munchetty's representatives for comment. It comes after Munchetty was spoken to by execs after a junior staffer accused the journalist of bullying them. She was also reportedly hauled into a meeting after she made a sex jibe during an ad break while hosting her radio show. She is believed to have used a crude slang term for a sec act and reportedly asled a colleague if they had ever done it. It was also reported last month that Munchetty was planning on quitting BBC Breakfast after she was accused of bullying. Her own conduct was thrown into doubt when BBC Breakfast's editor Richard Frediani reportedly took an extended period of leave, after an internal review of bullying and misconduct allegations was opened into the show. Amid the fallout, Munchetty's agents have reportedly 'held talks with rival station LBC' to explore opportunities for the highly-respected journalist. A source told The Sun: 'The fallout of Richard Frediani's investigation created a stark 'him or her' narrative on Breakfast with Naga flung to the front line. 'The fact is she loves the BBC and her job but there's only so much external noise anyone is prepared to take. LBC would suit her well as the focus remains on news-led broadcasting, they take a hard line and there's far less of the fluffy nonsense involved in working at the BBC. 'Her team last week renewed historic talks with the Global radio station to see if there could be any work for her there.' New figures released by the BBC last month revealed the presenter was awarded a £10,000 increase in her annual salary. It now takes her pay packet to an eye-watering £355,000 - almost double that of her co-host Charlie Stayt. Crime novelist Lynda La Plante was discussing her latest book release The Scene Of The Crime. Having researched forensics for her novels, Lynda explained animatedly: 'If you have blood spattering, you could get an expert that deals only with that, and they could walk in and see pooling, splattering-' But she was interrupted by Munchetty, who quickly warned her: 'Careful! It's breakfast.' Good-natured Lynda seemed unfazed, and laughed: 'Sorry!' but it wasn't long before Munchetty delivered another blunder, forgetting the name of the hit crime series inspired by Lynda's most famous book. 'A limit of the horror?' clarified Lynda, before answering: 'I think there is my own limit. 'We can give a name to virtually every reason for a crime, you can say they had a horrible background, an abused child, or psychological problems, but there is no-one that can ever say "This is what made evil". We haven't got it. Charlie then asked Lynda: 'We're almost out of time. Do you think you would have made a good detective yourself?' But Lynda insisted she would be 'dreadful', adding: 'I talk too much and I think I'd get awfully upset.' Fans of the show weren't impressed, and rushed to social media to express their disapproval. One wrote: 'Never, ever let Charlie ad-lib. F***ing disaster every single time.'

Alex Jones confirms return of her The One Show co-host after lengthy break
The One Show host Alex Jones confirmed the return of her co-host after a lengthy absence from the BBC programme. Alex Jones has disclosed that one of her previous co-presenters is making a comeback to The One Show next week. At the end of Friday's (August 1) programme, the Welsh host, who recently provided an update to her followers, i nformed BBC audiences that Ronan Keating was returning to the iconic green sofa following an extended absence. As the episode ended she announced to viewers: "That's all we've got time for tonight! a big thank you to our guests. "Now, Ronan Keating is back with me on Monday, with guest's Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Ade Edmondson and Helen George." The revelation follows the Boyzone singer's disclosure back in 2023 that he would be presenting fewer programmes owing to his musical obligations, reports Wales Online. In a statement released at the time, Ronan explained: "I'll be doing less shows this year due to my performing and recording schedule but I'm still very much part of the family." Meanwhile in the episode, presenters Alex and Clara Amfo admitted they felt anxious about one specific guest they would be interviewing. As Friday's programme began, BBC viewers witnessed Clara and Alex reveal who would be appearing later in the show. Initially they mentioned Vicky McClure would be performing live later in the programme with Jon McClure's band Reverend and the Makers. Nevertheless, it was actor Sam Claflin who left the pair feeling nervous about welcoming him onto the programme. Clara said: "We're equally excited by somebody else who knows a thing or two about rock'n'roll, actor Sam Claflin blew us away in Daisy Jones and The Six. "Honestly, myself and Al were obsessed with this show, we're a bit worried that he's going to be scared of us later, but we carry on!" Despite this, it appeared Sam was entirely comfortable whilst chatting to the duo, as they discussed his part in the Amazon Prime programme. Playing Billy Dunne in Daisy Jones and The Six, Clara didn't hesitate to enquire whether viewers might anticipate another series. The star responded: "I can't speak for everyone, I can speak for myself. I think we'd love to. It's just not in my hands! It's not my decision unfortunately. "I think getting six actors together with our schedules-obviously, if we were a band, our schedules would be aligned.
