Sydney Sweeney confirms relationship status in new interview
In her interview with The Times, Sweeney confirmed she and Davino had ended their engagement three years after getting engaged.
When asked if she was planning a wedding, Sweeney replied, 'No.' When asked if she is single, she said, 'Yes.'
She added, 'I'm learning a lot about myself, spending more time with my friends. And I'm loving it.'
Sweeney and Davino first sparked dating rumors back in 2018 and got engaged in February 2022.
A source previously told People Magazine that their relationship had been 'rocky for a long time' and that Sweeney has been focusing on her career since the split.
'She's exactly where she wants to be. Most people would feel overwhelmed by her working schedule this year, but not Syd. She's all about working right now and very excited about all her projects,' the source said.

'What did make her overwhelmed, though, was her relationship and her wedding. She didn't feel right about it.'
Sweeney is currently busy with a new season of Euphoria, as well as several film projects, including an adaptation of The Housemaid and roles as Christy Martin and Kim Novak.
According to the source, Sweeney 'is in the middle of this magical career that she could only dream of a few years ago. This is what she wants to focus on right now.'
They added, 'She's not ready to settle down. They only lasted for this long because it was hard for her to break it off. They didn't split because there is no love. They split because she just wants to focus on her career right now.'
Despite the breakup, Sweeney and Davino, a Chicago businessman, have been seen together in public. A source told People, 'This wasn't just a relationship. This was two people living together and planning a future. They still have things to figure out.'
Throughout their relationship, Sweeney kept many details private. 'Everyone is always so curious about who I'm with and what's that like, but I think it's important to have something for me,' she told Glamour UK in December 2023. 'I'm very open (otherwise). I talk about so much and sometimes it gets me in trouble, but I do try to keep something for me.'

Since the split, Sweeney has been the subject of intense dating rumors, especially with her Anyone But You co-star Glen Powell.
Their undeniable chemistry during the film's press tour led fans to speculate about a possible romance, though both have insisted they are just friends.

Sweeney also explained her approach to dating in a 2022 Cosmopolitan cover story, saying, 'I don't date people in the spotlight. I don't date actors or musicians or anyone in entertainment because I can just be normal Syd that way and it's easiest. I have a great support system. I have people who will battle for me and allow me to be on the pedestal and shine without making me feel like, 'Oh no, I'm shining too bright and I need to step back.' I look for a best friend. I need to be able to be with someone who I can literally hang out with 24/7 and never get sick of and we laugh every single day.'

John Mayer is 'going with the flow' and doesn't know when he'll release his next album
John Mayer has enough songs to put out a new album - but he's taking a "breather" for now. The 47-year-old rock star hasn't put out a record since 2021's Sob Rock, and while he's been enjoying freely making music and touring, he's admitted he wants to continue living in the moment and has no plans to release a follow-up for the time being. He told People: "I don't know when it's coming out, but I've been going around making music, touring, making music, touring for a lot of years, and I think it would make sense at this stage in my life [to] just take a breather and figure out when I want to do it and how I want to do it. "So I'm enjoying just taking it day-by-day and doing the projects I love." He continued: "I have enough songs that I could put a record out right now. "But if I put a record out right now, I would want to go on the road, and I just want to take a minute and practice this newfound going with the flow." Mayer has been inspired to "let go" by the Grateful Dead, who he's been touring with since 2015. On what the legendary band has taught him, he said: "Let it happen — and I have to relearn that all the time." He expanded: "The number of times that they've winged it or we've winged it, and I said, 'You can't wing it.' No. I realised the irony. This is the [Grateful] Dead, or this is Bob [Weir] and Mickey [Hart] and Billy Kreutzmann from the Dead, but my thing was always, 'Oh, you got to stretch it. "Some of the best shows we've ever played were just letting it go and playing, and so it's taught me how to do that."

