‘Terrifyingly good' 2025 horror movie is finally coming to Netflix very soon
One of the best horror movies of the year is finally coming to Netflix very soon, just in time to terrify us all over again.
Heart Eyes hit the big screen in February, just in time for Valentine's Day, with Mason Gooding, Olivia Holt, Devon Sawa and Jordana Brewster in the star-studded cast.
The slasher, directed by Josh Ruben, followed singleton Ally as she is forced to team up with freelancer Jay (Mason), in a bid to fix an ill-timed marketing campaign.
Unfortunately, the mysterious Heart Eyes Killer mistakes them for a couple and sets about trying to bring their 'romance' to a brutal, untimely end.
There is good news as the flick will be landing on Netflix in the UK on May 8, and on the US version of the platform from May 7.
Heart Eyes earned rave reviews when it premiered, and currently commands a critics score of 81% on Rotten Tomatoes, compared to an audience rating of 77%.
User Horror Fan 4 raved: 'This was funny and terrifyingly good at the same time. The kills were fantastic and the big reveal at the end a little predictable but still a great addition to the Valentine's Day collection.'

The film's official synopsis reads: 'For the past several years, the Heart Eyes Killer has wreaked havoc on Valentine's Day by stalking and murdering romantic couples. This Valentine's Day, no couple is safe…'
Mason, who earned his horror stripes in the Scream franchise, previously touched on the future of Heart Eyes, and whether we could see the killer strike again.
He told Entertainment Weekly: 'I hope so. That's the goal.
'That'd be fun. [Would] love to do it again. Any opportunity to work with Olivia is one I'm going to take 10 times out of 10. Josh, as well.'

Grammy-nominated artist JP Saxe has been forced to axe his entire tour unless he sells 20,000 tickets immediately after he 'aimed too high'. The Canadian singer, 32, is best known for his hit song If The World Was Ending, which he released in 2019 with vocals from Julia Michaels. The track landed him a Grammy nomination for Song of the Year 2021 but lost out to I Can't Breathe by H.E.R. Four years on, and he's taken to social media to confess he had overestimated how many tickets he could sell to his latest tour. 'I'm extremely embarrassed to tell you this, but I'm going to tell you anyway,' he began in a video posted to social media. 'If I don't sell 20 or so thousand tickets to my tour in the next 48 hours, it's going to be cancelled. 'If we're just not in a place yet to sell out these 2,000-, 3,000-cap venues – that's fine. It's always been my goal to connect deeply, not widely, and I stand by that.' The Make Yourself At Home tour was due to start next month with 32-dates scheduled across America, ending in October. He urged fans who might be waiting until the last minute to purchase tickets to act now so it could go ahead. 'Just in case you were waiting till the week of or night of to buy a ticket – that approach just isn't going to work, because there won't be a show to buy a ticket to,' JP continued. 'So whether that happens or not, I'm grateful to you for caring about my songs, and I hold on to a sliver of hope that I will see you in the fall.' After his message, an influx of 'a few thousand extra' ticket sales came in but it still hasn't been enough to save the tour. 'I am beyond grateful to every one of you who bought one,' JP said in a follow-up video once the 48hour deadline had passed. 'Those few thousand tickets are a reminder that being transparent in failure sometimes can be more powerful than the façade of success – a reminder of how wonderful it can be to ask for help and watch a community come together.' With a smile, he added: 'This really was the nicest the internet has ever been to me.' Apologising to those who wanted to come, JP confirmed purchases would be refunded in full 'with a small side of immense gratitude from a dorky ginger Canadian'. He then went on to write about the experience for Variety, explaining that honesty is not always seen as the best policy in the industry but it was important to him. The second series of Netflix 's horror comedy-drama Wednesday is set to welcome British icon Joanna Lumley to its cast, sparking intrigue among fans about her role in the show. The action comedy titled Fubar is the Hollywood actor's first move into the world of TV. The first season of Fubar saw 11million people watch the TV show over a weekend in May 2023. But the second season only garnered 2.2million views, which, according to Deadline, is reportedly the reason for it being axed. In a bid to promote the TV series, Arnold, best known as Arnie among his fans, announced his latest project in 2021. It comes after reports Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are set for new 'goldmine' offer - but could face issue. At the time he told fans: "Fans from all over the world have been asking me for a wild ride like this for years, and now they're finally going to get it because of our great partners at Skydance and Netflix." He added: "I am beyond pumped to start work on the show with [creator] Nick [Santora] and Monica and the whole team." Arnold plays a CIA operator named Luke Brunner and Monica Barbaro plays his daughter. The series shows the pair solving their "high stakes missions" while dealing with their "awkward family dynamics." Ahead of the second season, fans expressed concern for the show as its return was less than impressive. Taking to X one fan wrote: "Season 2 of FUBAR was full of action and found family but felt underwhelming in prioritising messy love triangles over character growth." Another said: "[Netflix] keep increasing prices and refusing to give shows that people love a last season. I am going to FINALLY cancel Netflix if Fubar doesn't get a 3rd season." And on Rotten Tomatoes, one user penned: "The first season wasn't this bad. The acting is horrible, the direction is awful, the story is ridiculous and the dialogue dreadful. " They continued: "The premise is stupid and then it went downhill from there. There were times I literally cringed." But in order to balance the negative comments, one person wrote that it was "quirky but brilliant" and went on to say it was "terrific fun." A second added: "Just finished Fubar S2. This show is just great. A bit slap stick, but clever and just fun. Stand out performances from absolutely every cast member, my fav from Andy Buckley he was hilarious. "