Orlando Bloom wants 'everybody' back in Pirates of the Caribbean
Orlando Bloom would love to see "everybody" back for another Pirates of the Caribbean film. Disney film franchise's producer Jerry Bruckheimer, 81, recently revealed he has talked to Johnny Depp, 62, about reprising his role as Captain Jack Sparrow as work gets underway on the screenplay for a sixth film. And, Bloom has said he'd love to return as Will Turner if the rest of the cast - which also included Keira Knightley, 40, as Elizabeth Swann - agreed to reprise their roles and the script is right. As quoted by Entertainment Weekly, Bloom said at Fan Expo Chicago: 'Everything is in the writing, right? Everything is on the page, and I think there's definitely, I'm sure there's a way to create something. 'I would personally love to see everybody back. I think the way to win on that one is to get everybody back. If they can, and if everybody wanted to go back.' He continued: 'My thing is, if the script was great and — ideally it was everybody — it'd be kind of like in for a penny, in for a pound, you know." Sharing his thoughts on the reboot, the 48-year-old star said: 'What they're thinking…is how to do it. 'Do you bring in a female leading character that replicates Jack in some way? I don't know. The jury is out on how to do it again.' What may throw a spanner in the works is the fact Knightley is against the idea of being part of a franchise again. She told The Times in November: 'The hours are insane. It's years of your life, you have no control over where you're filming, how long you're filming, what you're filming." Bruckheimer recently told Entertainment Weekly Depp, like Bloom, is all about the script He said: 'If he likes the way the part's written, I think he would do it. "It's all about what's on the page, as we all know… we are still working on a screenplay. We want to make it. We just got to get the right screenplay. We haven't quite gotten there yet, but we're close." The fifth movie in the franchise, 2017's Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, saw Depp return along with Geoffrey Rush (Hector Barbossa), 74, Bloom, and Keira Knightley, 40. The following year, Disney cut ties with Depp, which he claimed was over an article his ex-wife, Amber Heard, 39, wrote - but did not mention Depp by name - in the Washington Post in 2018, which his lawyers say falsely implies he physically and sexually abused her while they were together. Depp sued Heard for her op-ed, and the jury ultimately ruled that Heard's piece, which had references to "sexual violence" and "domestic abuse", were false and defamed Depp with actual malice. While a sixth movie would be a reboot of the franchise, Bruckheimer would still like to see Jack Sparrow make an appearance. He previously told Entertainment Weekly: "It's a reboot, but if it was up to me, he would be in it. I love him. He's a good friend. He's an amazing artist, and he's a unique look. He created Captain Jack. That was not on the page; that was him doing a little Pepé Le Pew and Keith Richards. That was his interpretation of Jack Sparrow." He also revealed that Jeff Nathanson, 59, who wrote Dead Men Tell No Tales, was working on the sixth film. He said: "I think he's cracked it. He's got an amazing third act. "We just gotta clean up the first and second, and then we'll get there. But he wrote a great, great third act."

Sydney Sweeney hailed for professionalism on set of The Housemaid while engagement was 'falling apart'
Sydney Sweeney "didn't bring any issues" to the set of The Housemaid while her engagement was "falling apart". The film's director, Paul Feig, has praised the Euphoria star for maintaining her professionalism at work despite dealing with the breakdown of her relationship with her former fiancé, Jonathan Davino, whom she dated for seven years. In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, Paul said: 'She was completely present emotionally.' He continued: 'And I know she was going through some things when this was going on — I mean, now everybody knows about her engagement falling apart and breaking off and all that." That didn't stop the Bridesmaids helmer checking in on her. He recalled: 'I'd say, 'Hey, are you OK?' and she'd go, 'I'm fine, I'm great!' but not defensively.' In the same interview, Sydney, 27, was asked if she and film producer Jonathan, 42, will continue working together under their Fifty-Fifty Films banner. She said: 'I'm going to keep all of my personal stuff out of it." Sydney - who got engaged to Jonathan in 2022 - confirmed she was single in May when asked by The Times newspaper, simply replying: "Yes." The confirmation of Sydney's breakup came after it had been claimed by insiders that she had become "overwhelmed" by the thought of planning a wedding and instead chose to focus on her hectic schedule instead. A source told People: "She's exactly where she wants to be. Most people would feel overwhelmed by her working schedule this year, but not Syd. She's all about working right now and very excited about all her projects. "What did make her overwhelmed, though, was her relationship and her wedding. She didn't feel right about it." "She's in the middle of this magical career that she could only dream of a few years ago. This is what she wants to focus on right now. "She's not ready to settle down. They only lasted for this long because it was hard for her to break it off. They didn't split because there is no love. They split because she just wants to focus on her career right now."
